This store employee needs to be replaced she's disrespectful and has attitude we came to the store at 9:18 Am and was trying to force to sell a specific product to my father and I was requesting her to give us the basic item instead of the pack and she started to shout and wanted to get me out of the store and I asked her nicely to lose the attitude and be kind to her customers and she started to be more disrespectful

This was the worst customer service I've ever encountered in my life!! And I've worked in customer service for 30 yrs. This cashier was pathetic!😒

The price you see on the shelves are not what you will pay at the register. The manager will yell at your for asking about this and tell you that you are wrong or the tag was wrong or the item shouldn't have been in that area in the first place. Then you have associates that will talk with their friends who come into the store regardless of how many people are in line and they don't even care. Extremely ghetto and rude there. This is the only Family Dollar store I have gone to that is so unfriendly and unorganized its amazing they are still operating. I had a whole bunch of items and at the checkout the manager came over and dumped out all of my stuff and said it wasn't for sale because one items was incorrectly marked. When i asked why it was incorrectly marked and placed on the shelf to sell she said because someone hadn't done their job right. Then i asked whose job it was and she said hers. So um, yeah, Avoid it like the plague unless you enjoy overspending and being yelled at for shopping.

I got the cops called on me today at Family Dollar at 3:20pm on May 20, 2019 by a black male manager name Luke 1500 N Millwood Ave, Columbia, SC 29204 just because I wouldn't hand over my purse so he can keep as I shop. After telling him I want to keep my purse with me he tells me " The H*ll you ain't" using profanity towards me and proceed to call 911 immediately.I told him that there is no policy on the door stating this information and it has to be proper documentation from corporate.He tells me its his store. Two cops arrive and he starts getting even louder saying he wants me permanently ban from the store. Remind you that I didn't violate any laws or store policies. I didn't bother to argue with him but tried to ask about products in the store. He also tells me I can't purchase my stuff and to put it back. So I ask him in front of the cops about the stores policies and he repeated in front of the cops on info that I know is incorrect. This all started because I didn't want to hand over my purse in which contained my personal bills, my daily planner with passwords,prescription narcotics, my check book along with my rent renewal lease. and menes items. This happen exactly 5 seconds walking into the store...not 5 minutes or nor even 20 seconds.This is a dude abuses his position to control and be rude to people and if they don't he create reasons to attack them and kick them out the store. What if this were cops looking for a reason to attack me and shot me in this store over this man's control issue with probably any female customer? What if I had got slammed on the floor or my jaw got broken over this none emergency call? Most businesses get charged 500 dollar fine in the college area for calling the cops for non emergency calls. This was not an emergency. All I wanted was to buy hair products and house supplies because it was payday. his behavior was bizarre and unprofessional towards me. Noone has contact me back after emailing corporate. The situation was humiliating & emotional.

Worst store I have ever been to! The staff are highly unprofessional and extremely ghetto! The machines went out so they couldn't accept cards and while I was standing there two employees got into a continuous argument cursing and one pulling a pocket knife out to threaten the other. I called the store owner after walking out and he didn't answer. I left a message and he never called back.If it's not an emergency don't go there!
