We took out 65 lb German shepherd here. The made her smell great and took good care of her. They are big dog friendly. Definitely will go back.

Our dog Charlie, is a rescue and a Keeshond sheltie mix. So when he plays outside he brings the backyard in with him on his tail, and every part of his fur imaginable. They did such a great job brushing him and trimming him up. Charlie was happy to see us but he strutted out of there. Like he knew how good he looked. Staff was knowledgeable and professional. More importantly they were great with him.

Georgie’s grooming yesterday was a disaster!!!Salty Dog is the most unprofessional and incompetent groomer I’ve ever come across!!!Georgie was dropped off at 9:30 and should’ve been ready by 3:30, 4 the latest. When I got there at 4:15 the owner informed me that he would be ready in an hour, mind you they close at 4:30…. Unacceptable excuses. She was having a tough day blah blah … she’s going through a divorce , blah blah blah … so Georgie was just washed, dried, nails slightly trimmed, and a slight trim ….Needless to say we’re never going back. Our 4 month old puppy was so stressed and traumatized, me and my husband noticed immediately when I got home, he developed cherry eye on both eyes! It was heartbreaking!!! Of course, when we called the owner to confront her with this, she claimed he was like that before drop-off, which is a blatant lie! Now he will need surgery, which according to todays vet consultation, will run over $1000! Pure NEGLIGENCE, and lack of sympathy from this owner, as we now attempt to try to comfort our puppy the best we can, in a now sudden stressful situation.

I took our sweet girl Lily there to get all beautiful again since she was looking really shaggy! Well she came home looking beautiful and sassy as ever! And a good price with everything including her nails trimmed! We will definitely be back!

Megan did such an incredible job with our two crazy babies! We were very worried about bringing them to a groomer, but she assured us that she would take great care of them and not to worry. Not only did they come out looking better than ever, but inside they were taken care of very well, in her very clean facility with extra cute touches. We will be back for sure!

Megan is amazing! Super nice and personable! It was my rescue dogs first grooming appointment, she got me in same day after he jumped into a gulleyhe seemed nervous at first but when I came back to pick him up he was so happy, tail wagging ears perky, he even gave Megan kisses.She did an outstanding job, very happy I took him too her

We absolutely LOVE this place!! Our sweet baby, Eliza, is groomed here once a month. We’ve tried the top groomers in Conway and this one is the BEST! Prices are reasonable, shop is clean, and they are open on Saturday (which really helps me out). Most importantly, Eliza is handled with love and care. She always leaves happy, pampered, and looking fantastic! I couldn’t ask for more!

We’ve taken our dog to here a few times. The first time they didn’t groom him like we asked, the owner called to apologize for the issue. She seemed nice 2nd time was very good. 3rd time took forever for them to return our call ( 4-6 weeks) but we thought they know how we like our dog groomed. Since it took so long for them to return call had to cut him a little short. Scheduled a year of appointments. Well here’s where things go way wrong. Gentleman a counter said just think he needs a trim not the full groom. Well we go to pick him up and we’re charged the full groom. Told lady (THE OWNER) at counter that gentleman said we would be charged for just a trim. She said he was scheduled for full groom and that’s what I did. Told her to check with the gentleman she said he’s home probably eating dinner I’m not going to call him. She then said you’re just trying to get out of paying. Paid full price ask her to bring him out and OMG SHE BUTCHERED HIM CUT HIM TO THE SKIN. I would never take a animal there as long as the owner is the same. The other workers are great but this lady is the worst. Please pass this along to other people because it will happen if the owner grooms your pets.

Words can not explain what a great experience we had with Salty Dog Salon & Spa! I was very nervous to take Bella to a grooming salon again because she always was upset/nervous when I dropped her off and picked her up. I figured I would give a different salon a shot and my only regret is not starting with them to begin with! Our havanese had an absolute amazing experience! From the moment I dropped her off, I knew it was going to be great with them because of how personable they were. They actually take the time to talk about what you would like done and care about your dog like you would! They took such good care of her and took it very slow because she was a bit nervous. She has the cutest cut and she came back to us smelling delicious! She also was wagging her tail the whole way home and that truly made my day! So glad I can finally find my puppy’s forever salon!

We took our dog, Sam (lab/Pitt mix) and we're very happy with the results. Clean facility, friendly staff. Sam seemed very comfortable there (he is usually very apprehensive at the groomers). We have scheduled his 2nd visit. We recommend Salty Dog to anyone who's looking for a good groomer. Also, added bonus... reasonably priced!

