Groomingdale’s did a great job with my pup.The entire staff is warm and friendly.The facilities are clean and attractive.When I picked up my little boy, he was happy and energetic. The staff clearly took the time to acquaint him with the tools, people, and made it a positive experience for him.It was my first time going to this groomer - already have my appointment scheduled for next time!

I’ve been taking my dog to Groomingdale’s for over two years now. I’ve even moved an hour away and I still continue to bring him here. The customer service is phenomenal, the staff (especially Angela and Daci) feel like family, and they truly love and care for my Merlin like he was their own. Not to mention the fabulous haircuts they give! Daci even saved a mermaid scale hanky for Merlin AKA Merman 🧜‍♂️ for his latest groom. I can’t speak highly enough about this business!

Groomingdale’s lost their best groomer in November and have very poor communication (don’t answer their phone or listen to messages until late afternoon) and are nasty about problems with their service. They say it’s “normal” for pets to stay all day without having their own water bowls, which is awful considering the new-ish virus going around that can be transmitted by shared water bowls (which they keep in their waiting area). Do not recommend if you love your pets. 😢

This is the only place that we feel comfortable to take our Chow Chow’s. They have groomed all 3 of our fur-kids and would highly recommend them

These guys are awesome! I’m new to the area and wasn’t sure where to go to for grooming but they had such good reviews I tried it. Highly recommend they take good care of your pup and take notes to make it easier for their next grooming appointment.

I'm redditing because I feel the new owners are running off the coattails of the previous owners. I did not understand until the company moved from their location & the owner had was the only one grooming up to 17 dogs in one day, which makes a lot fall on the bathers. Just really unprofessional & rude. My family rescues so I'm pretty familiar with what I needed to do, feel like new owner is in it for the money.

They took really great care of my pup and she looked absolutely FABULOUS after her appointment! They even sent her home with a cute bandana around her neck! One look @little_scottie_angus on Instagram and you’ll know just where to book your pup’s next spa day! Angus was ready (actually past ready because his mom just couldn’t let those puppy curls go) for his first grooming appointment. It’s in SC, and all that black fur was just too much! It was a week of “firsts” for Angus: first rabies shot, first time at the dog park, and first haircut! We chose Groomingdales because of its great Google reviews. Hannah, Angus’s groomer, was so sweet and kind to him! Since it was his first trim, we decided to go with a modified Scottie cut... trim around his eyes, tidy up his ears, take a little off his back, tidy up his “nethers”, and trim his paws. Hannah knew exactly what he needed and suggested that we start with the modified cut since it was his first trip to a groomer and we all wanted it to be stress free for him. He was happy to stay with her, and when I returned about an hour later he was still happy and looked very handsome! We will definitely be back, and will ask for Hannah again! We highly recommend Groomingdales!

This was the first time my pup has been groomed and they explained what they would be doing. They clipped her nails and got her used to the machine noise slowly. She came home happy.

I am very happy with the quality of work of the groomers - they listen to what you need and work with your dog. In general, the staff are all very courteous people, who very clearly love being around dogs. They are very accommodating with my little one (top crate with a view, if there aren't too many dogs in, she gets the 'master suite'). Love them!

When moving to an area it can be challenging to find out the best places to go. We had an excellent experience at Groomingdales with our Standard Poodle. The staff was incredibly friendly and our furry child was happy and looked wonderful when he was done. We will definitely be returning!

We were in town for only two days and they fit both our dogs in and did a great job on both!! They are the same breed (cockapoo) but different personalities and they groomed them each in their own way that fits them so perfectly! Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.

We love Groomingdales! They wash (and sometimes groom) our Goldendoodle. She used to be a little anxious about going, but they are always so gentle and sweet with her that she doesn't balk at all anymore. They do a great job every time, and are just great people!

Our first grooming experience was very positive! I checked out every groomer in the Shandon/Forest Acres area before selecting Groomingdales. I was thrilled with Kristin's work and our Bichon puppy looked amazing after her grooming. I highly recommend Groomingdales to all of my friends!

Had a hard time finding it but thanks to GPS I did and I was not disappointed. I really like this place! Staff was really friendly and patient especially with it being our first time and the many questions I had. Reasonable prices and my dog was actually clean and smelled good. Previous places I've taken her to for baths seemed as if they just sprayed her with a perfume and called it a day. Sadie was happy so we will be returning.

Harley, my labradoodle, smells SO-O good and looks fantastic when she gets home from Groomingdales--all clean and neat. Not to sound like a laundry commercial, but I think her coat is THE whitest and brightest...just shines after her bath! The staff took care to allay any doggie anxieties, and Harley looks forward to her "spa days." I would recommend Groomingdales to any dog wanting to look his or her best!

I absolutely love Groomingdales!! They are all great groomers but Teresa is the best. I just recently took my shih tzu there and once again I am over satisfied. Teresa knows Braxton and he loves her. At 1st he is a little nervous, as expected but the min he gets out of my hands and into hers you can tell he feels at home and is so happy. You can tell they really care about your pups at this place. I showed Teresa a picture and she over exceed my expectations as always. Because I couldn't pick him up, I had to send my husband but Teresa made sure to text me later on that night to ensure I was pleased with her services....I just love her!!! Customer service at it's best!!!! I would definitely recommend groomingdales.columbia to anyone. One of the best places in town and I have been to a few....

My 13 year old shih tzu / poodle mix has always been scared to go to the groomers and the effects would last hours afterwards. Not the case when she started here. Yes, she is still nervous but they are wonderful with her. Also, no more ear infections afterwards. Other groomers would leave her ears wet causing an outrageous vet bill. As groomers, they are excellent, I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
