I recently used Irmo Pet Retreat for my two dogs, and it was a standout experience. Kaye and her team are not only professional but also incredibly kind and understanding.One thing I really appreciated was how flexible they were. They understood that leaving your pet can be stressful, so they adjusted to accommodate my requests.The whole place is well-run and clean, and the staff communicates effectively, which made me feel confident in leaving my pet with them.Also, it's affordable compared to other places.

We discovered Irmo Pet Retreat last year . Being new to the area we had asked our vet for a referral. They had said Irmo Pet Retreat. They take care of our senior golden retriever with such kindness. We have met the owner - their passion for pets is apparent right away! Highly recommend them!

It’s our first time to leave our baby mochi and he was cared for and love as I can say. I even asked for daily pictures and updates, they send it with no questions asked. I will definitely board him again here if needed. I know they will take care of him like he is their own baby dog.

I boarded my dog at Irmo Pet Retreat for the first time. I heard a couple good reviews and wanted to try them out. They're so helpful and professional, very clean facility and they're so nice! My dog was well taken care of and I'll be bringing him back in the future. Very happy with the folks and services at Irmo Pet Retreat!

Have used Irmo Pet Retreat twice now and each time my fur babies have had a great experience and they come home happy. Everyone we have met there are truly friendly and very caring, you can tell they truly love animals. I highly recommend them.

Our puppy Kai was very well taken care of!He didn’t want to leave when we picked him up!!! We are now able to relax when we need to go out of town. This is the only boarding facility we will ever use ! So CLEAN!!!

Our dogs love this place. The staff is wonderful. It's not always easy to trust your pets with others, but we have never had any reservations with Kay and her team. The pups are looking forward to their next sleepover.

The care team was wonderful with Jax. It was my first time boarding (with my first dog), so I was really nervous about it. Brad was super nice about talking me through everything and he even sent me pictures of Jax having a blast during play time. I couldn’t be happier with how smoothly everything went and I will happily continue to board here as we travel. (The pictures are from Jax’s stay)

I boarded my dogs at Irmo Pet Retreat for four nights and five days. They were amazing! The staff kept dogs and happy. They even sent me pictures of my dogs playing fetch. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and responsive. The prices are are beyond reasonable. My dogs will definitely be back when it’s time for our next vacation.

This was the first boarding experience for my pup and me. We were greeted well and I was allowed to tour her suite and walk her to the area. When I returned 6 days later, she was bathed, her bedding washed, and a report was given that they had made sure she got extra attention because she wasn't eating well. I was very pleased and will use again. I would love to have gotten updates/photos/videos during her stay to reduce MY anxiety!

I boarded our boys (Tadpole, 7 months, and Apollo, 9 months; both Belgian Malinois) here for the first time (and their very first time being boarded!) and although it was nerve-wracking, they made the whole experience so smooth and easy. The team is very knowledgeable and knew how to handle the boys, not only when they got into a little altercation, but also with Tadpole being more of a wary, nervous boy -- they know exactly how to read a dog. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you again for watching and looking after our boys -- we will definitely use your service again if we're ever unable to bring our boys with us!

I highly recommend Irmo Pet Retreat! They took great care of my beloved fat beagle for two weeks while I was overseas. He seemed quite content when I picked him up. The facilities were great and the staff was super friendly and clearly loved dogs.

Kay and her staff were wonderful with my mini schnauzer. Bella has anxiety issues and is not friendly with others, but she loves us and lots of attention. On a previous visit elsewhere, Bella was visibly shaking all over when we picked her up. She wouldn’t eat for a couple of days. I’m happy to say Bella was her normal self when we picked her up from Irmo Pet Retreat. Even her beard had been cleaned and brushed.

We have brought our dog Jake to Irmo Pet retreat several times when we’ve gone on vacations, and they seem to care for him very well. He is older now and needs closer care and medication and taken out more frequently than normal, but they don’t seem to mind, and I always have a big smile and he always comes home happy. I absolutely love Irmo Pet Retreat! The staff are the best. It's my Izzy's second home. I know that he's well taken care of. He jumps out of the car and pulls me inside whenever we arrive. I never worry about his safety.

I’m VERY particular about my dogs care. They’re either with their dog sitter or IPR. We’ve been taking our two big dogs to IPR for about 4 years and I don’t worry about their care. Kay and her staff are always on point. Caring, gives medicine correctly, notices anything out of the ordinary and will call us if there are any questions or issues. I highly recommend IPR.

I was in town visiting family for Labor Day weekend('23) and I had to leave my dog someplace. I called Irmo and they accepted my dog and.took great care of him while I was visiting family. Thank u Irmo! I really appreciate ur care of my pet. The next time I'm in town, I know who to call. Oh and their rates are great!
