This was my first time visiting EastBay Deli, to my surprise they sell Juniors cheesecake, I ordered a corn dog, ceasar chicken salad wrap with avocado and sprouts, fried chicken salad, and 2 slices of cheesecakes. While we were waiting for our food, they were cleaning up all we could smell was Fabuloso(Purple), it wasn't closing time, the cashier was sweeping the floors with gloves on then prepped our food with the same gloves on, she was assisted by someone else, and when we got home we seen that we had a burnt corn dog, my chicken wrap did not have the added avocado and sprouts, we didn't get our sides, the wrap was small. I mean I don't mind the size or price if the food is good, but they completely disregarded the things I added. My friends salad was good and the cheesecake was amazing. However, I had to find something for my grandbaby to eat due to the corndog being burnt and no sides. Called back and was told to come back the next day when a better cook is available...Very disappointed we depend on restaurants to provide us with good quality food especially in this economy with prices being the way they are.

UPDATE: Per the response, I emailed the restaurant regarding my experience. 3 days later, there has been no reply from East Bay Deli whatsoever. This business does not take customer service seriously. Avoid at all costs.Visited with my family for lunch on April 13th around 1PM. Waited 25 mins for our order which included one cold sub, one potato and a kids corn dog. The restaurant was NOT busy and there was no apology from the staff for the wait. When they finally brought the order to the table, they forgot the chips for the sub and the kids meal. Again, no apology. Portions were small, the food was not tasty, and the lettuce on the sub was ROTTEN (see photo). This location has horrible service, and low quality, almost dangerous food with lettuce. Avoid at all costs.

Met a friend here for lunch a few weeks back, she recommended this deli & said it was a comfortable eatery with good food, and although East Bay Deli is just down the road from me, having moved to the Midland three years ago, this was my first experience eating here.From ordering to enjoying what we ordered, we experienced good service & delicious food. I ordered the Charleston Cheesesteak & my friend ordered a giant spud & some soup for lunch.The weather that day was unseasonably warm, so we dined outside, & when our food was ready, they brought our orders out to us.Everything was tasty & overall I enjoyed the the East Bay Deli experience, and would return again in the near future to try other sandwiches & offerings.I would recommend trying this restaurant if you haven't been before. The time of day we visited wa about 1pm on a Thursday afternoon, so it wasn't too busy or crowded, but there were a fair amount of diners there enjoying their lunch, and it does take a little time for them to prepare what you order, do "Fast Food" this ain't! but if a well, put-together sandwich & sides are what you desire, East Bay Deli on Clemson Road is worth checking out.

I have never been to east bay deli before, this was my first time. I went just because I saw there was supposed to be a wonderful salad bar. After ordering I realized not only did the salad bar look disgusting but it is not self service. If I wanted someone else to scoop my salad I would not have come to a place with as awful of a selection of salad toppings. My sandwich was definitely nothing to write home about either. Very sad I went here I got the salad bar refunded though luckily.

EVERYTIME I GO HERE THERE IS AN ISSUE OR ATTITUDE. Only been here 3 times. This 3rd time I did an online Uber eats pickup order. Order said it’ll be ready at 11:12. I come in at 11:12 and finally after being acknowledged after sitting there for 3-4 minutes the lady ask if I had a pickup. I said yes. She said for doordash I responded know it’s for Uber eats. She says nothing at 15 minutes and 3 more orders the cook says WHAT IS HE WAITING ON. Mind you the customers that came in AFTER ME are sitting and eating. She says “he’s waiting on a doordash but the device is not working” after another 5-7 minutes she ask me what was on the order. I FINALLY GET MY FOOD AT 11:38 and the lady says “ oh there you are your food has been ready I couldn’t find you” don’t go here!

Awesome experience! This was my second time coming to this establishment and I'm extremely impressed. On both occasions the customer service was top notch and the food was delicious. On this particular occasion I completed a take out order. The young lady at the salad bar was helpful and personable. The Manager had a wonderful demeanor and was helpful with suggestions while I was deciding on my order. The other staff were friendly and i was greeted with smiles and positive interactions. I was enjoying my conversations and interactions so much that I forgot to check my order upon leaving.I realized that one item was left out of the order. I went back to the store to make them aware and I was automatically greeted with an apology and an sincere effort to correct the mistake. The manager offered me a drink while I waited on the correction along with a full salad (I originally ordered a half) and a delicious dessert. I was overwhelmed by his generosity and his dedication to ensure that I was a satisfied customer. East Bay Deli you have made a permanent customer with me and my family ☺️. Keep up the AMAZING customer service. I highly recommend that you and/or your family visit soon.

I’ve been to this location a few times. Always friendly service and great food. I was trying to do the most today and order a half sandwich and half salad and it turned out to be more than I expected. It was a bit complicated but the staff (a young guy and an older gentleman) were very patient and accommodating. I eventually settled on just a salad. I apologized to them for my back and forth and indecisiveness and they were so gracious and told me “don’t worry about it. It’s ok”. When I received my meal they gave me a nice surprise which wasn’t expected and was appreciated. When I got home the food was delicious. I will certainly be back because of the friendly staff and fresh food.

I appreciate management, clean environment professional atmosphere. The menu is vast when I ask about what’s good …the crew and management are able to tell me what’s good on the menu ….And i had all my food when i got home. That’s a plus. Steven (or Stephen) is the GOAT! Seriously he was working his tail off today taking orders and serving the dining area and salad bar. I ordered my food to go but while I was waiting he was moving none stop but also being diligent and slowing down to speak with customers with full attention and plate food so that it looked appealing to the customer. Keep it up Steven/Stephen and thanks for making my meal with love - the most important ingredient.

My experience was impeccable! The night shift staff, Tiffany, Syan, James, and Kay went above and beyond making my order especially after I messed up the order I placed. They were especially helpful with making the correction upon my request and to top it off, they were in the process of cleaning up to close. Major shout out the night shift!!!

I had the citadel last night and wanted to have my meats cooked on the grill. The chef who was in the back did just as i wanted and cooked it perfectly. The staff is amazing there, and one thing that impressed me is that the manager Stephen came to my table and asked how was i doing and if everything came out ok. normally that only happens in major restaurants. I said yes everything came out great, and i asked why he came to my table. He answered that he simply makes it a point to check on his guest any chance he gets. When he called me a guest it made me feel like it's a great family friendly place not like i was just a number. Definitely will be coming back.

This location is by far my favorite when it comes to service and quality along with quick handling time of any order I've ever ordered. Special shout out to Steven the store manager for also accommodating me with ensuring I still received my birthday cake slice which was seasonal and greatly appreciate it even after my birthday had passed. We even connected on both being Libras this was absolutely wonderful on top of all of my past visits. Thank you all for the Top Notch and exceptional customer care and service.

We have been there a few times and it was OK at best. Last night we went there and had a minor issue and the new manager Stephen came to our table and was extremely gracious. He explained that new management had recently taken over and that they were working on correcting issues and re training the staff to improve customer service and food quality. He went out of his way to make sure we were completely satisfied with everything. If you have been there try them again .

Giving 5 stars but likely won't be back. Went in after work and saw on the window they have beer and wine. When I asked for beer, the girl looked at me like I was crazy. Well no beer or wine. You need to cover that up as it's false advertising. Another thing is that 2 sandwiches, 2 bags of chips, and 2 drinks was $30. That's crazy AND we didn't get our pickles! I know the website you're going to give for comments. Thanks

So glad they put East Bay Deli in the NE. We got our food to go. Called the order in and when I got there food was ready for pickup. The girls up front are nice. Service was great.
