Boarded my pups for about 4 days; let me tell you about their experience…. They received farm walks, nightly turn down service and ice cream for a treat. The room they stayed in looked cozy with a tv going so they had the comforts of home. When I brought them home they were so relaxed like they were the ones that had been on vacation :)

Courtney's grooming skills are truly exceptional. She effortlessly transformed Marzipan's (my 1 year old Bichon-Poodle) matted, thick coat into a masterpiece. She even added cute little bows. Her expertise shines, and the care she provided is unmatched. Highly recommend her services for any pet owner seeking top-notch grooming.

The Fritz Pet Resort offers a variety of services, including doggie day care, grooming, training, and boarding. The fur babies play outside in a fenced yard, and when it's raining, they play inside in a clean area on artificial turf. I have peace of mind for my fur baby, Sasha, when she's at The Fritz Pet Resort because I know she is in excellent care with staff who are professionals and experienced in caring for my fur baby. I highly recommend this facility for your fur baby.

Van may be young, but he knows his business. I was so impressed with his knowledge. I will be taking my Chinese Crested to be trained. I have recommended him to a neighbor who has a Golden Doodle in need of training.

Toured today and after a great walk through we are on the schedule for board. Our dog Maggie is like a child and this is a real resort! She is gonna be in good hands!

Walked in just to see if they had an opening for our dog that day bc she got super muddy in the rain. Front desk and another woman were both incredibly polite and accommodating. They were able to fit her in and our pup got the spa treatment.We were also given a tour of the facility when we inquired about boarding. The rooms have TV, bedding, and toys and everything smelled great and was very clean.When we picked up our pup from her bath, I was highly impressed! She felt and smelled wonderful and you could tell the groomers put a lot of time into her :) this will definitely be our new go-to grooming place.

Our Henry, a Schnoodle, is very shy and has separation anxiety. We wanted to work him up to spending a week at The Fritz, so we booked Doggy Daycare today. As these pics show, he loved it! We went ahead and booked the week for our vacation and feel really good about leaving him there.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the fantastic haircut my dog received recently. The groomer did an incredible job in giving dog a stylish cut. Not only does my dog's coat now appear beautifully groomed, but the haircut also seems to have brought a renewed sense of energy and playfulness to my pet. I'm truly grateful for the groomer's skill and attention to detail, as well as their ability to make the grooming experience a positive one for my beloved baby.🐾

This place is a gem ! Staff are friendly, facilities are clean and there's lots of room for your dog to play. From the time I dropped off my pup, I never worried. He was groomed perfectly , energetic, and happy. Kudos to this establishment.

We have taken our two dogs a few times. The first experience was fine. The most recent was this past week. We asked for our dogs to be kenneled together. When we went back to the kennel the young man brought to small beds. He said he could not find a large bed. This would have been fine if both dogs were small, but one is about 90lbs. We were told that our big dog did not liked the noose they walked him with. We were unaware that you used a noose to walk the dogs. I asked them to use my dog’s harness and not the noose. I was told to leave the harness on him. When we arrived today for pickup his harness was not on him. Also, I had left eight joint chews with his food and asked for him to receive one a day. All the chews were gone and he was only there for 4 days. Need to know the exact charge for two dogs in one kennel. The ladies that assisted us today seemed like one did not agree with the billing requested.

Very disappointed with the quality of care we have received there twice. We have a St Bernard so he on the larger size. We got pictures of him everyday which was nice. The most recent visit we did do their daycare everyday he was there. What was disappointing was the first day he got covered in mud and he was left that way all 11 days he was there. Made no attempt to clean him up until the morning of us picking him up. Bath they gave him was very poor. Still had mud on his chest and was very matted. Going to require a visit to the vet and a groomer to get him checked out and cleaned. First stay there he come home with sores on his neck that we had to treat to get cleared up. Needless to say we will not be having our dog stay there or recommending the place.

This was the second time boarding my pup here. The facility and kennels are always kept very clean.The staff has always been friendly and welcoming. They do have playtime with your dog and take them for walks!Will use this place again!

This was the first time our two pups ever visited much less stayed over night for several days at a facility like this. So being away several states away from our babies was extremely stressful especially when we were tending my father's funeral. What was so disturbing about this who situation is that had we not called or ask, we would not have known, nor received the added services we paid for. Not to mention get any pictures of how they were doing. Yep! Pups definitely not going back!