We have been on the road traveling for over a year with our wonderful Goldendoodle Bailey Rae. One of our biggest challenges on the road is finding a reliable and good groomer for our girl. We haven’t had very many good experiences with people who knew how to cut golden doodles correctly. I have never written a review before, but felt compelled to write this one because I am so happy with the care and job Megan and Amanda did on our girl. They really took the time to listen to our concerns and apprehensiveness when making the appointment which really made us feel comfortable in choosing them to take care of our girl. Thanks so much for the beautiful job you did. My only regret is we will be back on the road next week and won’t be able to return.. I would highly recommend this shop they are great.

We were referred to Meghan by our new neighbors. We just moved from Oregon; our 13 year old Bichon had only one groomer since birth so we were reading recommendations very closely. We chose Salty Dog based upon lots of great reviews and speaking with Meghan. She listened. To concerns about his arthritis, old age warts and previous knee surgeries. Our expectations were fulfilled and the results were amazing. Rocco was actually calmer when we picked him up and his cut was absolutely the best! The process was easy and personal customer service was epic! We are able to schedule his next appointment online and Rocco has found his new stylist 😊

Megan is awesome! It was so great to get a next day appt due to my procrastination. I love the no cage concept while my dogs werewaiting to be groomed or waiting to be picked up! Megan was extremely nice over the phone and in person. I noticed how clean the shop was and sweetly decorated. The most important part of this review is to say how great my dogs looked. I was very pleased. George and Charlie will be back.

Our elderly Shitzhu is not easy to groom, yet Tracy was able to groom him quickly, thoroughly, and without cuts or problems. Paulie's cut is great! The facility is clean, spacious and your pup can roam freely, which I prefer versus crating for convenience. This is my fav groomers thus far in Myrtle Beach/Conway and I will return.

After learning of my former groomer's passing Megan was able to get my 2 little ones in the same day. She did such a wonderful job and we were able to observe her tending to my guys. She's very special and treats her furry clients lovingly and professionally. We've definitely found a good groomer.

We are so pleased with the Salty Dog Salon & Spa. Our dog gets a bit anxious with grooming. When I spoke with the owner explaining our concern, she was very responsive. We gave them a try. They did a beautiful job grooming my Goldendoodle, and he seemed very willing to go back the next time. It is clear that the folks there are true animal lovers and advocates. They are excellent at what they do. They are our new, favorite groomer.

We brought our three shaggy small dogs to S. D. and were amazed how pretty they look now! Megan was terrific with them (especially our senior “hospice” girl) and I’ve never seen them look and smell so nice. 10/10 would recommend!

This was Lexi second time there. The first time the guy did not shave her feathers. She’s a golden retriever. Then they shaved her belly. She does smell really good. We were a little disappointed this time. Cuz we are new the area.

I brought my two girls to The Salty Salon Dog Spa.Megan the owner is such a wonderful ,pleasant person. Her knowledge and her abilities are outstanding . She goes out of her way to come and greet you and meet your pet, she asks questions about you animals and makes you feel so comfortable before you drop them off. My dogs loved to play in the dog play pen. They came home so excited and slept so nice that night.Megan texted me as soon as my girls were done. So I knew I could pick them up at anytime.I am recommending this to everyone I knowGreat place Megan.

It was necessary to find a new groomer and after researching and reading reviews Megan owner of Salty Dog Salon & Spa sounded great! I also decided to wait before writing a review to see how the girls responded. The conclusion...wonderful...the girls (5 yorkies..1 still a baby)..look absolutely gorgeous...feel and smell very clean and their hair cuts no complaints! Like the fact that they are able to walk around and not be stressed with caging! So our vote is YES!...your fur babies will love being at the Salty Dog!

Megan is a great groomer, have been using her for about 4 years now at her salon and before. Her new shop is clean and very nice (Conway, SC). Have never had any problems with my pet under her care.

I took my rottie puppy 6 months old here. ever since she went here she will not let me give her a bath or anywhere even near her feet to cut her nails. before I took her here I was giving her a bath every 2 to 3 weeks and cutting her nails once a month. they told me they couldn’t cut her nails and she was too nippy she’s never nipped at me until after she went here not sure what happened here but they told me 2 hours she would be done 3 1/2 hours later when I call they said she will be done in 15 min but they didn’t dry her and then when I got there they never cut her nails either. I am one person to read reviews before I go somewhere and they had awesome reviews i’d you have a big dog I suggest not bringing them from assumptions they are only good for little dogs. hopefully I will soon be able to get my dog back to herself and she will let me do it myself. never will I trust people with my little baby again. THANKS!
