Ordered my food and it was out in less than 5 minutes! My favorite is The Apollo and, when available, I get the pasta salad. Delicious! I was there tonight and the cashier made great conversation and made the whole experience welcoming. I will surely miss the Clemson Groucho’s when I move.

I love the food here! You definitely cannot go wrong with an Apollo and the Formula "45" sauce with a sweet tea. It is hands down amazing!! The staff here is very friendly too. Groucho's is the place to eat in downtown Clemson.

This is our "go to" place. We've been eating at Groucho's for probably 30 years, but I will have to admit we haven't tried everything on the menu. Just the "Apollo Dipper" and the "My Wife's Favorite Salad". Ok, it's the "45 sauce" that we are addicted to. Oh, the food is great, but the 45 sauce is honestly addictive. We order two extra with a sandwich (1 is just for the chips) and 3 extra for the salad. (We split the salad, so that gives us two each). We have eaten at 4 different locations and every time the food is fantastic and the service is incredibly friendly. Prices are reasonable, and they have the very fine crushed ice so the drinks are super refreshing...and fast, friendly, free refills.Do it..get the 45 sauce and experience life at another level.

First but certainly not the last time I will eat here. Really good sandwiches, with pickle spear and chips. The signature recipe sauces are amazing. The blondies are also really good. One of the best sandwich shops around!!

Crazy good! First time there (and foreigners) - staff super helpful and provided great suggestions.Love me a good sandwich. Opted for the club and did not regret decision. Good helping of meat and didnt walk away feeling gross and feeling fat remorse.Special sauce? Hell yeah - bathe me in that stuff.Pickles? All day long.Ate in the truck in the parking lot though - if was warmer, would have sat on their patio. How about a garbage can outside?Will go again next time im in town. And probably the next day.

Quaint little place tucked away off the main drag. Sandwiches are good, and fresh. Service was excellent. Sweet tea was insanely (good) sweet. (A little too sweet for my tooth, but I "cut" it with a little unsweetened tea and it was just as good. Sweetness is a personal thing. Don't think me saying it was too sweet as a bad thing...just a personal preference.). I have 2 kids at Clemson so I know we'll be back.

Excellent sandwich! I tried the Apollo and was very happy with it. First time there & staff was great, food was tasty. Took a little longer than I would have liked but there was three in my party & the two hot sandwiches arrived hot & ready to eat. Little pricier than I would have thought - three sandwiches with included sides and three drinks for $32 plus tip. But I got good value for my dollar and I'm happy I went. When I'm in Clemson again, I'll be going back.

I have been looking all over Anderson, and beyond for the best salad. I found it at the Clemson location when I was out working the other day! Then I realized there was one in Anderson now closer to where I live! Soo excited I finally tried this place. I dunno why I've put it off. Also had the pastrami and rye with spicy mustard and it was pretty dang good. But back to the salad.. it was huge! The toppings were very fresh and obviously made to order. The ranch was homemade tasting. Same price as a small salad everywhere else around. I got the turkey bacon salad. Can't wait to try the Anderson one. I felt good after eating it. Very high quality food. You have a new customer for life.

Food is okay, however the overall cleanliness of this place is in question. Floors didn’t appear to be cleaned in months and had a weird odor in the building. Staff was terribly friendly when I went on Thursday after 2. Was overall disappointed with this location. I found McAlister’s Deli to have a cleaner and friendlier store

Fresh tasty deli right in the heart of downtown Clemson. My wife and I stopped by for lunch. This place is busy but there is a reason for that, the food is great! Families, college students, and workers stopping in on their lunch break were there. There's outside seating to take in the nice views of downtown. Or eat inside in the AC. Our sandwiches, the White Moose and the Pink Moose were awesome. Hot, fresh and delicious. I'd stop here again. You should too. You won't be disappointed.

I was traveling yesterday from Charlotte, NC, and heard that Groucho's was a really good place to eat. Knowing that take-out was only available now, I stopped by to pickup up an order. The manager welcomed me, was so pleasant and helpful, as well as being courteous and professional, even during these uncertain times. It was nice to talk to him while my order was being filled, and I will certainly stop there again when I am in the area. And my order, a chicken pita, was delicious -- Hats off to James!!

Great sandwiches. Highly recommend the big Dipper. Make sure to get the formula 45 sauce as well. Food came out fast and the service was good. The newly paved parking lot is also a nice addition as well. Makes the place seem much nicer. Also this place has the best ice ever in their cups. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been eating here for 3 years. And they’ve always made my customer service their top priority. The waitresses are super friendly and they genuinely care about us customers. I highly suggest eating here, especially during Clemson game days. They’ve always brought my food out quick and warm. And I’ll state that this is one of the best restaurants in Downtown Clemson. Go tigers!