Without a doubt I'd leave a 6/5 stars!!! Took my dog to the groomer today. They tried their best to give him a mohawk and fu-man-chu. The girl tried to talk me into letting her dye his hawk and now I'm thinking I shoulda let her. This grandma dog is punk AF !!!The Fritz pet resort in West Columbia is absolutely amazing! Kind, loving people who will take great care of your pet I don't know how to add pictures but he looks absolutely fantastic!!!

My mother has used them for grooming a small breed dog for a decade (including former location) and I have used them for the past year for a large breed dog. I acquired a new dog whose nails grow incredibly fast and sharp and literally took her to 3 different local grooming establishments for nail grinding - with varying poor results and an unhappy pup. It is nearly a 30 min commute for me to take my dog to Fritz the Spa, but as long as their doors are open - we will gladly make the drive! Heather’s (owner) crew not only gets the job done well - my pup is always all tail wags and happiness there and doesn’t slink and try to retreat to the car when we’re heading into the front door (that happened at other facilities - so I know she is treated well here). I utilized their boarding services for the first time for a week in summer 2021 and it was a stellar experience! Without my asking, they sent me candid pics and even called me to let me know she was doing great! Service is at a level that you rarely experience these days. Facility is modern, clean and very well kept. Give them a try - you will be glad you did!

Scammed!!! We recently boarded our two small dogs, We asked for the same service we had in January for boarding when dropping them off. We had been using fritz for grooming and boarding over the last few years. We have two small dogs and last time they were boarded with fritz they were in a small kennel each for $18 a night per dog. I dropped of my dogs and asked for the same or they could share a kennel, whatever would be more economically and fit them. I go to pick them up today and Fritz decided to upgrade my dogs to a luxury suite, and charged to each dog for a luxury suite with a 20%off for the second dog since they were sharing a kennel. However, the price this time went from 8 days for $410 to 8 days for $810 , nearly double the price for them to share a kennel. We never asked for a luxury kennel for them and we were shocked when picking them up and all the person working there could offer when we brought this up was a receipt.

I sent in an appointment request online and received a voicemail from a nice gentleman asking me to call him back so we could get my puppy scheduled for his first grooming appt. I called back. No answer so just left a voicemail which was fine. Called again today and a woman answered the phone. Told her I wanted to make a grooming appt for my puppy. She seemed to be helpful at first and then she asked me the breed of my dog (golden retriever/poodle) - immediately when I said that she said “sorry we’re not taking any new grooming clients at this time” - okay if you aren’t taking any new grooming clients, why ask me the breed of my dog? And why didn’t the first gentleman who called me say that they were taking any new clients? Makes no sense.

It was our pup’s first day today, and I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The staff is great, and what I love most is they sent pictures throughout the day showing how much fun he really had. He has some separation anxiety and a high energy level, so it was super comforting knowing he was in good hands. He cannot wait to be back!

We were very pleased with the quick appointment and excellent grooming our dog, Abby received today. We were given an appointment in two days for a bath, and she looked so clean and fluffy when I picked her up. She is a Sheltie with a lot of hair, and many groomers would rather not groom her. Their shop is very, very clean and tidy and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. They definitely have me as a new customer and I would highly recommend this groomer to others.,

I recently had Brutus 85lbs and Koa Sr. over for a bath, undercoat removal, nails... It was our first visit. First of all I thought I was at the wrong address. This place looks like a farm. Easy to find. Very clean inviting outside area. Friendly staff. Pups looked and smelled great. Job well done!

Take our 2 yorkies here once a month and they do a great job cutting them and cleaning them up. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good dog groomer. They moved their operation to West Columbia and it's now a little out of the way for us compared to their last location in Lexington but we still go because they have done so good in the past. Our dog babies seem to like going there, they're always happy and excited to go. :)

They allowed dogs to be booked for kenneling and did not bother to disclose there is an active Bordetella outbreak. Only found out at time of drop off from a sign in the lobby upon arrival.Owners phone numbers and contact info is readily available on their records, and at minimum it should be made known when scheduled by phone.

We have been using the Fritz for years for our boarding and grooming needs. Never had a bad experience until picking our pup up today after boarding him. He was slated for a bath before coming home and when we picked him up he stunk and had greasy fur. Called them to make sure he had been bathed and the woman stated he had gotten one yesterday. There is no way this dog was bathed in the last week let alone yesterday.

PP does a great job grooming our Cavalier, we also use them quiet frequently for boarding in their luxury suite. It is worth every penny, they take the best care of our beloved Rudy and Nalla. I would recommend them to anyone.

Pampered Pooch is awesome!!! It was Coco and Sebastian’s first time, I nearly cried! They looked wonderful, thank you for taking such great care of my poodles. They now have the best groomers in South Carolina!
