Earth Fare is a really nice and clean market. I brought some fresh produce apples, and salad. Smoked Salmon, I also got some dog food for my baby. They have a deli section where the food is freshly made. I got some cranberry chicken salad it was delicious 🤤Don't miss out!!

I don't get their bag policy. They asked me to leave my 14 by 10 bag in the front, yet they don't have a place to leave it. The suggestion was in the box of boxes. They didn't offer to or desigante anyone to attend to it. I know it used to be for students, but they say it's for all now. They're literally the only grocery that ask you to do this. . . . Why?!The store owner/ manager literally hassled me about not having my veterans ID for the 10% military discount they only offer on Sundays, the one time I didn't have it on me.Other than that, they have a good amount of items that you can't find at other groceries for not competitive prices.I really want to celebrate this place, but they keep getting in their own way.

Recent visit , reduced rating. This store is not well managed.Regularly have wrong products charged ( example, c 50% or time, cremini v portobello mushrooms ALWAYS the wrong / more expensive one charged and then have to wait in line for refund .Store always freezing cold, no smiles, no customer acknowledgementGood quality meat, fish, fruit and veg. Customer service varies dramatically, some very helpful, some totally disinterested. Sales Promotion today on wine and cheese . I asked the staff member at the display about one of the cheeses, “ bread cheese”. What exactly is it ?… “ I don’t know “ was the reply . Management, train your staff !Again today another cashier error, overcharged by $30, ( $32 v $2 for one green pepper ) I pointed out there was an error, was told NO, it’s correct.. I pointed out the price error visible on screen and stated if I can see the error , why not the cashier ????, who then walked off in a huff .

NEVER BEEN TO THE STORE! ATTN MS MOORE RECENT REVIEW! Called the store to get operating hours for the "juice bar"! Employee was so sweet and helpful I decided to read the reviews! The first negative review was MS MOORE, checked the profile button which reveals 32 reviews! Of 32, 28 were negative! Seems like she has a heart ❤️ full of negativity! She has problems everyday, everywhere! I wanted to compliment the GREAT Employee with the great! ❤️ GOOGLE IS NOT THE PROBLEM, PEOPLE ARE!

Went in today for the first time since the re-open. I gotta say, I wasn't impressed. They have much less product than before. Everything is spaced out to make it look full, but it's so much less. I bought a canned matcha drink, only to find out it expired before the store even reopened. Seems like they didn't sell out of everything when they closed and put stuff away in storage, and then restocked it. But maybe check your dates? Gross.

Asked if the manager could order a product, called several times, and still haven't heard back. Went across the street to Whole Foods and got better customer service. Complained to corporate, who said someone would be contacting me, but it never happened. Clearly, customer service isn't a priority. They lost my business permanently!

Great selection of staples and organic/local foods, friendly and helpful staff, and decent pricing (especially if you join their rewards/email list). We've been shopping Earth Fare as our primary grocery since they've re-opened and hardly ever feel the need to go to Publix or any other local, normal grocery competitor!

Please train your baggers better. We were there today and the bagger put a huge thing of soy sauce in with lots of frozen items (which weaken a paper bag with moisture) and single bagged it. I walked just a few feet from the car to my kitchen and had glass and soy sauce all over everything in my white kitchen. I just got done cleaning it up. Receipt number 236011. We typically bring our bags with us but didn't this time, which wouldn't have been an issue if you trained your baggers not to set people up for a nasty surprise. If I had watched her bag things and not been distracted talking with the cashier, I would have stopped that stupidity. With other places to get vegan food nearby, I hope you take this complaint seriously.

Glad to write this review. I called other places for frankincense essential oil and finally found it here at a reasonable price. It appears this product is in high demand and out of stock at some local pharmacies. The clerk was patient, located it and told me all I needed to know. Twenty minutes later I was at the store. This was around 5pm on a Sunday and the customer service was excellent. I recommend this store for WELLNESS products.

It reminds me of a health food store back home and it had a good variety. Unfortunately I had a live bug in my daily salad and that affected the review. Now I'm thinking they don't wash their lettuce. Thanks for the easy return.

Great quality of cheese, meat, and a variety of desserts. The bakeries in Earth Fare is always good and tasty. The flavor, and texture of the cakes will impress you!

First, I am glad Earthfare reopened and I go there all the time, but it’s clear the store is struggling in some areas. I keep forgetting to not buy ice cream here because every time I do it has a bad flavor and that melted-then-refrozen texture. I try to stay away from the frozen and prepared foods sections.

Have tried multiple times in the last month to find a manager to get information about a product that's disappeared from the frozen foods section. I've tried to ask if they've stopped carrying this product that I've been buying from them for quite a while now and CANNOT get an answer. Also they can't answer if they're going to start carrying it again. No one knows who to ask, we keep talking in circles about why they now don't have a particular item from a brand that they're carrying and that they've carried for ages. The double talk and "no clue" is highly frustrating when I'm trying to shop with a nearby local store that the community tries to support.

