I came in with a matted, angry little dog and left with a handsome gentleman. I cannot recommend Michelle enough. My dog hadn't been professionally groomed in 2 years, he's a rescue that had to be sedated at intake because of how resistant he was and we were turned away from another less professional groomer because of his aversion. But Michelle was quick and gentle and patient and by the end he was calm and trusted her, although we had a bit of struggle due to his anxiety. 10/10 experience! Legitimately amazing pro!

I brought my dog to be groomed here and as we were trying to drop her off, the lady was so rude and angry. She would turn around and yell and the dogs then proceeded to use a SHOCK COLLAR on them simply for Barking too much.It was a very small area for so many dogs to be kept in these kennels, it's going to be loud, if she can't handle the noise, she should be in a different profession.

Michelle is a very kind hearted person who is AMAZING with all Dogs! Cooper(german Shepherd, Husky, Lab mix) has high anxiety away from our home but he goes right into her shop and lets Michelle groom him without any issue. I cannot even trim his nails in between visits, and he lets her do it without a fight. I would highly recommend her Wags to Whiskers to anyone!

It's been a frustrating experience because Michelle is such a talented groomer. Our dog Lucy can be a handful, and I've appreciated the patience she's shown with her...when appointments are kept. I'm always reluctant to leave a negative review as I know it can affect someone's livelihood. We have driven out of our way from Greenwood for the last two appointments only to have a cancellation hours before the actual appointment. This has been part of an ongoing trend. Thumbing through texts, I'd estimate 40-50% of our Saturday appointments have been rescheduled over the past two years. I've tolerated it because I know life happens for a small business owner, but communication has been lacking and "life" seems to happen so often that I no longer think it a coincidence. We make appointments so that we can reliably make plans; I should not have to make back-up plans for every appointment we schedule. Today's cancellation may be legit, but it's part of a pattern that I can no longer support.If you can tolerate constant schedule changes, then yes, you should go here. Again, Michelle is extremely talented and does excellent work. It's frustrating because we want to continue working with her, but it's been too much, too often for us to continue to do so.

I have a large dog that has a double coat and is constantly shedding. He is old 13 and has difficulty standing for long periods. He has gotten to be too much for me to groom. These girls did a wonderful job and I would recommend them to anyone. What lifesavers they are.

Immediately Michelle picked up and made me feel valued. I was booked for my fur babies appointment within two weeks.At arrival the instant bond between Michelle's professional approach and my baby girls (Lab/Pit rescue) instantly removed all concerns... she truly has an amazing gift! Wags to Whiskers always gets my Pup so clean, shiny, smells so good, nails cut, and gets rid of all the shedding hair. My Shiba Inu hates to be washed so it was difficult for me to wash him myself. I am so grateful for the wonderful work Wags to Whiskers do for my dog! Thank you!

Love going here to get my dogs nails trimmed. The owner does a great job at making my crazy chihuahuas more calm during the experience. Prices are also very affordable, highly recommend!

Michelle was great with both the dogs I brought in. The dogs looked good and were happy - and I even learned a few things! Thank you very much. Highly recommended.That was a year ago. I have brought Kirby back a few times. She doesn't really require much grooming and I am on a bit of a budget. Would bring her more because she enjoys it so much. Speaking of budget, Michelle is very very reasonably priced and you get great value there. Bonus: your dog loves it! I also take other people's dogs there on occasion (the people are older and staying in) and the owners are always happy. You really should try this place. Once you locate it, it's great.

Took our Shepherd Mix to get groomed because PetSmart was booked for over a month. Highly satisfied with this groomer! We will no longer be taking our baby to PetSmart. He is usually very shy towards new people and he did great with her. He usually doesn’t allow groomers to dremel his nails or blow dry his coat and he allowed her to do both! We are very happy with the service here!Also very reasonably priced!

Update: For the past few months my poor pup has been seeing the chiropractor at Pets Inc, because of chronic pain and neck spasms. They have been so bad that more than once we considered putting him down. I'm very sure that the incident below contributed greatly to his problems. His neck is so stiff he cries when he moves, EVEN NOW, and its been like that for months. Please, don't leave your pet if you choose to go to wags and whiskers! I'm spending thousands of dollars to deal with her damage. Otherwise, I'll have to say goodbye to my best friend!My regular groomer was having health issues, and this business was convenient to physical therapy last year. My first impression: I asked if she could handle both my rescue dogs who had "Issues" - chihuahua and pekingese. She gold me she knew how to be alpha--would be no problem. I don't know her definition, but both dogs proved her wrong when each was groomed. With my regular groomer having another health issue, I returned to her yesterday with my peke--I can't count her eyerolls in the half hour I was there and able to witness. This isn't professional, lady. I think she needs another profession. Last time, she asked me to leave my dog's sight because I was causing him distress. (she later came to get me to help her with him). I stayed out of site this time, but listened as she trimmed my dog and talked with her mother about her personal problems. My dog was naturally fighting it and complaining vocally--he doesn't like anybody (even me) touching his paws. I finally couldn't handle hearing agony and every time I called out to come help she ignored me and kept talking to her mom. I saw my dog pulling hard against the leash on the table--so much so he was choking himself. I put my hands on his throat and pushed him against the leash. Then his sounds were audible--and she actually said "why are so vocal now?" She ignored my response "he was choking himself!" I asked her for a towel to put over his head while she cut his front paws and another eyeroll. My dog's tongue was hanging halfway to the floor and I asked her about water. She stomps out the door, returns with a cold bottle of water and announces that she doesn't have a bowl. She turns to her mother and her boyfriend and tells them that "I don't offer water or food--they lead to peeing and pooping." I told her I'd use my hand as a bowl. My dog clearly needed water. [insert my internal eyeroll here. I'm adult enough to control those actions.] She, again, thinking she's the professional, took him from me and bathed him. By now, my dog is having nothing to do with her and just wanted out the building. After the bath, she put him on the floor. I picked him up and in the most negative, hateful tone she said to my dog, "You're not getting your front nails cut today." I'll NEVER recommend her to anybody. Worst attitude and not in tune with dog's behavior and how to properly handle it.

Called Michelle on a whim today because my lab mix refused to let anyone touch his nails for a while so they were talons. She told me to come in about an hour later. She picked him up, put him in the bath tub and went. To. Town. She got all his nails and cleaned his ears 10000x quicker than anyone ever had. He cried the whole time (big baby) and she handled it so well. I’ll be using her from now for everything! Thank you!!!

I tried calling this business because I'm really struggling to find a regular groomer to use on a consistent basis that isn't already booked for months and wasn't even able to make it 2 minutes into the conversation with the woman who answered. I simply asked at first if they were taking new clients and that I was looking for a regular groomer that would be long term. There was a very long pause before responding and all she had to say for an answer was "yeah...what do you want?" with a tone so annoyed that I was calling her that I just knew immediately this wasn't a business I wanted to deal with. Don't even bother calling this place. They can't be bothered to help you.
