I brung my two mini schnauzer to be groomed at 12:00pm. They were not ready until 5:30. That is very unprofessional. My fur babies were without food all day because of this appointment. I am very disappointed and unsatisfied. The staff did not apologize for the lateness nor sent a text or extend a phone call to tell me my babies were not ready. Can you imagine working all day and your babies at the groomers for almost 6 hours? It takes 5 1/2 hours to groom two dogs??? I am one pissed parent

I’ve been sending my dogs here for about 3 years now. I was referred by a friend, and I have referred more friends. I love that it’s a small business with a consistent staff. My dogs are treated well and look forward to their appointments when we’re there.

We are new to the area and we were seeking for new groomers. We took our dog groomed here for the 1st and last time. We wanted feet face and nails, and our dog looks like he has a full groom (he’s a mini poodle we like him to be full and fluffy). Our dog was not secured during grooming and towards the end he jumped off the table. Groomer tried to play it off as if he was grooming him kneeling down. Our dog body is bigger than his neck and head. Hideous job!!!! We paid extra 25 dollars for “more spa” that including bow or bandanna we got neither, eyes and he still had gew in his eyes. I could go on and on about our unpleasant experience.(Pictures)Before on left and after right. Very disappointed, beware!!!

My puppy was in her first heat and getting her first grooming. I called and asked what to do or if I should reschedule. They made special arrangements for me to come early before other dogs. My puppy got a great cut and she liked being there. Can't ask for anything more.

The first time I took my pets, it was great and even though very expensive, I was happy. The second time I took them, they did something to my smaller dog, she was acting drugged and couldn't keep her eyes open or awake until the next day. So, I'm not sure if they gave her something or knicked her eye but I cannot in good conscience take my fur babies back there (not to mention they charge $80 per dog). 🤯😯

These guys are so great. I was nervous because my Gary does NOT approve of nail trimming at all. They took such great care of him and gave him a nice oatmeal bath too. He had a big stupid grin on his face when it was all done and I knew then and there I took him to the right place.

I’ve tried several groomers in Columbia (and the surrounding area) and they’re the best! They have amazing attention to detail, my dog is in a great and happy mood when I return, the staff is super friendly, and prices are reasonable.One of the best, if not The Best, groomers in Columbia!!

I always go there to get a haircut and sometimes facial for the 15 year old Maltese my Mom takes care of. I like it but make sure they do what you ask in terms of haircut! They're very nice and loving towards your dog, are well organized, clean and reasonably priced, and even give recommendations on care, but darn it if they don't cut the tail hair short enough!

OMG my lil Yorkie looks great. I was going to another until I looked thus place up. They cut his hair perfect the way I wanted. My dog was comfortable they where very friendly. Staying with this dog salon💞💞💞💞 forget to take picks I will post one later

I did not want a day to go by without posting about this wonderful place. I just picked up my dog from her first grooming experience and it was fantastic. New to town, I chose Happy Pets based on the glowing reviews, and they certainly hold up to the reputation. Our dog has not always done well at the groomers, so maybe out of nerves, I tend to over explain her tendencies. They staff was so kind and attentive to me, as well as our dog, right off the bat, that I was at ease. The store is clean and welcoming. You can easily tell everyone of the staff members genuinely loves dogs and has a talent for caring for them. Over the years, we have been to five different groomers and Happy Pets Salon and Spaw is by a landslide, number one. Very grateful for this team!

My toy poodle’s 1st puppy cut and they did an awesome job. Very clean , professional and friendly. I loved how they communicated & educated us on how to properly groom her hair at home between visits. Highly recommended!

Just left the salon for the first time and I am super impressed! Not only when I walked in were all the staff and the owner super nice but the pups there looked happy to be there not scared for their lives. LolI had called in advance a few other places because my dog has major issue with nail trimming and it is very difficult to trim her nails. Many places, even my own vet, couldn’t do it, or couldn’t handle a dog that gets so scared that they try to hurt themselves. But they did an amazing job, it’s the closest her nails have ever been trimmed and apparently she was calm enough in their presence that she didn’t even freak out!So, so happy with the job done! Also wonderfully priced. Thanks guys!

