We were in the area having had a few minutes to spare I went to this PetSmart and the employees were so nice and friendly. Collectively all the women employees were attentive to me. I was pleased to visit their store and receive such great service throughout the entire store. And do apologize for not getting any names that were clearly visible (bonus) but I was on a get and go mode.So to all the Women Employees who were there when we looking for the 40gal tank - your service was superb 😊

While the Store and its employees are Always Very Nice, Very Helpful & Very Knowledgable about their products I was extremely disappointed to see that the store didn't offer even 1 electric buggy for their wheelchair bound customers. In fact I wasn't just disappointed I was also shocked that a major chain didn't care to take care of their handicapped customers. We own pets too and our money is just as good as completely self ambulatory shoppers.

The store was very clean and as soon as I walked in the lady at the front greeted me with a smile and hello. I had an issue and it was quickly resolved by the guy at the front because he was so courteous and eager to help me. The ladies in the back grooming my baby was also so welcoming and seeing them make my baby happy, made my heart melt. Everyone there is like family, see you next time!

My expensive Betta, and every fish I've gotten from them has died. They also told me the wrong fish that could go with other fish... so their fish killed mine, then died anyway! I'm not bringing 2 fish here, 1 fish there back as they die off for a refund. I'm just not going back there!

I gave 3 stars because I usually have a nice and easy experience. I'm not sure if the manager CJ (one of Columbia's finest coons) took it personal that I was trying to exchange a bag of dog food, but his attitude was awful. Literally, for no reason at all he was combative and snarky. It's so unfortunate, but I'll still patronize the place. 😀I wrote the above review in November 2023. I did not AT ALL express how disgustingly rude CJ was to me on that day, I just stated combative and snarky. This day above he was extremely confrontational, as if he was purposely trying to create and escalate a situation. I was literally just asking questions in a regular voice, there wasn't even anything for me to be mad about.Today, 05/03/24, CJ further proved my point about being confrontational. Believe it or not, while in the store today, CJ approached me and mentioned this Google review. How absolutely silly and comically unprofessional. So, since you're keeping up CJ, I'll let you know, you can't bate me and you're not going to get a rise out of me. I'm not sure what your deal is but, I don't operate on your level. I've not been rude to you once, not even today (in spite of your previous disgusting attitude). We're not the same, Sweetheart. You're just a bully looking for an opportunity to make yourself feel good at someone's expense. Do you deal with men like this? I doubt it. Every time you approach me with some foolishness, I'm going to update this review. If you can't deal with me in kind and/ or respectfully, don't say anything to me. It's that simple.

Great! They have a little bit of everything. The only downside is the prices. I'd stick with Walmart or somewhere cheaper for pet supplies, unless you're looking for a specialty item. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for their selection & pet food made with "REAL ingredients". Stay blessed! ☺😇🙏

Initially I had a not so great experience, but today I was super satisfied with our grooming appointment. Kairah was absolutely amazing. Her energy from when I walked through the door let me know that my pup was in great hands. My experience today has restored my trust with Petsmart grooming.

I stopped in to buy some dog bones, and some cat food. Got what I needed I guess. One large bone for my Labrador and a smaller bone for a small dog. So far they seem good. While I was there I looked at the cats that are here for adoption.. very sad to see them waiting for someone to take them home. There's a gray one, a female calico one, and a couple of others just there.. just sitting inside these plexiglass enclosures. Always breaks my heart seeing these animals here. But their so beautiful I can never resist looking at them. Unfortunately I currently have 4 of my own cats at home so I can't have anymore right now. But if your a cat person, and want to save a cat from sitting in this place, please PLEASE go and choose one. (Or two) But please help get them into a good home. I took a picture of one yesterday, just one because (he or she) looks identical to my own cat at home right now, very cute. Anyway please consider adopting a cat. You'll get some much love from whichever one you choose.

I 100% do not recommend anyone shop here.... I bought 5 little algie eaters for my aquarium, which has since gave my fish ick. Has killed over 100 dollars worth of fish, and I was told there was nothing they could do! Now im out money and have to spend more to get my tank fixed.

