Employees are very polite and helpful. The only complaint I have is that their prices are a little high. They will price match, but you have to ask. Even the employee helping me the other day made the statement about them marking prices up so that it seems you are getting a benefit of their rewards program. The same toy I was looking for there I was able to get because I was a rewards member, for the same price that a competitor store has normally marked every day. PetSmart had the toy marked as 20.99 but the competitor store has it everyday price for 14.99, plus I could use a coupon and get an additional 10% off.

The environment was clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I ordered online and was able to go inside the store and pick it up. I actually went inside to look at the product and placed an online order once I was able to look at the product. I recommend this store because you can shop and have your pet with you as well.

Tre is the best technician EVER. My baby thats not a baby is very dear to my heart and is not always the nicest but Tre always makes sure Zeus is safe and others are as well. He ALWAYS gives me good advice and it is so comforting to my soul. Hats off to Tre. #1 Technician of the century.

Petsmart fish policy now requires an interview and vetting process to buy aquarium fish at their Irmo store.I was refused sale of a single anglefish because the two Petsmart Managers decided my tank was too small and my other anglefish were too big.Drove 16 miles to add to my tank. Replace an angel fish, add a chinese alge eater, dory catfish and a few neons and danios to my 29 gal tank this evening.Entered the store, 2 women were chatting.After a few minutes at the aquarium section,I asked the 2 chatting women if I could get help buying some fish... Both came over and when described my tank set up (29 gal heavily planted w/3 angles) and I had selected an angel to purchase, I was told no.. that the angelfish I was buying would be killed and eaten by the other 3 in my tank.Mgr #2 asked if I had a separator, which I do, then told me I needed to buy a bigger tank.In summary, its ok for Petsmart to hold and allow Betafish to die in little cups, but their personnel can refuse sale based on their opinion of my aquarium set up and fish within my ecosystem.If the size of the angel makes it a meal, why would the very small neons or danios which they were willing to sell?I know BC Partners PE firm who owns Petsmart/Chewy and let them know their employees are refusing sales and estranging customers from buying dog food/toys/treats and using their Vet services. I doubt I'm the only customer who is being denied purchase within Petsmart.

My dog has been coming here for quite some time and I’ve always had a great experience until yesterday. I needed my dogs nails cut and smoothed out so I called and asked if I could just walk in and they said that would be fine. I drove 40 minutes into town and when I got there it was as though I was asked to wait about 10 minutes and the girl that was going to assist me would call me over the intercom. I waited and walked around and I’m looking through the window and I continue to see her just sitting at the desk so eventually I just walk back in. She wasn’t friendly or excited as all other times I’ve been in before and I sensed that she was less than excited for us to be there. I explained all I needed was a cut and smooth out bc her nails are sharp and she said ok sign here and give me 10 min. Great, at least I’ll have this taken care of regardless of her lackluster. I kid you not, I was called back so fast into the grooming area that I even said to her, she’s done already? I’ll be right in. I go in and she begins with how she was only able to trim but not smooth out her nails which they’re STILL SHARP bc my dog was jumping on her?? I’m sure I had the strangest look on my face bc I was thinking to myself how bad could it have been if you called back that fast and she was calm enough to let you CUT all her nails just not smooth them?! I let her know I’ve never experienced this type of service before and have EVERY SINGLE TIME I BROUGHT MY DOG THERE, THEY HAVE ALWAYS SAID MY DOG WAS SO SWEET AND CALM. To top it off my dog was calm when we got there and 10min later when I came back in so I’m so upset. It had me thinking, does she not have training in situations like this? She made the comment that sometimes dogs have off days and my thought for that is, you’re the professional you should now how to overcome a situation for a customer. A paying customer. Sometimes ADULTS have off days as well apparently. Maybe it was her break time or she was just having a bad day but I’d prefer to never use her services for my dog again. To sum it up I knew she definitely just did not want to bother with us from the start and I wanted to share this review so that it could maybe help with future customers. I still gave her a decent tip in hopes that she recognizes what she did was wrong. Bad service, unfriendly, wasted my time and gas. I never checked the reviews here before and to see SO MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS ABOUT THE GROOMERS IS UNCOMMON!

