What a great first experience at Jays. I was greeted by Jackson, whom I highly recommend. He knew exactly where to direct me and he immediately advised me of his two favorite brands. Not only did he just give me his preference, he explained the difference and helped educate me along the way.Super dope dude, super dope store, I will definitely be back.Edited 3/17/24This store is my absolute go to store. All the guys that work there are very knowledgeable and very outgoing. You will find yourself just in there kicking it with them, they make you feel at home.I live in Charleston now and stock up every time I’m in town because their prices are unrivaled. Ask for Jackson if he is there, if not. You’re still in great hands.

I visited this store for the first time on Saturday September 9th. I purchased 2 vapes and some baked edibles. Ate an edible on Saturday shortly after purchase and it gave me a stomach ache (not too alarming as it was a new thing I was trying). However, on Tuesday 9/12 when I went to eat another one I noticed there was an expiration date on it of 6/16/2023 (which may explain the stomach ache). Called the store and the only thing they offered was for me to purchase another brand at 50% off, no apologies, nothing else. I Physically visited the store today and the same product is still on the shelf, and the “manager” was unhelpful. Again offering 50% off another product (because it is “as is” which I didn’t know until today, again this was my first time at the store) , no apologies, no even exchange, no partial refund nothing just asking me to spend more money. I was also willing to get the same product but they were all also expired. I had no problem with the product outside of the fact it was severely expired. Requested the owners information to contact and get the situation taken care of, again he declined. I left the store, With my issue unresolved and I still have the expired gummies.

I live in Greenville, frequently visiting Columbia, and I always make sure to stop by Jay’s Vape shop before going home! They have a large variety of smoking essentials with great prices. Also, they are open 24/7 so that’s game changer. Most of the employees are nice and fun to talk to but Jackson is by far my favorite there! He always answers all my questions and hooks me up with everything I need, exceeding my expectations every time. Everyone needs a Jackson for their shop. I recommend this vape shop to everyone I know!

If I can give zero stars I would The first and foremost if there's problems and you have a manager your manager is supposed to rectify and fix them instead of making excuses for how his employees screw up If you know you have a special needs person working for you or someone with something mentally going on you should not put them on Thursday and you should be able to train them the same as any other mental person that can work it's trainable so with that being said if you go in on third shift and spend your money and they will not speak to you they do not care or they will continue to let a special needs person with no training work and cause more problems than worth when you call to talk you get a young refresh out of college child that does not understand or know how to deal with some people at all they're spending their money I have eyes nobody to go here unless you want to be rudely treated and disrespected

These guys have everything you could need. From vapes to THC cartridges, to bongs bowls and wax pieces. They always know what to recommend based on your needs and the items I've bought have never let me down. As a habitual smoker I've always come to jays and always left satisfied.

This is the only vape shop I've ever been in and one of the workers is sitting on the counter sucking down a can of nitrous oxide looking like a complete idiot, only reason I’m leaving 2 stars is cause they do have the lowest prices in town, but apparently the highest employees Aswell

If I could give a "0", I would!! Do not ever go to Jay's Vape and Wellness Center for anything!! You go there, "they" make a mistake and they don't refund you for "Their" mistake and tell you to take it up with your bank. The bank associate calls and the employee/manager are rude to the bank associate who calls to try to rectify the matter of "their" mistake and when bank associate calls to speak with the owner Jay even he was rude and also vulgar with the bank associate. I don't know what part of wellness in their name should be there because nothing about that store signifies wellness. I understand there is a no refund policy but that should not apply to an error made by the store!! I hope in time you have to shut your doors for lack of business due to your rudeness!! Vape shops are a dime a dozen, so they can get what they need elsewhere!!Thank God not all vape shops have managers and owners like you!!This all occurred 5/21/23 through 5/24/23

Never felt so discriminated against in my life only my second time purchasing from this store. Went to buy a vape and the boy with the long curly hair completely ignored me even though I was standing right at the counter in front of him. He then proceeded to walk to the other end of the counter to help another customer of his complexion. So I initially brushed it off, another girl walks in and even then I’m standing at the counter still waiting to be helped by the other associate he helps the white girl behind me. So when I tell him I was there first all he can say is sorry. You knew what you were doing. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in my life. It might not matter that I’ll never come back here but it’s not the first time I’ve heard of the mistreatment of African Americans at this store. They also don’t check ID’s so how would y’all know if your selling to an underaged customer

**updated since they responded** it definitely wasn’t a holiday on thursday of this week🤣🤣 i’m not trying to argue with you, i’m trying to just state the facts of my experience. on the vape situation i literally have to smack it on a table for it to stop lighting up and then vape juice is everywhere, my fault for not checking when i bought now i know i need to everytime.had 2 separate occasions that i was disappointed. went one time and the doors were locked and lights off but they are “24/7” and bought a vape that about exploded on me 10 mins after i bought it

Was told this place had reasonable vapes. So I took my mom to look for a flavor she liked. 1. Nothing but fruity flavors. 2. The person waiting on her didn't seem very patient. 3. No handicap parking. 4. We parked in the back of the store. Laying on the ground was a plastic wrapped, white powdery substance that looked suspicious. Would not recommend this place at all!

This place is great. The staff are knowledgeable and know about any product in the store. The selection of cbd products are very broad. The nicotine juices are great as well. Always new products rotating in which is a plus. This is an amazing new store that Columbia has acquired. The first time I went I was greeted by Jay. Great honest guy. He welcomed me in and answered any questions I had thoroughly. Great owner. Great selection. Good vibes. Great experience. i Recommend this store every chance I get.

This shop only carries salt nicotine vaping products. The sub-ohm crowd has no business visiting, which is a shame... we need juice at 2am, as well.When I mention this to employees, they are.. wholly unmoved by my concerns. As other reviewers have mentioned, this owner does not hire for customer service skills. I'm certain they have other valuable talents.

I like Jay’s vapes a lot. They are competitive in terms of product and pricing compared to other stores. The staff is always friendly and super helpful, and if Jay himself is in there he will always take care of you. He hooks it up and makes sure you have everything you need before you walk out. He’s knowledgeable and doesn’t mind explaining anything to you in regards to products, functionality, uses, etc.

Jay's is the only place to go for your vape and other products. The selection and the prices are unbeatable. I'm an Uber driver and I tell everyone that Jay's is the spot. The man knows what he's doing. He's got a staff of chill people who are super helpful and know the products. Plus they never close. I'll rep his brand and back his store 100% any time. Came here last week with my white friend an the customer service given to her was above an beyond, came back by myself (11/23/20) an they couldn’t even greet me when I walked in. All of the employees seemed to be more into the group conversation they were having than helping me. Not only were they more concerned with the non work related conversation it was literally six guys presumably all on the clock not doing anything at all, not cleaning because the store was very messy.If you’re a person of color please don’t waste your time in this establishment, this place only caters to you if you fit the “Young white woman” esthetic.

Great shop, great selection of everything from glass to CBD to vape juice. Jay and his staff are great and make sure you are taken care of as soon as you step in the door. I have no reason to go to any other headshop in the city now that I can go to Jays Vape and Wellness. If he sold groceries I would buy those there too, genuinely a great experience and I plan to return back this week.
