I adopted a beautiful kitten from Chesterfield County Animal Shelter in NC. I named her Sapphire (Dory). Everyone is friendly and willing to help. I was having trouble on the website to fill out an application online. I couldn’t write the information in. I called their office and was told that sometimes you can’t fill out the application online. Elizabeth was super helpful and told me to complete the application and text it to her. If she wouldn’t have helped me, I would not be holding my precious kitten now!! I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fur baby adopt here. You will not be disappointed!

They are very sweet people and trying to find these fur babies forever homes .please get you fur baby neutered, spayed and shots it's very important to maintain a healthy pet..

I myself have volunteered there and the place is very sweet and clean,everyone is super caring and all the animals that are sick seem to be looking better every time I go!

My advice to Chesterfield County residents is that if you need animal control assistance expect to do it yourself.

They were very nice to my dog and the price to get her out after they picked her up in the middle of the road, was only 25 dollars.
