I want to commend 2 employees at Sandhills... Bernita Streater could not have given me more excellent customer service in a very complicated situation. She listened carefully, was friendly, empathetic, helpful and efficient. After many issues with an online order, she is the reason I will continue to shop at this Home Depot. I also want to commend Christopher Rice for his part in helping solve my problems. I can also say that I was given some recompense for the delivery issues that occurred in a manner that satisfied my complaints. I was surprised, because I've never had that kind of service from another company. I will be loyal to this branch due to excellent customer service.

Purchased an LG dryer through Home Depot. What a mistake. Unit arrived DOA, and customer service has been less than helpful getting it repaired or replaced. Day 4 before the two "LG" technicians arrived, these are simply 2 men who subcontract as delivery men, not actual LG employees who could troubleshoot and replace parts. They sent the Depot the same report I gave them its DOA. Day 7 and I still have the same dead dryer sitting here. Thanks Home Depot for your quick and thoughtful resolution to this. At least I know now to purchase from another retailer in the future. Beware consumer Home Depot is not responsible for the items it sells.

Re: Very poor curbside pick-up customer service. My order #WJ52341427; waited over 30-min after “checking-in” and telling them what curbside pick-up space I was in (#3). Called into customer service & complained but since their actions didn’t support their words, my wife went in and got the 5-boxes herself and delivered them curbside. Said the HD associates claimed they were busy…funny how there were a number of “associates” in the parking lot gathering up carts… Guess another lesson learned to commit to my memory. Only positive thing I can say about HD is they are a tad better than Lowes but then that is not really saying much.

We came and grabbed all of our gardening items here and Cincere was so respectful and helpful ! Seriously appreciated this guy! We left a bag and he bought it right out to the car before we got out the parking lot. Amazing customer service

I used to love shopping at this store, but lately, my experiences have been disappointing. Every time I visit, it's difficult to find assistance, and when I do manage to locate someone, they appear disinterested and redirect me with a curt "this is not my department," without offering to find the right person to assist me. The customer service desk was also understaffed, with a long line of about 10 people waiting. When I tried calling for help, the phone rang for over 3 minutes before an associate answered and promptly hung up.Overall, I left feeling frustrated and unattended to. I decided to try Lowes instead, which turned out to be a much better experience. From now on, I'll be choosing Lowes for my home improvement needs.

If I could rate this place zero stars, I definitely would. Customer service is terrible. The manager of lumber is extremely rude and had sass that was just not needed. We came with a simple problem and it wasn’t even resolved. Now we have to stay up all night doing something they could’ve done in like two minutes, I do not recommend going to this place and we more than likely will not be returning.

Prices are good but don’t believe their site and workers aren’t that helpful. For 3 weeks I’ve tried to get something and it’s said “in stock” you get there and they say “if it says two in stock it’s out” so flawed system. Then they don’t help locate anything just point in a general direction and say “it’s over there or we don’t have it”

I went into the store and ordered a washer and dryer set they had on display. I had to wait almost 2 weeks for it to be delivered because they do not carry models in store for purchase and pick up. I received my washer and dryer, The delivery people which were a second or third party company handed me a paper as they brought the items in until me to look over the paper and make sure everything was correct and signed the bottom. After comparing model numbers on the paper to the machines and visually at first glance the items looked correct, But then I realized after opening the washing machine lid, that the item was not the correct one that we had ordered in the store. The person who placed the order in the store ordered the wrong models. After contacting home depot at the store I was told it pretty much sucked to be me because I signed the paper when they brought it I was stuck with what I got even though it is not what I wanted. I will never shop at the sand hills home depot again and I recommend to anybody else check what the employee is ordering make sure they are doing what you want and not just putting in wrong model numbers because they tell you there's nothing they can do once you sign that paper upon delivery.. They made the error and will do nothing to correct it. I wish there was a ZERO STAR REVIEW OPTION.

I have been buying from Home Depot for many many years. Love Bear paint. I have bought all my appliances from them and their customer service is great. I wish there was one in Sumter South Carolina because I have to drive 45 minutes to the Home Depot closest to me.

DO NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING ANYTHING FOR DELIEVERY. I ordered a few items for delievery to my house. Their delievery service is through a second hand service. (Sparks) The delievery driver couldn’t find my address (I’ve never had an issue receiving packages to this address) and instead of calling me, they sent it back to the store. I had no idea what was going on with my package so I calledHome Depot and several other numbers to try to figure what was going on with my order and every person I Called referred me to another number. Finally I found out it was sent back so I asked for a refund. I was told I would have to come to the store to either receive my refund or pickup my items even though I ordered online with my card. The reason I ordered online was because the store is quite aways from my house and I don’t have much time to get out that way. I don’t like leaving negative reviews and I like purchasing through Home Depot but this experience was aggravating.

They have very cheap Christmas trees, and they have good ones too. They are only looking to help you with getting the tree and will do whatever they can for your convenience. Very nice.

Maybe I'm being overly critical. But if I order something for curbside pickup, and I check-in for curbside pickup, I shouldn't have to go in to remind them that I'm there after 25 minutes of waiting with no contact (because they wouldn't answer the phone), then get told to pull up to the loading zone, only to wait another 25 minutes then finally an employee comes out and notices I look frustrated (because again, they werent answering their phone) and asked what I was waiting on. She was the only helpful person during this experience (and unfortunately I failed to catch her name). She tracked down the person that was supposedly bringing out my order, who apparently forgot what he was doing. Then directed me to the right area for them to load it in, and I still had to wait another 30 minutes before they even got my order to me because there was a "mixup" and my order got put back on the shelf 🤬 I don't have time to be waiting nearly an hour and a half for something that should have taken 15 minutes. That's the whole point of curbside pickup, so it can be prepared ahead of time and ready to go for those that have a busy schedule.

