I took my fluffy Matisse to this groomer, because my dog had overgrown hair, and they bowed. My baby, had her looking crazy and unrecognizable. They did not give an explanation to why they cut all her hair off. Honestly, they thought it was fine and that I would be happy. I was so disappointed and I would never go back.

I've been coming to this store for quite a while. Their prices are the best in town, and I have checked other stores like petsmart and petco. They have dog and cat food that's not available in any other generic grocery store. The employees are also super helpful, they greet me the second I come in every single time, and ask what I'm looking for so they can help me find the best option.Their cats and other animals seem to receive the best possible care, they haven't had anything other than betta fish the last few times I've been in there, and it is a shame they are kept in cups, but I talked to one of the employees and she said that is all they're allowed to be kept in. All they can do is clean them twice a week, which is better than most other places, to be blunt. The groomer is sweet and has always super kind and she addresses any questions or concerns I have. The manager is a delight and I love how nearly all the employees will drop what they're doing to come help or talk if I need it.Overall it's a great store, my one complaint is how barren the bird, reptile, and rodent section are

We adopted our first cat here recently. From start until finish, they made the experience just awesome! We love Jack and want to thank Petsense for giving us this awesome new member to our family. They really care about the animals here.

We prefer getting our pets food and toys from here, it’s a great small selection and staff is friendly but seeing beta fish rotting away in containers by the front door makes us feel sick. You wouldn’t trap dogs or any other animal this way and forget about them on a shelf, why fish?? They get fin rot, infections, and copious other diseases all while only having 2 inches to barely keep themselves afloat. This is inhumane and immoral to teach next generations, try staying in a standing 2’ by 2’ shower with glass walls for weeks on end and see if you still want to live at all.

If i could give the grooming salon zero stars i would. The new salon leader is intolerable and unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

1st time here, Jenna was wonderful with my 2 dogs. The grooming area was quiet compared to other big stores and that definitely helped calm my girls while they got their nails trimmed. I have another appointment with her in a couple weeks. This is a new favorite store!

Do not ever bring your fur babies here! This is the half a@$ job that was done. Never ever ever going back! You better believe I would have left 0 stars if I could and that EVERYONE I know will not be bringing their babies here! Absolutely ridiculous! A blindfolded 3 year old could have done a better job.

Would have gotten 5 stars if you had better food options for dragons. You sell them but don't offer the dubias that are best for them? But your staff is nice and the store is really clean.

Ashley was fantastic with getting my pit's nails trimmed. My dog is very afraid of clippers, so she can only tolerate the Dremel tool. Ashley was very understanding of everything I told her and treated my Bella with such love and compassion! Other store assistants were very friendly and accommodating, letting me know I would only need to wait 10 minutes before I would be seen. They even called the vet for me to retrieve rabies vaccination confirmation since I was bringing my dogs from out of town. Prices were great and they got me in same day due to scheduling conflicts on my behalf. Overall fantastic experience! I will be back.

Service was great. The young lady that helped me was awesome. Made sure I had everything I needed and helped me get the tank into my van. Wish they had bigger tanks but what I got will work for now. She was knowledgeable with what I was getting supplies for.

When our regular groomer had to cancel our appointment, I called Petsense and they were able to squeeze us in that same day. Very reasonable prices for grooming! We were happy when we picked up our little dog; she looked great! The store itself was clean and organized and the staff were friendly.

I hope this message reaches corporate. Ashley the groomer at 7402 Garners Ferry Rd Suite C Columbia, SC 29209 is super awesome. She worked with my troublesome Shitzu-Poodle Mozart. Mozart was traumatized by a previous groomer at Petco a year ago. Ashley treated my dog with love, compassion, care, dignity and superior customer service. She was kind and gentle with Mozart's behavior and understood he will need time to get adjusted to her. We had to reschedule a few times due to my work schedule and Mozart's medical appointments. Ashley was very understanding and prompt to make adjustments as needed. Please do not let her hard work and care go unnoticed. I pray that someone in corporate can recognize Ashley's dedication to your company. Thank you, Ashley, and may God bless and keep you

The grromers are EXTREMELY slow. I have a very small dog it should not have taken 4.5 hours for a bath and cut. He still came home with parts that should have been cut that weren't. He came home extremely agitated and traumatized. We won't be back!!!!

This place is truly amazing. We took our dog here after a somewhat discouraging experience at Pet-smart and immediately felt uplifted. The workers are so friendly, the energy was very calming, and they catered really well to our Great Dane who is strong-willed and does what he wants. We will be taking all of our pet related business here from now on!

HORRIBLE PLACE !!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! My cousin Yorkie and 3 other puppies were attack by a pitbull because an untrained Groomers assistant was responsible for an animal that she could not control. The manager was very rude and racists towards people of color. And refused to acknowledge the issue WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE

The new groomer Juli is fantastic! I really appreciated her letting me hold my boy Lucas whilst she trimmed his nails. He was pretty anxious and instead of muzzling him (he's never had them done) she sat on the floor with us so he could be in my lap and made him feel much more comfortable.

I went in looking for a thick dog bed, one that I could stand on and not smash completely down, and while I didn't find exactly what I wanted, they had a nice selection. I did find an automatic waterer for a very fair price. Its close by, and easy to get to, with decent prices.

I have been bringing my beagle in since she was 5 or 6 weeks old and she just turned 2 years old. They know her by name!!! When I got my other dog and mentioned she is very skittish, the girls in the groomers take their time with her and love on her when she goes back. Lacey and Heaven loves all the employees that work there.

I take my Lab and Shepherd there to be groomed and me and my fur babies love it! There are even little cookies for sale at the counter as we leave for a treat for them. Staff is amazing!

Horrible customer service. When checking out the cashier was very disrespectful . continually called me "Sis" ( I'm old enough to easily be her mother ) and said to me "don't get an attitude sis" when SHE was the one whom clearly had an attitude. I just wanted to pay and leave and not only did I have to ask for my total bc she was so slow and non chalant about her job she then took literally 5 min to look I've the $20 bill I have her I asked her if there is was a problem bc she wasn't saying anything, she said "I think it's fake" with an attitude.I laughed bc thought she was kidding. I said here I'll switch it out with another $20 and she got all nasty about it. And that's when SHE said "don't get an attitude Sis" 🤣 Really? I replied with "you have interesting customer service" and left. Her name was Desiree. She really needs to be taught how to talk to people. I will be going back to return my items hopefully when she is not there and will not be longer go back that's for sure.
