Well the courtesy is outstanding. They're never too busy to help a customer especially seniors. The manager actually was on his knees on a bottom shelf trying to find the tea that I wanted they were indeed out but he reassured me it would come in tomorrow. It doesn't matter whether it's the manager or a new employee they are willing to stop what they're doing and help the customer that's wonderful for me being new I don't know where anything is and they make it easy

Cashier name Kris I think is his name is so good with his job he keeps it fun and respectful. everyday I’ve been there and he was there I never left without a smile..thank you food-lion for your most polite customers.

For the only local food store around it's okay. People are nice. You can pick up your everyday items & meats are pretty good. there are times that certain things are out of stock. It's not my favorite place, but then i dont expect them to be like Kroger, Lowes Foods or Fresh Market.

Great Store. I shop here regularly. Well stocked always have what I need. Aside from the occasional 1 or 2 that never last long, the employees are always friendly and willing to help. Store is clean. No complaints!

Here's what you can expect at this location... ONLY ONE FULL SERVICE REGISTER OPEN at almost all times, LONG WAIT TIMES, and a SELF CHECKOUT LINE SO LONG THAT IT RUNS HALFWAY DOWN THE LENGTH OF THE FOOD AISLE. This store needs to open more registers during a rush, instead of just leaving it up to customers to check themselves out.I worked at a grocery store in high school and college, as both a cashier and customer service. It is customary that when it is busy and there are long lines that the store opens up more registers to reduce the lines and get the customers out during a rush. This is the closest grocery store to my house, so it is my regular store and I have been here multiple times. I think it is terrible that during the weekend at some of the busiest times, such as Sunday after church they have no more than 2 registers open. Usually the one full service register has literally a line so long it goes halfway down the shopping isle, and then the line for self check out is just as long, if not longer.I believe this is terrible customer service and terrible management, especially when there are associates walking around, associates stocking shelves, etc. Point being is that there are NOT registers closed due to lack of associates. Not only are they are not opening registers, but instead they are not even bothering to call associates up front to open registers and reduce the lines. They are simply leaving it up to customers and expecting them to do it themselves. This forces customers with towering carts to check out at self-checkout, making the self checkout line that much longer...It is almost impossible to get in and out of this store quickly even when you have only one or two items to purchase. It is terrible that it is literally impossible to get out of this food lion in less than 10 minutes even with just one item being purchased.They need better management to enforce policies to reduce traffic and congestion that could easily be helped by making a few improvements, if not prevented completely by implementing changes.

2/7/2023 Stopped in for a few items. The store was rather busy.The plexiglass is still up at registers. No masks required. It seems the store is able to get in more stock now.Previous visit...Food Lion was great.They have some self checkouts set up now!It was not too busy.The staff was courteous.They are following covid procedures wearing their masks. Not too many customers wearing them though.I got a few snacks and a few boneless pork loins that were on sale.

If I had only one way to describe food Lion it would be like when you were growing up and you knew that one guy in the neighborhood that always had everything you needed but didn't have enough of it and it was always in the wrong place but he's old school and you respect them that's how I would describe it. Been there a long time but still wears the same dirty clothes..

Very disappointed in online pickup service. Not only were they sold out of everything. There was no one to bring out my groceries. I did this order so I didn't have to bring a 2-year-old in the store! I guess you should of not kept the times open if you don't have someone to do the job! Maybe one of the managers that walk around could actually work.

This one is right by my house, and is a great store. It's a little expensive on some items but they have sales on items all the time that are awesome!!Very clean everyone is really nice except for one woman but other than her everyone I'd great. Especially the deli/bakery. The supervisor has gone out of her way to look for an item that wasn't on the shelf. Over all a great place to shop.

Shopping at the 4th street food lion can be hit or miss. There have been plenty of times they have let me down; not having the product I need, not communicating substitutions or refunds for pickup orders, and issues with the app. Once every few months is seems someone will mess up and not label my order properly and it doesn't make it to my car and I don't notice till I get home and have to call and go back out to get it; which is annoying and inconvenient. However I wanted to take a minute to say that the current customer service manager Kevin is and has been doing a wonderful job. The last 2 times my order has been missing she has taken it upon herself to personally make sure it gets corrected to my satisfaction and completely acknowledge my frustration with the situation. Even going as far as telling me item by item what is being put into my car so I can crosscheck it without a single vibe of annoyance or complaint on her part. So I came here to publicly say thank you for doing such a great job and making your customers feel cared for.

I am visiting South Carolina from New York state for the first time to care for my sister who is ill. I came to pickup some items, my sister gave me the wrong pin for her card, and I was going to have to come back with my own card. I will only say that the manager showed me what Southern hospitality and real human kindness looks like. I LOVE SOUTH CAROLINA !! I LOVE THE FOOD LION!!!

Up north we used Shop Rite mostly. The one thing we miss is a lobster tank. Food Lion is always clean and helpful employees. The one thing that is in short supply are long term employees in the deli, but I can safely say that most retailers have this problem. One last thing...can someone please get some hard rolls, Portuguese rolls (popular in RI), etc. Please!!!

We moved to Conway just 5 months ago and looked in on the Food Lion in town. We were not thrilled by the store so we headed out to this one on 4th Ave. / 701. Very clean, the staff was extremely helpful when I was looking for odd grocery items, was escorted and shown where they were. This store is slightly out of my way, but have returned there for most of my bulk groceries.

I love Food Lion. The store is always very well stocked. Vegetables and fruit are fresh and look appealing. Management is always very helpful if you see them in the store along with the other employees. Prices are as reasonable as can be expected in this period of rising costs. There is always plenty of registers open with cashiers not all self serve like many stores today. They even have baggers! I am handicapped and use a cane. Someone always offers to take my groceries to the car and put them in for me. Many times this has been the Management. Now that's service with a smile!

Best Food Lion in this area by far! Amazingly clean, rarely ever out of stock of what you need. Staff willing to help and happy to do so. Parking lot is a bit crazy just don't daze off when waking to and from your car.

This is probably the worst store in the chain. In store customers are simply in the way of staff and everyone is basically rude. Have spent a lot of money at this store and am now willing to drive to other stores.

First time ever in this store! Just moved to the community 2 weeks ago. The gentleman who orders for the whole store asked if he could help me find anything as I passed him stocking shelves - guess I looked puzzled for sure. When I told him I was new to the community he excitedly welcomed me and we chatted a bit, as he continued his work again said to ask him of I needed any help!The cashier was from a state neighboring my former home state and in our new state for only 3 weeks but was as cordial and helpful as the ordering director!The store is clean, organized, with filled shelves! It was a pleasant shopping experience and the Southern charm filled the place! Prices were very good, too!Appreciate and love the store that will surely be my go- to store!