I have taken my fur baby to 4 places and no one would cut him right. They alway cut too close and don’t listen. Taken my fur baby to Happy Pets in Columbia I drove from Charlotte and it truly was worth the drive. Jeremy was personable. He came to shake my hand and welcomed my baby (Chico). When I came back to pick him up he was happy and he looked amazing. He was cut perfectly because he had to have the previous cut fixed. They listened and actually did exactly what I asked! I am a happy customer!

I never knew this place existed, but I am so glad that I know where it is now. The staff was so nice and understanding, especially after my yellow lab excitedly moved his bowels on their welcome mat. Max was barking and jumping all over the place, but they handled him with expert ease. I had the nail grinding done for him, which took two groomers, but in the end his nails looked so well manicured. Thank you so much and I will be back for another visit (hopefully without more accidents on the welcome mat)!

I waited 3wk to decide whether to leave a review. I wasnt compltely thrilled about leaving my two bichons because while i was thete the groomwr dragged my dogs because they didnt want to come. So yeah their butt was being dragged on the floor for $130. When i came to pick them up i was given a Loud apology and cut off when i tried to explain i saw you drag them. I was okay with the grooming except he didnt groom them the way in i asked even showed a picture And there was a plug thst was cut down to the skin which i wasnt told about.

There had to be an unexpected schedule change for our pups. It was all handled extremely professionally, and the owner himself came in early on an agreed upon date in order to groom them. The staff is very attentive to the customers' wishes and they deliver every time. I am so glad I found Happy Pets!

I take my dog to a groomer regularly and, while I like them ok, they can be very hard to get an appointment with. That is what lead me to search for another and I am so glad to have found Happy Pets because they are EXCEPTIONAL! I have never gawked at the aftermath of my dogs grooming before like I still am today... he looks AMAZING and I was just expecting basic care. His phenomenal cut and bath were worth every penny! They even have a little area where they will take their picture afterwards and the pictures turned out so cute! I wasn't expecting such a good job, let alone this fun bonus of having his pictures with a seasonal theme. This just shows this place is run by people who really love what they do. Picking my dog up yesterday and seeing him looking so good really made my day! My husband was also so surprised and happy! We are definitely now planning on being regulars!

Jeremy and his team did a great job! My dog looks great and it was a really good value for the full groom treatment. They were attentive to my instructions and gave meaningful feedback and suggestions regarding how to cut/trim the dog. They were very friendly with her and even had treats for the dogs. I will be bringing my dog back here for sure.

I absolutely love this place! I tend to be a little on the picky side when it comes to how low my poms hair is and Jeremy Robinson did an incredible job today with Topaz! He is one of the most personable groomers I've ever met! He really wants to make sure you leave satisfied after every visit! I would highly recommend this place, especially if you have aggressive or hyper animals who need extra attention! Such caring and sweet atmosphere! I just moved to the area and have no intentions on going to anyone else!

The staff at Happy Pets Salon & Spaw are outstanding. Our Daisy Belle loves going for her Spaw Day. They do a great job and she is always so happy to go see them. When I pick her up she looks amazing! Jeremy the owner is great and everyone there takes such great care of Daisy Belle. There is no one else I would even let touch my sweet little girl. I wish I would have taken a picture but she is passed out snoring right now, getting ready for a long day of chasing squirrels and rabbits in our back yard. Our baby dog was long overdue for a haircut. I called Happy Pets and they were able to get him in within a couple of days due to a cancellation. Katrina did an excellent job with his haircut/nails & he smelled so fresh. This is my second visit here and I have been pleased with their services.

I love this place! I have taken Daisy Mae to numerous grooming places in the area, and they all shave her bald and she is never happy. I heard about Happy Pets and figured I would give it a try. Daisy was so happy and looked so cute when I picked her up. I loved this place so much that I even talked my mom into bringing her dog there as well. She loved it just as much as I do. The prices are great and Daisy Mae has never been happier after being groomed!

The only place in Columbia that I will take my dog. Jeremy and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I’ve never been disappointed. They are kind and patient with your pet. The BEST Pet Salon/Spaw & Groomers, hands down. Everyone truly loves what they do there. They're very loving of the fur babies; that's for sure lol. Not to mention; they're attentive to them & they give them the absolute best possible care ever...
