When at the Deli, we ordered a pound of ham shaved, clerk said ok proced cut the meat my wife wanted to cut it thinner, he cut meat thicker, I told him that's not shaving as we wanted, he gained a attitude saying it on 0 thinest I can cut it( we go to food lion regularly) I told him we come here often other clerks do as we ask, he slammed the meat on the scale and walked a way from the Deli. Very unprofessional, more training needed for this employee.

They never pull expired food and gave me a huge attitude when I asked to return expired food that they sold me even with a receipt. First she accused me of lying then said she’d check the cameras. Avoid at all costs.

The store is currently undergoing renovations and therefore is missing floor tiles in much of the store. The produce was well stocked and good. The ice cream section was almost completely empty. Allergy medicines for we're woefully understocked. Plenty of junk food and sodas. The meat section was fully stocked but steaks were packaged unevenly (very different sized cuts packaged together).

Last time I was here it was a Bi-Lo. They've got what you need & keep the wine towards the front... way to cater to your customer base lol. It was clean, the employees were nice. It was quiet.

I went to your store this evening with 2 of my grandchildren. We had a most pleasant experience due to your superb customer service. We where greeted by a gentleman in the prepared food section. On check out my granddaughter spilled her coins purse with coin’s everywhere. The cashier came out and helped pick up the change. On the way out. My youngest granddaughter dropped the blueberries and they went everywhere A young man employee was on top of it and said he had an employee with a broom on the way. He took the partially empty container and returned with a new fresh container of blueberries. At this time it started raining hard outside. The employee offered me a umbrella to get to the car. I said please give to the lady in the electric cart. He brought 2. One for each of us. It was such a pleasant experience with your staffs support. Thank youFrances Crane.

It's 6pm and everyone is in the store. I came in for one single item... Explain why the absolute heck do you not have one self check out open. I really shouldn't have to wait in line to check out one item behind 3 families that all have half full carts. Also, your manager special meats have been expired multiple times. Once I bought $15 worth of chicken, got home on the same day to cook it and it was expired. Seriously?

I would just like to recognize an employee by the name of Maddie at the location in Clinton, SC. I needed assistance in the produce department and I didn't see a single employee in that department or on either of the 4 aisles that I looked on. Maddie spotted me when she was standing at the end of the check out and asked if I was ready to check out. I explained that I actually needed assistance first. She went on a journey of looking for someone and she didn't have any luck either. She told me that she couldn't move too far away from her register but she knew how to get me some help asap. She told me to go back to the produce department and someone would be there to assist me. Sure enough, approximately 45 seconds later, a manager with a huge smiling face and a great personality greeted me. I hate that I didn't get his name but he was a great example of how a manager should treat their customers. He quickly went to the back and got me what I was requesting. He was very kind and even apologized that noone was there to help me earlier. I feel that these 2 employees should be recognized for the good that they are bringing to Food Lion. It is much needed in today's society.

Excellent selection. The only thing they have been out of heavy whipping cream since before Thanksgiving. The lady did tell me it was a store wide shortage and I cannot find it in this area at any store anywhere. The prices were very reasonable and the store was very clean and the grocers were super friendly.

Doing some remodeling, but clean with good prices. UPDATE Remodeling complete. Very clean,shelves stocked, prices are reasonable and their weekly ads are very good. Sign up for MVP card you start to save a lot of money. Total saving thru 3/10/23 is $300. This figure includes ad savings, electronic coupons and dollars earned by buying so much of something for each month. June UPDATE. I usually go to the Food Lion in Greenwood off SC 25. Today I was in Clinton and it is not as good as the Food Lion in Greenwood. Adequate, but I will go to Greenwood from now on. Better selection, lots of empty spaces.

The employees are nice and very helpful and polite. Would have given 5 stars but they are remodeling so the floors need to be finished and finish up rearranging the food aisles. Other than that it's a great place to shop and when they finished that up it will be excellent.

Online shopping is a roll of the dice. Frequently getting items different from what was ordered, wrong size containers, poor quality produce. Most of the products are correct, but attention to detail is lacking.

Not a whole lot to say. I mean, it's a grocery store not the Statue of Liberty. But I've been there (Food Lion, not Lady Liberty, 😄) plenty of times since they opened and have nothing to complain about. Decent selection, prices, and above average service.

I'm 65 so if I want to buy some beer don't card me just hit over 21! If I don't want to be carded and say just take the beer off then just take it off! It shouldn't be a big deal but for a couple that work there it is!

They do some things well. Overall the selection of food is good but I can’t get over the fact they constantly put expired food on the shelves. Severs time I have had to throw food away once I got home. It’s unacceptable and a waste of money. Also the the meat is terrible. Poor selection and very few options.

Edit #2:This food Lion has continued to improve and impress me with an ever-increasing vegan selection, and unique produce like sprouts (bean and alfalfa) that you can't get and basically any other store in a 30 mile radius.I don't know if they're under new management, or food Lion is just going in New direction, but I'm super pleased with both this location and the Greenwood one. However this location tends to be much less busy, and they have a whole bunch of self checkouts which is so much much better than having to stand in the really long lines at the Greenwood location because they don't have self checkout options.I really enjoy shopping at the store and will continue to do so regularly.I'm actually going to edit this, it doesn't merit a five-star, but, I will say I've been a few more times in the last month or so because it is much closer to my home than any other grocery store, and they have increased their vegan selection substantially, and they're no longer quite as aggregiously overpriced. In fact, they are generally cheaper than or the same price as Walmart with the exception of a few items like frozen dessert items or entrees, a lot of convenience meals? And things like that tend to be pricier here but are often on sale. The sale price generally being the same as say Walmart's price, now Walmart has been jacking up their prices left and right, but almost all the produce here is cheaper and of higher quality, and I would much rather pay $0.10 more for a package of vegan cheese at this food Lion to keep them open and in business and thriving then I would give $0.10 less to Walmart to get s***** service and produce and keep paying them and absorbently large amount of money because they've jacked up their prices in the wake of a false inflation scare.This food Lion's prices have not really increased. And the items that they have increased on are very specific. Most other local supermarkets, like Aldi and Lidl still run excellent sales that if they do have items that are more expensive than they were last year, they're generally items that are more expensive anyway because of the difficulty we are currently facing growing them with the climate crisis destroying most of California.Things like avocados, almond milk, etc. Food Lion also offers rebates, coupons, and sales that all stack together. It is actually cheaper than the Walmart you would drive 10 miles further for.

Actually, disappointing. This brand is new to this location. I am familiar with the brand and have shopped it in the Atlanta area for many years, though never my #1 grocery store. This store didn't seem fully stocked and I found the prices on the higher side. I was looking forward to shopping there but it will not be my go to grocery store when I am in the area.
