Tried LCLE for the first time in 20 years and was promised things were better. Yardage fees are highly inflated compared to other sales. My cattle were there only a few hours. When asked why it was so expensive they said for hay and water. My cattle received neither and were in pins with no hay or water. There are little to no buyers there. So the cattle bring nothing. Seems like this sell is set up for the few buyers they have to to buy cows cheap. Do yourself a favor and drive a few more miles to another sale especially if you are selling cattle.

Last 3 sales that I took cattle have been a disappointment. One ticket had me down with a red cow and I took all black. Took 10 good looking feeders to the roundup and basically gave them away. Closest sale to me, but I'm taking them up the road from now on.