This one is disorganized. First visit the place was empty and waited 15min, somebody dropped the ball. Second time, we were told 20 min (Sunday Lunch), and it took 1h. They could not get their act together and least give us a good estimate update. Every additional "5 more minutes, please, turned into 1h. Never waited that long in any of the many locations around the country I visit periodically. Manager, please manage.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I’m literally sitting outside right now, I checked in for my curbside pick up nearly an hour ago. It’s like they’re playing chicken with me to see who’s going to give up first. For reasons, I don’t wish to disclose I cannot leave my car to go inside. I chose curbside for the convenience but clearly this store lacks any form of customer service. I’m highly disappointed as I frequent this store.DO NOT SHOP HERE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I have frequently went to home Depot for home projects. Today I had to return an item is was out a huge Item but I knew it was like $15 for the two items. I did not have the receipt but figured ot was put on my card or business card (I was wrong) only to find out that if the return without a receipt they only give you the lowest price they have ever sold the item. (Not 90 days EVER like 1996 prices) this is absolutely crazy way to make a buck! We will never go back just because that is wrong people do lose receipts in this case we did realize we used a gift card that is why it didn't come up in system. But I just feel this is horrible customer service.

I went to the paint department in the Home Depot of Columbia SC on Forum Dr... Mrs. Alice is absolutely wonderful! I'm not just saying that either. I had a highly disappointing experience earlier today, and running into Mrs. Alice; experiencing her sweet spirit, amazing attitude, and great customer service really made my day!!! If you're looking for a great service experience when you visit this Home Depot, find Alice!!!!! ❤️

We ordered windows and installation to the tune of $16,000. Two of the windows were ordered incorrectly and we are getting no response on when they will fix the issue. We also have two windows that don't operate like they're supposed to, along with another one that has a big hole on the edge of the screen. No one has responded to ANY of the communication we have put out over the past MONTHS trying to get this issue resolved. DO NOT BUY WINDOWS FROM HOME DEPOT.

Home Depot is much husband's favorite store. We are always working on some sort of project, whether it's in the house, wood working etc. It was time to upgrade his tool chest to a bigger one..and it went on sale from $800 to $500...we priced them everywhere else...Lowe's Harbor Freight etc...and they were WAYYY too much. Plus he got a military discount which knocked off a additional $50 ...so he is really happy!! And I am too because all his tools are in ONE location now instead of scattered around the garage! Thanks Home Depot!!

They sure don't make it easy to get your military discount they offer. If you don't sign up online then you're sol until you do. Everywhere else they can do it manually until you sign up. They've done it before, the program isn't new. However the cashier attempted to tell me the store just started offering it. She's either new and doesn't know so shouldn't have commented or she knew and didn't wanna bother. Either way, I'm going back to Lowe's.

In order for veterans and those in the military to use the discount program you have to put an app on your phone. For those with government or business phones or those who don't use smartphones that's a problem.The management at this location on the night I visited refused to assist in any meaningful way, managers have the inherit Authority to give up to a 10% discount to customers which is the same as the military discount and they were not willing to do that on my purchase, instead demanding I load an app.Home Depot has also removed items like appliances from the military discount program, which they did very quietly without notifying anybody and they have put a cap on their discount program.It's their company, they can do whatever they want, and they don't have to offer military discounts at all, it's a courtesy and I acknowledge that.But you shouldn't be removing certain items from the program without telling people, you shouldn't require me to use an app on my phone, and you could just provide a membership card instead.This particular location is no better or no worse than any other home depot, not exactly the largest with the biggest selection.And the staff here never seem very customer oriented or welcoming or willing to go the extra mile for anyone.With limited exceptions, I've never come across anyone in this store who seems like they want to work there.Avoid this Home Depot and go to one a mile down the road.

Today I went to the Home Depot located at 285 Forum Drive and was very displeased with the service, well LACK there of. I went to this location with my parents to purchase a refrigerator. We were in the appliance section and my dad found the fridge he wanted to purchase. No employee was in this area when we arrived. My dad walked over to a nearby section to see if we could be helped. 2 women employees that were communicating at the nearby desk stated that they would call to see if someone would come help us. 8 minutes passed and no one ever came. I approached the same desk and again asked if someone could help us with our purchase and received the same response. About 10 more minutes go by and at this point we are irritated. I see another female employee walking by and ask her if she could find someone to help us and that we have been waiting almost 20 minutes. She politely asks me to hold on as she walks away and comes back stating that the person who is supposed to be in appliances is on lunch break but the manager is going to come assist us. My mother also walked to the front Service desk and was told that they would call to get someone to come over and help us. Another 10-12 minutes goes by and NO ONE comes to assist us. There are a few other customers in the area who are looking around for help but no one comes. One customer found someone to help him with an over and she stared at us but did not address us at all and continued to help only that customer. This was the worst customer experience I’ve ever had and it has honestly left a bad taste in my mouth. My dad ended up driving to the Two Notch location where we were met with excellent service in the Appliance section and were able to quickly make our purchase with a knowledgeable representative. Home Depot in Sandhills please do better with having people cover areas when others are on breaks and management don’t say you’re coming to assist and NEVER show up. Bad look for the company.
