Whenever we visit Clemson University for a game or to see our son, Tri-County Ace is a place that we always stop.As you enter the store, immediately to the left is a display of Clemson University swag. You can go to the usual places on campus or downtown, but this store has many items you just won't find in the usual Clemson stores. Whether it's metal yard signs or tailgating accessories, Ace always has something I can purchase that I like and I have not seen elsewhere. In addition, the prices are always great.Where I live you get the big box chains. The associates in this store are always friendly and very helpful. Something to be said for having them approach you, versus spending your time looking for someone who you eventually find, and then they have to call someone else.Store is well organized and the signs are visible and easy to guide you to the various sections. Great selection of items that are available for purchase, and overall just a clean, enjoyable experience.Again, cashier not only greets you when you come in, but there are many friendly and knowledgeable associates throughout the store to assist you if you need it.Next time you are in town, stop by and check it out for yourself.

I don't live within proximity of this store but I needed plumbing supplies that only Ace sells. The layout is different from what I'm used to, but is very easy to navigate as are all of the Ace stores I've been to. I was greeted nicely as soon as I walked in and was offered help right away. I'm impressed how the staff know the exact location of anything you're asking for. I know if need be, I will definitely be back.

Clean, well stocked spacious. Super friendly and helpful staff. The stoplight would not change to get out of the lot but access is easy and parking lot big. They had what I needed.

Just had an all around great experience buying a new grill. Very friendly and helpful in store staff. Knowledgeable and took the time to help us out 1:1 to find the exact grill for us, while not being "salesy" at all. Found a great upgrade from our old grill with much better service than would've had at Home Depot or Lowes. Super fast and friendly delivery with Redd (or Rhett)! Walked in at noon and grilling by 4pm is hard to beat!

We need more local hardware stores like this. Certainly the big box stores can offer better prices on some items. But you'll never get the quality of service and attention you get at these stores. This Ace is filled with knowledgeable and friendly people. And when you're in need of one unique screw or two bolts you don't have to buy a package of 30. I always walk into this store with a shopping list of three items and walk out with at least six. It's like I'm a kid in a candy store.

Very unique Ace store. When you walk in you immediately notice the difference between this and other Ace store. This store has a selection of sundries that really set it apart. It was a fun experience. We took note of that special stocking stuffer type gift that we have not seen in other stores.the staff were mostly friends except that upon check out and upon offering grateful thank you to the cashier for the unique experience which was quickly dismissed. She stated that she heard it maybe to often :/

This is all around a fantastic store. It is super clean and organized. The staff are all friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable. Every time I have gone here I have received outstanding customer service and had a pleasant experience. I have been together ace hardware‘s and received great service also however this one definitely takes it up an extra notch. Way to go.

We walked in to purchase a new axe. The store was clean and we were welcomed upon entering the store. We went to the tools and found a better product than we were looking for. The price rang up higher than what was marked. The cashier sent someone back to see the price. He saw that multiples of the same tools were stocked with the wrong price. He went to ask the manager what "he wanted to do about it". The manager, Budd, was extremely rude and would not budge on the price, even though it was stocked, in his store and marked with a lower price. He didn't offer other products and simply said he wouldn't do anything about it. We left and went to the ace in Seneca where the people were MUCH friendlier and helped us find what we needed. We did end up paying full price, because the tool was stocked where it was supposed to be, in Seneca but we truly didn't mind because of the good customer service.

I've been shopping here since 1999. Well stocked, prices meet or beat the big box stores. The staff is always friendly and knowledgdable. In addition, they are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer's needs are met!

very helpful, clean & well -organized store. i was looking for a dolly /cart, and it was in a box; the staffer took the time to put it together for me. they have a great variety of items for sale, including lots of university sport items. the cashier was very friendly and helpful as well, and pointed out something i might have missed.i took one star away because the handicapped spaces are not the closest to the door - they are closest to the ramps, which are in the wrong place. both h/c parking & the ramps need to be right next to the doors.

Nice variety. Staff gave me hints so I wouldn't have to buy more stuff. They had a nice section of Clemson items. Found a bird feeder accessory much nicer that what I had found at the Lowe's or Home Depots I had checked

We forget what his name is but he has curly hair and was the friendliest guy you will ever meet and knew where everything in the store was. Elysia was so helpful as well and both had such a positive attitude. If there’s something they can’t find then they will bring out someone who can. I will go to Ace Hardware for all of my hardware needs!

In review of Bryan Fraser comment we are not afraid to cut key blanks but they have to be purchased from us. Company rules state and I quote key blanks not bought from Ace Hardware or bought online or from a 3rd party site cannot be cut in our store.

The staff is always friendly and helpful! It's more than just a hardware store. They have many items beyond your typical hardware store, such as Carhartt clothing, porch furniture, and Clemson tailgating essentials!
