I have to say that I’m a bit gobsmacked at the response that I received this morning when I asked, if an early check-in was feasible as an Honor Rewards Member. It was suggested to me that I could go to Comfort Suites when the front desk clerk was asked if I’d be able to reserve my room myself and receive my discounts. I was informed that in order to check in early in one of their available rooms my options were to pay full price or go to Comfort Suites.I’m very disappointed because the service is generally beyond reproach but this time around it’s leaving something to be desired.A huge swing and a miss, to tell a loyal patron to go to another chain or pay full price is a travesty.I’ve frequented this location several times as it’s relatively close to my job, and this is the first time that I’ve been told to go elsewhere.As a traveling Clinician, I’ve utilized the services of several different chains and this is the first I’ve been told to go somewhere else.Please do better

Great place to stay for business or vacation. I'm surprised at the few negative reviews... NO hotel is perfect. I have stayed at this Hampton Inn several times for the last 5 years and would highly recommend. As always, everything is GREAT! Lacey goes above and beyond for customers in any situation. I have not incurred one disrespectful employee.

The young ladies at the Front Desk Amber and Annalise offered me great customer service. This location is very warm and inviting. It's a great location. It's minutes away from several eateries, gas stations and the highway.The room was nice. It was relaxing and calming.Keep up the good work. Will definitely come again when I'm in the area.Food & drinks: Lots of options

I've left one review. But my issues were not addressed. The BLOOD FOUND ON my sheets. That not one but several guest seem to be experiencing. Is atrocious! The fact you trying to blame the guest for this is absolutely ludicrous.The fact that you have housekeepers with open sores roaming the hallway with skeleton key. Those same house keepers are freely having discussions about doing drugs on this property. Are you not testing these people before you let them just enter people's room?What kind of operation are you running here?I hope the owners pay attention to these reviews! Because your current management team seems to be running this place into the ground.And most likely all of them tested for drugs.

When I arrived and went to my room, I found that the toilet in my room did not work. The young lady at the desk immediately changed my room. She was very kind and helpful. The 2nd room was clean and nice. Yet, the heat didn't work. I called and was told someone would fix it. It was very cold out, leaving the room nearly unbearable. No one came. I was exhausted and went to bed, fully dressed, with a hearing pad and an extra blanket doubled. The next day, I had to call 2x before someone came (2+ hours between calls) and ended up having to leave to shower and dress elsewhere. It was fixed when I got back, but the first night was awful.The room was clean, staff were friendly and accommodating, but the hotel was full and it was unfortunate that I had to endure this temperature all night...and not be able to dress in my room.

Unaware of an error with our hotel reservation that occurred with the original booking, Annalise went above and beyond to accommodate us. She was very patient and worked with the American Express representative that was assisting me with my original reservation error. She took the time to help us. She was very professional and very pleasant to work with.

Some red head works your front desk correct? The assistant general manager has the most unprofessional neck tattoos. IM DEFINITELY SURE I HAVE THE CORRECT LOCATION.There have been several cars broken into. The road to the hotel is dark and unsafeThe housekeepers on drugs was a lady by the name of Crystal.. she had open sores on her arm, during my last stay.Nice to know you didn't mention anything about the blood on my sheets. Which is the most unsanitary thing you can find. Or the fact that you have meth heads with skeleton keys to a hotel. Which another guest had the same issue same week.THE COMFORT SUITES / THE DAYS INN.. and even the travelers inn.Which I have stayed at during my travels. I have Never found blood in my sheets.When this hotel open it was fantastic.Not now.

Excellent Pet Friendly Hotel. The hotel was spotless as was our room. Staff was welcoming and genuinely engaged in making our stay the best it could be. Truly exceptional staff! Check in and check out were easy. Breakfast was above the norm for Hamptons. The pet fee was on the generous side at $75 for 1-4 days, but on very short notice they had a room and welcomed our canine travelling companion. The area is quiet and safe.An excellent choice if you are travelling with a pet....or not.Safety: Safe and quiet area

Bed sheets with blood stains and dirt. Enough said.Hard to find behind a gas station. Staff friendly enough but room was not cleaned well. They said "sorry" but didn't fix it or provide a make good of any kind.Used to use this as a go to. Not anymore.

