The owner Will is very professional and very knowledgeable, his fish tend to be very healthy as he medicates his fish and water. The color and size of his corals are very good and his prices are very good. they carry everything from $5 chaeto algae to $1000+ corals there is something for every price range and his trade value is very good. I traded him a 2 inch purple tang for a 4 inch hippo tang and am very happy with the trade so far fish is healthy and he was able to get me the exact size fish and one with minimum hlle just like I asked him to and he was able to do it in just a few days. his employees are also very helpful and nice to talk to and the store has a very good vibe to it. overall will be back and will recommend to friends and family in the hobby. the fish selection here is limited but expanding rapidly each time I visit he has more and more fish in stock than last time and feel as if this store might become a better option for fish than other stores in the area, it already is a better option for corals than other stores.

UPDATE!!!!!! Palmetto Reef is now open 7 days a week!!!! They have some new staff that know how to treat customers and helps you with any questions to have. If you are not happy make sure you tell management before you leave because they will make it right. They want everyone in this hobby to be happy. Best place to get all your Saltwater Aquarium needs. Great people to do business with. I upgraded to a Cade 1800 that Palmetto Reef offers. They also offer other brand name systems. The Cade is One of the best tanks built and I'm very happy with my purchase. Great customer service and support. They will answer any questions to help you in this hobby and will make you very successfully!!!

These guys are the real deal - 5 stars is simply not enough. Palmetto Reef has been my go-to reef store since day 1 of my nano reef tank adventure and I cannot overstate how helpful they have been along the way. They genuinely want to not only help you achieve the coolest and most beautiful reef tank setup, but also to help their customers learn and succeed in their salty ventures (no matter the budget!). Will and Ashley really enjoy getting to know their customers and each visit is always personalized. Ashley and Will are fantastic. My wife, kids and I love going in and seeing what's new, almost every week. My favorite part is the attention that they give each person that walks in the door. I always feel welcomed and will get my questions answered while learning more.Friendly atmosphere with great lighting and cleanliness. After purchasing from Palmetto Reef, we set up an appointment for Will, Dan and Nick to set up a larger tank in my home. They did not disappoint and made every effort to educate and discuss the process. Our sea life has always been healthy and happy that we have purchased from them. Great selection of coral and fish. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the hobby. I like the fact that everything isn't green. To many aquarium stores sell green because it's the cheaper coral. Palmetto Reef has great colour at a competitive price.

Palmetto Reef and the folks that run it are the sort of thing that every state should be so lucky to have. My first visit to this amazing little hole in the wall gem has hooked me on a hobby that has brought nothing but joy into my home. From initial visits and making a plan for a tank right through to monthly maintenance everyone here has been beyond enthusiastic, a wealth of knowledge and unfailingly honest. The sort of place where they will try to DOWN sell you because they are more concerned with you being a long time successful friend and reefer than they are about making an extra 100$ buying something that you don’t need. Even if your not planning on starting a tank, stop by and visit Will, Ashley, Dylan, the Dans and everyone else here, you owe it to yourself.