Google says they are open until 9, but I went in at 6pm and felt like they were closing up the store. I wanted to get some meats from the counter but no one was there. There was no hot food available and all the cold bars were covered. There were no rotisserie chickens or anything else to grab that was already made besides the refrigerated items that you can cook in the oven at home. This was on a weekday which I think is prime shopping time for people getting off work and wanting to grab something for dinner (me included). I went out of my way to come here instead of Whole Foods but looks like I will be going to Whole Foods now

The best grocery store in Columbia! Love it! Haven’t lived in Columbia in years and was disappointed when I learned they closed EarthFare locations but was happy to hear they re-opened it! Expensive but worth the price! The staff is wonderful! I shop here whenever I come back to visit Columbia! Fantastic store!

I've only shopped there a couple of times and it seems great so far. The organic vegetables are pretty great. They also do have a great variety of nuts, milk, ice cream ( i love the green tea mochi). I bought a couple of different flavored coffee creamers and they were pretty good too.

I love the fresh, healthy salad bar! It always has a wide variety of healthy items and changes somewhat from day to day. Yet the staples are always on it. The hot bar is good too, with great mac and cheese, better than Whole foods down the street. And the price here is less than Whole Foods. The store does have a good selection of healthy items and the prices are reasonable for organic foods. They just need to work on the attitudes of some workers as they should be more friendly, helpful and outgoing, my only complaint.November 27, 2018:Recently I had a bump in with the deli manager. She is downright mean and rude, plus an incompetent manager. Recently the mac and cheese has become blah, often dry with not much cheese. The food bar is not maintained well causing me to constantly having to ask for food and other items to be refreshed and restocked. Cashiers are often not available in the deli or are slow to respond causing customer jams. The eating area often has dead bugs and dirt on the window sills and live flies during warm weather. The trash cans are often left to overflow. The cashiers often are not well trained in deli, needing to call for help. The deli manager needs to address these and other problems or customers like me will always request the problems be corrected which annoys the manager. She also seems to have a bit of prejudice about her as she will not interview all who job apply.

I shop here at least once a week - typically for breakfast - and have been pleased with the service. The bakery always makes tasty treats and the cashiers are pleasant. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that the coffee consistently has lots of grounds in it.

We love Earth Fare! We've recently tried to eat healthier, and Earth Fare has been a great help. They particularly have great sales on meat and produce. There are lots of specialty items here. Hoping they will add more raw options in the future. I have a hard time finding much in the way of dried beans here. Overall, this is a great place to find specialty health foods.

My husband and I shop at this earthfare almost every day. I splurged and bought some prepackaged steaks the other day and when I took them out of the package to marinate them they smelled awful and rotten. This was 7 days prior to the expiry date. When I went to return them I was told I couldn't because I didn't have my receipt even though it is a brand that is not sold anywhere else. (At this point one of the steaks had turned green by the way - very fitting since the name of the brand is Verde). All l was told I could do was exchange them. I did so, worrying that I would just get more bad steaks since they were probably from the same batch. I got home and we opened them up and the first one smelled ok, the 2nd smelled rotten.My intention was to go in and not only get my money back for the steaks that I splurged on, but also kindly let them know that the prepackaged steaks they were selling that had an expiration date way in the future were bad, and they might want to check all of them so that more people didn't buy them. I also assumed they would let me return them even though I lost my receipt because they are a small local grocery store chain. And it was a unique brand of prepackaged steaks that only earthfare carries. I have been able to return very common name brand stuff to Publix without a receipt. I figured then, that earth fare would be more than accommodating.Instead I happened to go when there was only one person working the check-out, who must have felt rushed as there was a long line, and who didn't even try to be helpful and wait for me to explain my story. And I ended up with more rotten steak.Once again I shop here every day. I don't intend to anymore.

Poor customer service. 10 customers in line to check out on Sunday morning 4/22/18 and only one checkout line open. Finally the manager opened a second line. When I said something about the lack of customer service, she ignored me completely. This store lacks and sense of care for customers. Also in the past year or more the food bar has really boring food choices. 2015-16 I was buying lunch for my company at the Earth Fare food bar daily, everyone loved the food. Now we go other places because the food has gotten so bad. Wonder who they are running this store for? Obviously not the customers! Also several of the employees have confirmed to me these same issues about this store. Management needs to be replaced starting at the top.

Amazing store with tons of healthy options. I like going here to get my shampoo and conditioner and other all natural hygiene products. They also have a large selection of supplements. Employees are always very nice. Yes, the prices are up there but you do have to pay more for higher quality items.

The staff are consistently rude. There seems to be an extremely negative workplace culture which directly leads to poor treatment of customers. Every time I shop at Earth Fare, I walk into the store happy, and walk out of the store upset.
