Great grocery store. I shop here every time I visit my family in South Carolina. They carry products I can't find in Florida, like Revel BBQ, Jesse Jones hot dogs and fresh pork sausage. I buy it at KJ's, then freeze it and take it back to Florida.

Their weekly sales brochure has many sale items, but they are extremely hard to find in the store or in a lot of cases they say they are out of them. This happens every week not just ever so often.

The MEAT DEPARTMENT!!! ❤️ Michael Thompson I really appreciate your effort to make sure I find what I need in your department! You actually take your time to show my husband and I what’s on sale, what’s the best quality and quantity to buy and because of you, my husband refuses to buy meats from any other meat store, especially pork chops! We travel from Maxton to Dillon just to buy meats and he will not buy pork chops from any other store! Just wanted you to know you are appreciated! Thank you so much for all you do for us!

Came in the store at 944pm chatting customer and cashiers is talking 2nd cashier in line in front of me then the start talking now 5 min went by now 2nd cashier items have red stickers on them she don't like the total at the end she neglected to tell her about the red stickers now you would think she would have told her while they were talking . Wow

First time there, I was passing through, thought about buying some liver pudding, but they didn't have the kind I prefer, the one with the rice in it, although I didn't see anything wrong with what they had. I would say it's good place to go shopping.

Terrible store, terrible customer service, everything is priced outrageous and most of the time it rings up even higher than the marked price. Manager is incompetent. Was literally charged $3.18 for 2 jalapenos (should have been maybe 30 cents) at $1.99 per pound. Cashier just made up own price as scale was not working. When I asked about the price her response was "I don't make the prices" even though she charged $1.89 for one jalapeno and $1.29 for the other without weighing anything. Called to speak to the manager and crystal (employee who answered phone) was completely rude and hung up on me and continued to play games when I called back. Will never shop here again. Wish I was allowed to zero star.

I personally shop food lion they have sliced chicken in the deli , kjs dont.. kjs does carry cream of bacon and food lion don't but brought to their attention and said would order it

I'm only commenting on the deli I used to come most mornings I have to work and the breakfast is good.... now as of this week and others but this week the deli has been consistently unorganized unprofessional and unclean... the service is horrible and the workers are incompetent my suggestion is they should do a hiring binge. The workers act as if they do not want to work or serve you I will not be coming back until I notice some changes....

They have some of the best chicken in Dillon and the people were so helpful! This last experience on Saturday was not bad. They were a little high with their meat but it's still a great place to shop for groceries.

Decent prices. I love the dollar aisle they have. This particular store is always neat and organized. The bakery has made my son cakes every year and they are better then Wal-Mart!! Those ladies over. There know what they are doing! Also they have the best chicken I have tasted yet!! If you don't need to go grocery shopping at least get you a plate and have a great day!!

Nice smaller store with many regional brands. They have a meat market that is well stocked, but always shy when it comes to beef. Prices are about normal to a bit higher when compared to other markets around. They really need to expand their produce section.

I worked at the former store 30yrs ago . We as teenagers had pride about our work ethics. We were trained which the store is lacking and it's noticeable today. I'm sure the economy may be one component. we ran the store more efficiently. If a customer couldn't locate an item we knew where it was again training, we were taught how to bag grocery properly with speed,, how to talk to customers. Brand new store lacking so much. I can go on and on: however I'd like to see it turn it's culture's around for the better.

Wayyyyyyy overpriced, then a third of my items don't match the sticker prices and they have to go and price check and of course they were wrong and trying to overcharge. Watch em!

Customer in the deli is horrible. Unfriendly staff and disgusting attitudes. Management needs to handle staff better because they make you feel as if the agree with how they treat the customers. I asked to speak with the manager and he never responded. Very disappointed.

Absolutely not. Carls Food Center in the 80's provided much better service. I worked there. We were trained well took pride on our work.We had to know what was on each ilse. If a customer asked we knew it. Cashiers and baggers train for accuracy of how to bag and with speed...the bagger had to keep up with cashier. I was both. We were teenagers and had a ball a work. Now 33- 35 yesrs later my friends and associates that we work together there in High school.. speak of the big difference. Yes the have a new store but a high turnover. We didn't have that. I blame management. Lead come from the top. Stop promoting people just because they've been there a long time. Everybody doesn't have the personality to be a manger. That place is a mess. The only reason I frequent it as I do is due to the location and my work time. The suck period!

Certain cashiers are nice, considerate and friendly. There are others tht are rude and talk about the customers. Sale Prices Are Pretty Good But Items Especially Fruits Can Be Pricey.

I visited this store on 10/02/2017 and ordered food from the deli/bakery. We later found that KJ's store charged us approximately $20 more than we thought we should have paid. I called the store the next morning and put in a dispute with "Roger or Robert" who was able to pull the tape and determine that we got $20 cash back at the register which we totally forgot about. I was embarrassed but thankful they were able to verify this even without an receipt.No at bad team of people! God Job and highly recommended.Thanks

Clean store. They have what you need, and if you don't want to cook they have a deli you can get to take home to eat

The prices are extremely too high. Some of the cashier's and managers can act stuck up at times but for the most part I go for small things bc it's closer to my house
