The female cashier with the dark brown bob and glasses at around 10:35AM screamed at me like I was stealing and trying to keep walking. I must have used the wrong pin or and expired card using Apple Pay, I mean she screamed at me so loud everyone in the store looked at her and I, it was very embarrassing and unprofessional. She kind of had a crazy look on her face, it was very odd I have never been treated like that before nor have I ever seen that happen so dramatically

I really enjoy shopping at Food Lion. I get good quality and good prices. The pros are that it's a clean and friendly place. My only gripe is they don't carry Crystal Geyser water, which means I have to go to another supermarkett and split the grocery shopping

Clean and very organized. Friendly staff hardly any wait time in line. They have self checkouts but there's always a cashier waiting to check you out.

I love Food Lion in general because they have some of the lowest prices on groceries. But the 501 location is definitely my favorite even if the interior isn't as fancy as some of the others in our area. It just has a good vibe and makes you feel comfortable, even when it's really busy. The store and bathrooms are always clean, and the staff are all really friendly. Their produce is top notch too, and they're good about removing anything that's past its prime. They also do a good job of keeping the shelves well stocked. During Covid and last year's supply issues I would come specifically to this location to get my produce. Then, when name brand products weren't being supplied to stores I noticed that this Food Lion in particular outsourced anything they could from alternative manufacturers. So instead of leaving entire sections empty like other stores, they filled the shelves with lesser known brands. I would rather have crackers from some brand I've never heard of, than have NO crackers at all. The only time I've ever noticed an empty spot is when they first open for the day, and it's only because they haven't finished putting everything out yet. Hands down one of the best grocery stores in town!

This store is convenient due to its location but I have constant problems with moldy produce, expired items, broken lids, leaking vacuum-sealed seafood, etc. I've never had to return as many items as I do to this store. Very annoying. There's also a weird man with an electric wheelchair who likes to park in the handicap spot & verbally harass every woman who walks by. I only come to FL for the Dubliner cheddar and they can't seem to stock it anymore so I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I will never shop at the 501 food lion again and I will tell everyone about them. My husband went to the deli Saturday morning and asked to have turkey sliced. No one was waiting in line and the two girls were just gossiping. She told my husband she didn’t have time to deal with what he wants, just find something at the presliced area. Then the girl at the register was awfully sat as Tito him. He just asked about a price that was rung up. She told him: are we going to ask for the price of everything I ring up. I can’t believe how rude these employees are. I highly recommend going to the 544 Conway store. Results are like night and day. They are so helpful and friendly there. Those employees at 501 need to be fired and or retrained. Very upset.

Some of the produce wasn't as good as I hoped it would be, also there's a surprising number of empty shelves, as well as things we expected to be there that weren't. The bakery department and prepared foods was very small. The store was neat and clean, and the people are all very nice.

This is a good food lion. It's big, nice, and always clean, but they are one of the first to run out of things . I'm a little cautious about going there only bc of the being out of stock issue. Otherwise, employees are always super nice!

8/5/23 i don't usually go to this food lion. It is near Conway Medical Center. The store was really nice.. The cashiers were waiting, greeting, the customers..Someone actually paid for my groceries...very sweet young lady! Thank you!Previous visit: Just stopped in for a few items.The cashier was very pleasant.

This food lion stays busy. Usually have to drive around to find somewhere to park. They do pretty good keeping the store stocked. Always have atleast 5 or 6 registers open. Depending on time of day the lines could be pretty long. Cashiers are always friendly.

I love the employees but the prices are a little much. Also, the Human Rights political sticker on the door is concerning. Especially since the HRC attacks Christians.

I am a native of Myrtle Beach and I think I've shopped all the grocery stores and have found the best food for the best prices (especially the meats) consistently. Also they have the best selection of frozen vegetables. It's rare to find a good selection of vegetables in a clear package for inspection before purchase. The stores are impeccably clean and the bathrooms are well taken care of. The staff are above average and are mostly cheerful and eager to help.

It's OK there. Prices are good, inventory is good. Now, I just had another visit to a different Food Lion. My new favorite place for groceries. End of International Drive turn right at Circle K, go a mile or so. It's in a plaza on the left. This is a big place, lots of great stuff, good inventory, not many sparse shelves. Boy have they stepped up their game. Better than Publix, Lowe's or Kroger.

I do most of my shopping here and I have to say,the food is always fresh and the staff is extremely kind, patient (I'm disabled)and super helpful. If I have any problem whatever, they either replace it or refund my money.l buy the store brand pretty often,and they will give you double your money back, but I haven't been honestly not content with the product. Sometimes I like it better than what I am used to buying.I recommend shopping here, just sign up for the card and watch for sales, they give an awesome discount with the card,and for getting the coupons at the machine at the door. It takes more money off stuff that's already on sale.✌️

Since the remodel when they increased their selection of goods it remains better stocked than a couple of the Bigger chains, less empty sections. It is organized and they seem pretty good at keeping it clean and neat. Unfortunately the bakery still has not expanded leaving Publix as the best bakery in the area. Overall it's a good store and many items are competitively priced especially when in sale.

Went to this location at 501 and Singleton Ridge Rd after picking up food from Spice C. Was in and out quick. Plenty of registers open which is nice to see. Grabbed some deli meat from the deli.

I shop here every Sunday. I'm so discouraged with the deli. You have people in there working and 5 of us can be at the counter waiting for someone to help us. You can say can I get some help. No body will help. My husband got so tired of it he started picking up the pre sliced packages at the deli. I have told the one lady in there she is the deli manager. She said she is working on it. But if she's not there then don't like helping you.

Convenient location, fair amount of selection. My main ire is the prices. 2 dollars for one pear does not seem at all reasonable. I know they boast "fresh produce" but I don't think anything could warrant that much money for such a common and typically cheap fruit. Store is a bit confusedly laid out, cluttered, and even slightly cramped at times. Overall not bad bit definitely taking advantage of the "convenience".

Purchased some sale items, and did not notice until I got home they I had basically been cheated out of $10. Contacted corporate b/c I couldn't get in touch with anyone at store, was told they could not find a transaction nor my MVP number. I took a picture of my receipt and card and sent in a reply email to the person who had contacted me. Not the first time this happened, but it IS the look at time it will happen to me.

My view of the store has changed because of our visit today. We stopped there because my husband and I forgot to pick up a pregnancy test when food shopping at Walmart. Needless to say we won't be back. There was no self checkout so we had to go to a cashier. I put the test on the belt and she goes "uh-oh". Made me feel super judged. Then my husband told me when we got in the car she gave him a dirty look. We weren't wearing our rings but that shouldn't matter! A cashier should be friendly, not judgemental!

Although not the biggest store, the store does the best it can during covid-19. Recently went through remodel which made it that much better. Store is always clean ,bathrooms are always clean, employees are always Pleasant, the new manager does well. Always patronize this store.

I was highly impressed at how clean the store it's self was. I was also really excited when I saw my total drop $12 at the register!! Savings here are great! Def one of my favorite stores to shop in.
