I went to pay on my credit card from big lots for the first time today. I said to the lady working the register (Denise) I here to pay on my big lots credit card.She replied: You can’t pay that here.I said: Ok ma’am where can I pay it?I got a death stare instead of answers.If that’s how you treat your customers at Conway Big Lots then I will not be going back.

I hadn't been to a Big Lots in many years. I was impressed with how they have transitioned their stores. They look a lot more modern inside and sell a lot of living g room and bedroom furniture.

11/17/23 The store still has some really cute items at great prices!6/23/23 The furniture department seems to get larger each time I go in there.I wished they had delivery for the furniture.I picked up a few items today. Business was steady.3/9/2023 I got a few items.BIG Lots had some really cute Easter items.Some of the furniture was on CLEARANCE!The store was rather busy. The employees were helpful and friendly.12/15/22Really cute Christmas gifts! Great prices!6/23/22Great store, affordable prices!They have some really cute home decor items! Great buys!

Very friendly people helped me with a couch purchase. Witnesses an altercation between a manager and customer that was unnecessary. The mgr told this woman she couldn’t have a book bag in their store when it was clearly a diaper bag. The mgr made the customer very uncomfortable and made on-lookers uncomfortable as well. The customer should not have been bothered. She even had a child in a stroller with her. When the customer asked for a written policy on Big lots view of “book bags” the mgr said he couldn’t give her one. I don’t know if it was racially motivated or not but it was very unprofessional.

Loved a living room set our daughter and son in law have from Big Lots. Decided to look for it and found a sale besides! Went to store to check it out in person again snd had a great sales associate who helped us.

The cashier was friendly, efficient and kind. The manager on the other hand was not. There was a price issue on 2 items only to be yelled at in front of a crowd line that these items were not included on the sale. The cashier and I assumed someone must of just laid them in the area. He needs to be promoted to manager handles guest service issues with class. He even apologized.

Walked in about 5 before closing time, automatic doors were still opening. At 7:05 A store associate comes and tells me the store is now closed and I have to leave without purchasing what I had picked out. When I get to the door the guy that unlocked it for me asked if I didn’t hear them announce over the speaker that the store is closing. I told him I did not and that when I walked in the doors were still open and they should’ve checked me out for the 3 items o had in My hand. The guy gave me an attitude and I just walked out.

Stopped in to waste some time and browsed around. Saw some cutting boards that were 7.99 so I picked them up and brought 4 to the cashier to buy. They came up as 9.99 and I mentioned they pricing. They had someone else look and just told me they were all in the wrong spot. It is what it is but I remember back in the day when businesses honored their mistakes. That shouldn't be on the customer. Anyways low quality stuff and fairly cheap prices.

Terrible experience in the Conway South Carolina branch. I will go to the Myrtle area and see if that’s any better. I was interested in an artificial Christmas tree I didn’t see one one the floor and they were all discounted at 30 % off I had to ask for assistance to try to find the one I liked. A managerial young female came out from out back of the store. She had told me the only one available was the floor model the 30%discount did not apply for this model nor any other discount. She started breaking down the tree in a hurry and I asked if it came with a box with a rude response of NO a 300$ tree shoved in a cart no thank you. The manager was rude in a hurry and just didn’t want to give any service. I won’t be going back.

I like to shop Big Lots. But let me tell you..........do not order furniture from this store. They do not have a lot of the stuff that's on the floor in stock so it has to be ordered. They said it would be 4-8 weeks initially. Well, it's week 20 & still no furniture. I get told something different by everyone I talk to. Keep getting the run around. I called the toll free number & the district manager was suppossed to be calling me that was a week ago. I am getting my money back. By the way I don't believe for one minute it's covid's fault.

This store has made huge improvements. It is clean, well organized, has some pretty nice merchandise and some of the friendliest most helpful people. The bathroom i went into was clean and no unpleasant odor. It is very apparent that this store has tightened up their act and is well managed now.

I went round and round with these people for 2 days and walked away with nothing but an inquiry on my credit report and an expired coupon that's now useless. There were 3 beds I wanted to purchase while taking advantage of the 12 months interest free program that they claim to offer. I went into the store and waited for 15 minutes before an associate finally attempted to assist me. He went on to tell me that they don't have any of the beds that I was looking to purchase and couldn't even pull up 2 of them in his computer system, even though I showed him the items for sale on the Big Lots' website from my phone. I left the store a bit frustrated. Later, I called customer service to try and get resolve because I still wanted to make purchase. I had a coupon that would expire the next day. The lady did try to help me make the purchase online until we ran into another issue. There were some items that would not ship. My choices were to drive to 2 different locations more than 25 miles away or pay $150 for delivery. Reluctantly, I decided to make the drive to pick up the items. I went online to apply for the credit card to take advantage of the 12 months interest free promotion. I was approved but was told by customer service management (Adam) that I could not use the card to make an online purchase and they would not give me a card number in order to do so. They told me I could make a purchase in the store with a sales associate. This was not helpful due to the fact that the store associate could not even access 2 of the items that I was trying to purchase. I walked away with an expired coupon, no card, no beds, and no satisfactory answer. It's now 4 days later and I have yet to receive a card. Big Lots....please do better!

It was actually pretty clean and organized. Most Big Lots I have gone into are just dirty and stuff just put wherever. The staff was very polite and told me multiple times if I needed help to just let them know. Very pleasant visit. Will come back.

This is the nicest and cleanest Big Lots I've ever been to. It's well organized and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When you change your address through the post office they send you a packet with coupons and Big Lots gives you a 20 percent off one in that packet. You can use it to buy new furniture and rugs and everything you need for your new home. They let me use my coupon multiple times!

I just browsed around for 4 hours straight... after sitting in the parking lot for 2 like a creeper🤣. I was the only customer so I had the run of it! Shelves are pretty bare but the furniture is on point. Lord, please get me out of my house more than once every 5 months.....🤯🤪Update; everything is terribly overpriced and 80% of merchandise doesn't have a pricetag on it or displayed on shelf. Waste of time bringing things up to be price checked every 10 minutes.

Depends on what you are looking for but they have really cleaned the place up. Quite a few furniture options with fair prices. Not so much "junk" to shop for anymore. That sort of bummed me out but then again its not like I went for any one specific thing when they sold junk stuff and I never left with much either. Today I was very impressed with their spring selection..like wow impressed. Gazebos, solar stuff..all I can say is I will for sure go back and do some shopping for my yard when I am ready to decorate for spring.

Poorly stocked. Few prices. Asked at checkout and told it was a stockroom problem, yet when I asked stocker, he shrugged his shoulders at me. Had almost 100.00 in my cart. Left buying only two things with posted price. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