Our room was a very poor remodel. My husband is a remodel contractor so he's a bit picky. Overall the place needs a deep cleaning. Not your typical Hampton.The front desk attendant was very nice.Food & drinks: I liked the set up of the lobby snacks and drinks.

This hotel is in a great location off I26 but their room is nasty. They have bugs all in the rooms. Manager only gave $25 discount. My next visit to Clinton I will take my hard earn money and spend it on a quality hotel. The hilton need not to partner with Hampton Inn.Also, I noticed other negative reviews, Hampton sent a long message try to justify . They must be angry with the truth.

I wish I could find this level of customer service uniformly across the Hilton brand. Becky was a true standout. From the first contact through checkout, she went above and beyond (in my traveled opinion) to make our stay fit our needs. It didn't stop there. Everyone I met seemed to care. If I could count on this level of true customer service everywhere my travels take me I would exclusively stay at Hilton brands. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Someone with a corner office should take note of this team. This should be the norm with the Hilton brand, not the exception. To Becky, I say thank you. To the managers of this property, I say well done. Even with apparent age this was a very comfortable stay. To Hilton, I say this team deserves attention. I will travel out of my way to stay here again. Solely based on the service.Safety: Never felt uncomfortable.

Found the bed linen sheets were not clean when getting into bed for the evening. A lot of human hair from prior guest was in the bed sheets, and it did not appear the sheets were not washed following prior guest’s stay. I went to the front desk and the front desk attendant was quick to move me to another room. In 38 years of very frequent business travel, this was the first time I’ve ever had to change rooms due to uncleanliness of a guest room. Very disappointed. Again, the young lady at the desk was very prompt, responsive, and empathetic to my unfortunate situation.

The check in guy was great and so nice but the manager was not helpful with an issue and she wasn’t even friendly or apologetic. It could be a great property but I didn’t feel it was as clean as most Hilton properties, including other Hampton Inns. Breakfast was good and the check in guy gave my friend and I warm cookies when we arrived while we waited to discuss a booking issue. He should be the manager!

The air condition was not working on the hallway, the elevators or in the indoor pool area. It was extremely hot. The manager said that it broke 3 weeks prior. It was never mentioned on the website or at the time of check in. Customers should have been informed before accepting their money.Rooms: The room was very cool and comfortable.Safety: It was in a safe place and someone was always at the front desk.Walkability: The hotel sits back off the road. It's a good walk to the stores and food spots but is on a good strip.

Maybe it was just because of my super hard and stressful day, but I felt like a well taken care of guest. Despite me being dirty and in old clothes, I was greeted with great enthusiasm and a very attentive front desk. I felt welcome and they asked a good many questions if I was ok. My room was very clean and comfy with a huge TV. After staying in a roach motel the night before it was just wonderful! Breakfast was great too. Well worth the price for the room I would have paid more to be honest. Great job!

Nice hotel, very clean. The pool is really small and we weren't able to use it because there were too many people in it at the time. The room was comfortable and clean.The breakfast COULD have been really good but they ran out of eggs and sausage and we were left with waffles or cereal.

The absolute best hotel stay I have ever had. Everything was very clean. Every single person in the hotel said hello with a smile and made me feel welcome! I checked in frustrated from car troubles and left feeling relaxed and very well taken care of. I did not come across not a one bad person in Clifton, SC ❤️ Angela, Shae, Melissa, Theresa, Sarah, and special shout out to Mr. Randy! Y’all run a wonderful establishment and I see myself going out of my way in the future to stay here again!

Our room was very clean it was very nice. The lobby was very nice and clean. We will stay here again. Staff very friendly and kind. Keep doing what your doing. The shower was awesome.Food & drinks: We ate at Fatz walking distance from hotel. Very nice after a long day of traveling.
