This store has the BEST produce, I can't find quality produce in my neighborhood, so whenever I'm in or near Darlington, I make sure I shop here to get quality food.

They have the "brand name" items I need, most of the time.They offer good coupons for those that like to clip and save.The employees are usually very helpful.Only give 3* because I usually have to purchase my produce, cereal and meats at a different store because Food Lion prices cannot compare to Aldi prices. Given the economy and the state it is in, I have to save money where I can.

This store is always neat and clean so are their bathrooms. For some reasons it the only place where I can find the banquet brown and serve patties sausage.

They have everything you need shelves are never empty and they got pretty good clientele even though it's a Walmart across the street the place is very clean and large buggies for everyone it's pretty easy to find most items in the store staff is also friendly and helpful

Great place to shop for everone in the family. Needs more room to passDon't like they have racks every where. Hard to find what you are looking for. Purses are way to high. Love $5 dollar section.nice cashiers and clean place to shop.

After posting a review concerning my recent experience at the Food Lion store in Darlington, I spoke with the Store Manager Mr. Poulk who rectified the issue. I was really impressed with his mannerism and his expectations of the employees and the store. Most importantly making sure all customers are pleased! I was not planning to ever shop there again, but after speaking with Mr. Polk, by the way, who was very pleasant, I am going to give it another try!

The Marion store can be really under staffed at times, with not enough cashiers. And the managers do very little to help out. The staff is great, but management is useless.

It was good. The young lady at the deli-station was very polite and helpful. She was also very informed about the different types and varieties of meats. I left the station very satisfied with my purchases. Food Line is always a great place to shop, friendly and always willing to help you.

Terrible management. Most of their boxed goods are out of date...They announce you have 15 minutes to shop before closing and out goes the lights. I get off work late and was choosing to shop here. If this is how you treat customers, you just lost one. I mean, Wal-Mart is next door.

Was short changed 15$ after some frustration from the cashier with register issues. I get the line was building up, but they should always count money back out to the customer, not slack under pressure. They were moving on to the next customer quicker than I could take the money and put it in my pocket.

I think this is a great store. Masks are required to shop and I personally witnessed 3 different people not wearing a mask around 5:30..primetime shopping. Why is this not enforced by management??? Everyone is at risk, don't loose your loyal customers over this!

I didn't feel like cooking so I stopped and got fried chicken and a few other items. I don't know who they have back there cooking but I hope that they keep them. Tender, juicy, and delicious. Even the chicken breast was moist. I will be getting it again.

Stopped shopping here since Walmart showed up and just assumed they couldn't compete with them but went in today for something quick and saw their prices are actually very competitive with Walmart. Apparently they have had to drop their prices so they can stay in the game. The Food Lion staff has always been very friendly and helpful so now I'm glad I don't have to go to Walmart and battle through that crowd every time I need groceries.

Horrible store closed before the appointed time. They closed at 10:09 pm and on the website it clearly said 11pm. I just needed some milk for my baby I worked late and didn't realize he was almost out. Got there and there was a guy standing to the door waving his hand under his neck I asked was the store closed he stood for a second and looked at me before he finally opened the door and said they was close. Worse customer service ever!!