This store and the employees in it embody the reason brick and mortar retail is failing. Rude staff and on duty managers (or at least the one I spoke with Saturday) act more like cashiers with keys than managers.

A long aged out store that feels like it’s clinging to life. The associates are nice. But I feel there’s an issue with the prices always being lower on the website. So you have to look up the product before checking out in order to get the best pricing.

I went to the groomer there first time at the groomer at this location. I want to say my dog was happy jumping up and down, but when he got home he was sad crying, and moody. He has never been to a groomer no more than 2 hours. Here took about 5 hours. They did a good job cutting his hair. Next time I'll go to the PetSmart that is close to me they don't take long to groom my dog.

Won't let you purchase anything live, even feeder fish, way before closing time. Won't let you handle any live pets, like guinea pigs or hamsters, prior to purchase. Poor selection on most items other than dog food.

Took my schnauzer/ poodle mix today to have her completely shaved down like a short coated dog. We do this twice a year and shes touchy about her feet but it usually looks pretty good when I get her back.. I specifically said "no beard / mustache/ eyebrows to be left at all" to cut it all off! I get her back after paying because they don't bring them out till after you pay. Not only had her head and ears not been touched , her feet / nails look like Clydesdales. ALL and I mean ALL the hair is still there. Legs are totally shaggy, not shave at all. The only thing shaved is her back! The girl who did it was friendly but said she didn't have much experience and I should use a different person.( would have liked to have know that before I left her there!!) What the hell, I could have done that at home. I paid $50 dollars for a bath and a back shave.

I called up there asking if they had a 40 gallon (35 in x 17 1/8 inch) aquarium lid with the light in stock woman on the phone told me yes they did have them. I live about 30 mins away, so I did not want to drive all the way out there if they did not have it. Well once I get there, I have to wait about 15 mins for someone to help me. (keep in mind the parking lot is empty and the store is silent) Once someone does finally come, they tell me they do not carry 40 gallon aquarium lids at all. This is defiantly my last time I go to PetSmart. Thank goodness PetCo is right down the street and they were able to help me, along with give me a small discount for my trouble with PetSmart.

If I could do NEGATIVE 5 stars. I would! We took our puppy for grooming with very specific instructions. This was the WORST haircut I have ever seen on any dog. Spoke with the manager of the grooming department and she asked me to bring my puppy back to fix it but how do you fix a horrible haircut without making it worse. Instead of trying to find ways to satisfy the situation she continued to be combative and make excuses for the groomer for the horrible job done. She then says we can refund you your money but won’t provide any services again for your dog. Hysterically I laughed and told her that would be great because I wasn’t going back nor would I recommend anyone to take their dog here. STAY AWAY FROM THE GROOMING DEPARTMENT! Not only do you get the worst grooming job but bad customer service as well. Oh yeah and I haven’t received my refund. Never again Petsmart.

Not very friendly people, I walked in and no one greeted me and I was pricing something to see if I had enough and while I was walking out I got looked at and asked could I help you ? No just didn't have enough funds to get what was needed so I'll go somewhere else

Went and got my dog's nail trimmed and painted. Was told she was a champ, being her second time being in public. Just stood there and had her nails done. So proud of my dog and the groomer that took care of her. Wil definitely go back again.

We get a specialty food for our cats...plus fashion collars...each cat has their own personality...ladies are great...with a smile and we can watch the birds play...its fun...

If I could put zero stars I would.I went to get a pleco and was told by an associate I could not buy one because of my tank.She refused to sell me anything and was very rude with a nonchalant attitude.Would not recommend anyone to this location.

Don't buy fish from here. Well obviously they aren't selling anyways but I couldn't get a straight answer as to why. Considering mine died after a few days of bleeding and scales falling off I'd imagine something is going on.

