Good selection of foods and natural remedies. The owner is very knowledgeable about different health conditions your pet might be struggling with and about holistic treatments, he will always give great advice depending on your pet's needs. The prices at the store are very reasonable.

Amazing store for all your pet needs. I tried so many different foods for my dog from the chain pet stores; one trip to Super Starr Pets and the owners helped me find a food that is great for his sensitive stomach and he LOVES it!! His coat is so shiny, his dandruff is gone, and his digestion is so much better. I’ve alway received amazing customer service while here, the owners are incredibly knowledgeable and will certainly help you find the best products for your pet.

These guys treat you and your pet like family. Could not ask for a better group of guys. Hard working and super friendly and know exactly what your pet needs. Their knowledge of their products are amazing and they do an awesome job on grooming and their prices are way below what they could charge. Wouldn't go anywhere else. 🚨🚨🚨 *alert alert* Even though I canceled twice for a grooming session, they were kind and courteous enough to work with me and my dog. Nobody will treat your animal better, or have the customer service to make you feel like family, then they will at Super Starr Pets!!!!!

This is hands down the BEST pet store! They only carry high quality pet food (they don't even carry Diamond or Purina products, which says a LOT) , so whatever you purchase, you can feel confident that it's good quality. They carry many 5 star dog foods, and natural treats. Nothing made in China. You won't find anything low quality in the whole store. The customer service is absolutely fantastic and incomparable! They are incredibly nice people, and extremely knowledgeable about their products. I have never in my life been to a pet store where they can answer any questions on any of their products. This place is a kind of a long drive for me, but it's so worth it. I'll be a customer for life!

I have made 2 attempts to make an appointment to have my dogs groomed. Twice the store was not open although it says 8am-7pm Monday through Friday. I called and the owner on both occasions (a week apart) gave me the same exact speech about running behind because of a womans dog being gravely ill. I explained that he told me the same exact thing last week. Ugh! I really wanted to give this place a chance. Anyhoo.

I really needed my yorkie terrier groomed because of extreme matting. My baby is aggressive , but I got her put on meds before her scheduled appointment so that she could be sedated. 3 days before her appointment I tried calling and texting the groomer to confirm her appointment. I never heard anything back. On the day of her appointment I tried to reach out again and never heard anything back. I believe it is extremely unprofessional to say you would help me and we can work together to take care of my pet’s grooming needs but not respond back. If you no longer wanted to tackle the task a simple I’m sorry I don’t feel comfortable or do not have the time to groom your pet would have been the noble thing to do.

Super professional. The owner knows his brands and has done extensive research on what he sells. You can tell that they love what they do as well as enjoy educating customers or the products they sell. First time I ever came in the gentleman gave us free food to last a week to try it out. Can't best that kind of customer service. Always satisfied every time I come. Proves that local is always better.

Don and Lamont are amazing! They did a full assessment on my Pomeranian and put her on new food. My 13 yr old dog acts like a puppy now! Her vet says she is the healthiest older dog she has in her care. Your pet's food is vital to their health and I highly recommend you take you pet to visit these amazing men!

The staff is very inviting, knowledgeable, and the prices are very reasonable. It is family owned and operated. Everyone that enters is treated like family and exits feeling as knowledgeable when they leave. They tell you what you need to know as to oppose to just trying to sell you a product. They also perform all types of services that include immunizations, boarding,grooming, etc. I have known the guys there almost twenty years. You get that special and individualized treatment every time I go there. If you and you furry friend ever need their food, training products, visit this place.

Absolutely the worst groomer ever. I took my Yorkshire Terrier to be groomed and told them 3 times how I wanted her cut. They shaved her. I was livid. The place smells like dirty dogs and nasty bottoms. Will never go in there again or recommend them to anyone.

Drove to Columbia from Sumter to purchase Fromm cat food. After one disappointing stop, we called Superstarr Pets to be sure they had what we needed. The gentleman who answered was polite and extremely helpful. We drove over to store and both gentlemen were extremely helpful. They had exactly what we needed.The store is small, but they make up for that in the variety of healthy foods for dogs & cats. Well worth the 60 minute drive.

Never GO to this place. The shots they administer on our fur babies are Tractor Supply vaccinations which are not for them. Our puppy just got "vaccinated" here on the 22nd of January and has been severely affected by the shots which has caused him to go to the Pet Emergency room to be diagnosed with Demodicosis. Whomever, this "gentleman" is that is administering these vaccines should be charged with negligence! Please, please, please whatever you do, go to an actual veterinarian to get your fur babies vaccinated properly!

I only went to see if they had green tripe. Now tripe is only one of the 9-10 items that make my rotti dog food. So when the gentleman asked me how and what I feed my dog. As I was telling him. He starts shopping for me. Got me the best prices possible. Now I must say I forgot all about the tripe. And normally I have to go to four different stores. Organic veggies, GNC store supplements & supermarkets for can goods ect. I never given my dog kibble. I left with a whole new diet for my dog, still barf but mixed with kibble for a balanced diet. I must also add. To all my dog lovers whom like myself, feel that getting raw foods from butchers ect. Is the only and best way. You might feel right but like he told me. If you get your dog sick or your household sick from raw food contamination. I had to bleach and scrub everything, no more left over parts In the yard. No more wild animals coming to visit. Most of all they took the contamination worries out my dog and our lives. Oh and the chicken feet treats Rocky loves them. I don't submit many reviews but I was compelled to do this one. Thanks guys.