Trying to get here during the 5 o'clock traffic is terrible. The roads are packed. I'd recommend going during the day or on a weekend.

I have an permanent groomer that works at PetSmart on Two Notch Road and Columbia South Carolina name Mike he does and fantastic job if you have a big dog like I do name Kelly I recommend Mike.Kelly loves Mike he jumps and plays with Mike as soon as he see him. If he's available I recommend Mike big or small dogs he really shows that he cares and loves the pets. Please don't take my slot the first of the month every month Kelly is groomed perfectly no problems at all. Besides the fact that he is so excited to see me.

I came to this location two days in a row. We purchased some items for a new pet on the first day. The next day we purchased the gerbils. The woman getting them ready for the ride home was wonderful. She remembered me from the day before and was very thorough on what we need for our new family members. She was careful to watch how she worded things for the 14 day guarantee (kids were present). It was definitely a good experience and I will be back to this location!

Visited the store to get a pet Turtle for my lil cousin to surprise him on Christmas but they were out of the kits. I didn't realize the kit was $200 I wasn't expecting to pay that much LoLHowever, I may go to a flea market to get the really small Turtles so I could get a smaller case within my budget. These birds were cute but I didn't want to get something that would make noises.

Never have what we order. Purina Pro Plan sensitive stomach salmon. Waited 20 minutes to find out. The boy in the fish department was very helpful. But the "picker" was on his phone, slowly picking and didn't seem to care.

Great experience with the Veterinarian Kharim and his nurse. We needed to fit my good boy in for a vaccine and they did it with no problem. They treated my doggo so sweet and even though he is high strung they had patience with him. Thank you!

I do love going to PetSmart to get food for my Furbabies. My frustration is, why isn't there an ample amount of food????? Do you really want us to take our business elsewhere? The way I feel about it, is tell the person at the checkout in hopes that they will be the powerhouse to relay the message to the Corporate office. Nowadays, I'm not sure they're relaying the message. So, I'm throwing this out there in the Void in hopes that someone will hear.

Look at all these receipts... We really spend money at PetSmart. Normally my visit would have been sweet but the little old lady at the cash register gave me a hard time. Ask if she could do my reward points before she scanned my gift card because the last time I was in store she did the same thing. She cashed out my purchase before I could get my reward points. She looked at me and said "you can use them next time",huh? I had to put up a unapproved rating for this store 10136 Two Notch Rd Columbia SC 29229. I didn't argue with the little old lady my husband and I just walked off. She didn't want to scan our gift cards or give us our reward points. We was handed some snobbish attitude and bad customer service! We buy gift cards and shop there for our dog all the time. This was our first bad experience... Shopping at PetCo next!

We had our dog groomed today, they never reached out to us to tell us when he was finished, they didn't provide us with any paperwork regarding how he did during his visit, his toe nails look like they were barely touched and we paid extra for a bandana for him after he got groomed and never received one. I am extremely disappointed with this store, was not worth the $61 we spent. It appears as if they didn’t do a large handful of the things that they claimed they were going to.

I took my mom's dog in to be groomed. Jenna (the groomer) could not have been nicer or more reassuring. It's refreshing to be helped by someone that obviously loves what they do for a living. GoGo looks like a new dog!

I will never utilize their services again! I brought in my dog for an all around haircut and the groomer made an “executive decision” to only doing a trim, yet I was still charged for the full haircut. This place has terrible services and I do NOT recommend for the Columbia, SC area!

Liz did a great job with our Bella today. She was a positive energy in the grooming area. She took great care to be gentle because she suffers from hip dysplasia. Definitely recommend her to others. Thanks Liz!

The salon associate did a wonderful job of trimming Sami's nails. He was nervous and anxious, due to a previous mishap with the clippers (by a family friend, not by anyone associated with PetSmart), but she was able to calm his fears and had no problems with him.

Very clean and well-organized store with friendly staff. Also pretty cool how they have the pet cleanup stations scattered around.-2 Stars however because some of the animals made me sad. Lots of dead or dying betta fish.