I bought a harness, leash, food and water bowls and of course a toy for my 10 month old red nose pit.$121.00 later I can control her. Not the other way around. She was dragging me like a rag doll.😂

I took my Pomeranian Autumn to this location for her first grooming. I was nervous and so was she. Bianca is amazing! She was so calm and cool and I felt good about letting her take Autumn. Autumn looks absolutely beautiful. Bianca is great. We will definitely be back! 🙂♥️🐶✌️Hello again! Autumn had her second grooming with Bianca today. Bianca is a great groomer who always makes Autumn and myself feel at ease. I'm so glad that we found Bianca! Happy pup and happy customer! 🙂❤️🐶✌️9-9-21As usual, great grooming experience for my girl. Today I received the WORST customer service from PetSmart grooming area. I received a telephone call from a young lady named Brooklyn. My assumption was that she was calling to confirm the appointment for tomorrow. I didn't quite understand why considering the appointment was confirmed four times (by text, email, telephone, and on yesterday in person as I was leaving from getting my other dog groomed). Well Brooklyn proceeds to tell me that I will need to bring my dog at 8:00 am. I explained that his appointment is at 9:00 am. Brooklyn tells me that the young lady who is scheduled to groom my dog is also scheduled to teach a class or something for cat grooming. I informed Brooklyn that yes, I'm aware however, the young lady that is scheduled to groom him inform me yesterday that she gave the individuals that are coming for the cats a later time so she will see me at 9:00 am. Brooklyn tells me "yeah I know, but you need to come at 8 if you want your dog groomed." I informed her that I've already set my schedule (taken off from work for that time) to accommodate his appointment at 9:00 am. Brooklyn tells me again that if I want my dog groomed he will need to come at 8:00 am or I will need to reschedule because someone must have made a mistake when scheduling the appointment (her tone was HORRIBLE). I asked for a manager Brooklyn placed me on hold and came back within 5 minutes as if something was going to change in reference to my request. I asked for the district office number because I did not like the way she was speaking to me she stated she does not have that information and put me on hold again. She placed me on hold so long that the telephone rang on two separate occasions to start over the wait before she came back to the line. Brooklyn never came back with the manager on the line. I asked her what if I had not answered my telephone what would have been the result when I showed up at 9:00 am for my dog to be groomed Brooklyn quoted "we would have just figured it out." I told her you should just figure it out now because your error is not my fault. Needless to say she did not offer any assistance in regards to setting the expectation when it comes to customer service. The expectation was set on September 15th when I scheduled the appointment that I will be bringing my dog at 9:00 am. on September 25th. However, that is not the case because I will not be taking my dogs back to PetSmart. I've been a customer for 20 years, each dog that I've ever had has always received treatment at Banfield, grooming through PetSmart groomers, and all of their items come from PetSmart. However, I've made the conscious decision not to spend my money somewhere I'm not respected. Brooklyn should have called to ask me if I could bring my dog at 8:00 am instead of telling me and demanding that I do so as if she's going to be the person grooming my dog and paying for the service. The most unfortunate part is that Angela my dogs groomer, is a wonderful person. Always friendly, respectful, and provided the best advice for care for my pups. Whenever inquiring of different items to purchase for my dogs Angela would always tell me what to purchase from PetSmart. Angela is such a great dog groomer, I have friends that I've referred, and their dogs are groomed by Angela. However, yesterday is the last time I will spend money at PetSmart. I will never go back even though I've been a faithful customer for 20 years

I take my dog to get his grooming. He can be "difficult" dog, but they always take their time and get him nice and handsome for me. The staff are friendly to the humans and dogs. I highly recommend!

Long, long to check out. One lane open at 3 pm. Poor planning or a store that is trying to shove its customers to a pay online and did through a bunch of other orders to pick up yours.I know it saves having to hire people but I don't like to wait and I don't like to do a job I just paid someone else to do.Figure it out, PetSmart. Or your workers...I mean customers are going to find better options.

The groomers inside this location are horrible. I was charged $52 for the Schnauzer cut, my dog now bare shows any relation to her breed. The bushy eyebrows and walrus beard are identifying characteristics of her breed. I'm so upset, I'm never taking my dog there again.
