Watson Farms is beyond good, they are GREAT! The beef is so delicious and tender. Their pasture chicken and eggs are delectable! Professionally packaged. All meals we make with their meats are devoured immediately. I love their delivery service as well! Once a week I have brought to my door everything we need. We had come across a friend who purchased from Watson farms. We decided to make a purchase , half cow, quarter pig. The meat is amazing and if you’re trying to control what the animals you eat are fed then I recommend checking this place out. Grass fed and finished . Can’t beat the flavor

I love Watson farms meats, eggs and products from their vendors. They deliver and also UPS certain products. They taste clean and far superior than grocery store meats and eggs. I don't shop at corporate grocery stores anymore. I also get my fruits and veggies from a vendor who does business with Watson Farms and other farms. So there are very few food items I have to buy outside of a farm. Watson Farms are also up front on how they farm so there is no guessing.

I will never go back to buying meat at a grocery store again! The difference in quality and taste is something that can’t be put into words, and you have to try for yourself. I also feel great about supporting a local business, farm and family that puts so much care into their product and that strives to produce said product in the most sustainable and humane way possible. Be sure to read about their farming practices on their website and checkout their videos on YouTube. I’m so grateful that I have access to such amazing food right here in my state!

Our first Pasture Picks box and our 3 dozen eggs were delivered on time. We received ground beef in several one pound packages, pork chops, a London Broil roast, steak, multiple packages of white and dark meat chicken, a fresh pork ham roast, ground pork, and pork bratwurst. . Very pleased! We have cooked 2 packages of the ground beef, the fresh pork ham roast, and we have the London Broil marinated and ready to go for today’s dinner. Thank you Watson Farms!

For years the Watsons have been our go to farm for beef, chicken, pork and eggs. Needing to use organic meats, we have always been so pleased with anything we receive. We first started with Watsons when we would have to met them in down town Rock Hill.Since relocating to the Greenville area , we are so thankful we are one of the stops for delivery. they have become good friends and we so appreciate how hard they work to assure quality products

Ribeye steak was great. Egg yolks are very pale yellow with a film on some and extremely small. Like Vital Farms eggs much better. Beef ribs are actually short ribs and were very tough and chewy. I did write the company and they couldn't have cared less. Would not recommend.

This is my experience with Watson Farms.Ordering the whole pig was easy, making the deposit was easy.Kelly was good at communicating with me as the expected delivery was about 2 months away.I got an email about what cuts I wanted and specifications for processing.During this time I also ordered a beef rib roast to be delivered with the pork. The rib roast was going to be Christmas dinner. I paid for it through the online shop and it included the $12.95 delivery fee. I was assured that I wouldn’t be charged twice and I wasn’t.I received an email about the hanging weight (213 lbs.) and the final cost minus the deposit.I received a text alerting me for delivery the day prior with approximate times. This was automated and do not reply. I found that pretty cool and it indicated that Watson farms had their act together.When delivery day came, I received another automated text telling me the driver should arrive within 30 minutes.The truck arrived, backed up to my driveway and unloaded 5 big boxes. It was Matt Watson himself. He’s friendly and amicable.The pork came cryo-vacced in plastic and labeled with a description and weight in pounds. I ended up with 163 pounds of pork. The final cost was about $5.35 per pound for pasture raised pork.I got most of the items I wanted but not all. I don’t know what is legal to sell in North Carolina from the processor that Watson farms utilizes. During my email exchange with Kelly she informed me that pigs feet were unavailable. I have previously received pigs feet from a South Carolina packing company. I did not get the liver or ears that I had requested but I got the tail and some bones. Next time I’m going to request everything available.Is the pork good?Yes, very good although I haven’t tried all the cuts yet.The pork is reddish-pink and not lean. This is good because I don’t want “The other white meat” which is dry and flavorless. The pork chops taste good. The bacon is both fatty and meaty in good proportions. The breakfast sausage and bratwurst however did not weep out a lot of grease when cooked. I think that’s good because it shows a nice balance of meat and fat.Is the beef good?Yes, very good. It was bright red and well marbled. It cooked up beautifully for Christmas. Later it made a great hash and even later we made sandwiches.Overall, I’m very satisfied with ordering from Watson farms. I’ve told lots of friends and acquaintances about them and recommend them.4/27/22Update on whole pigThe pork has been excellent. It’s all well marbled with fat. Recently, I’ve smoked some hocks and bones. Those will go in a batch of red beans (and rice). I smoked some ham and the tail. The tail I requested so I could make Brazilian Feijoada. Kelli was very accommodating with that. She also made sure I got the shoulder skin-on. It made delicious Cuban style pork roast.Watson farms is very customer friendly. If you haven’t ordered yet, you’re missing out.

I just made burgers last night with the ground beef that we purchased a couple of weeks ago at Watson Farms and was absolutely blown away by how much better it was than store bought. It was literally like eating a chopped up steak rather than just a homogenous meat. I'm sold!

Great food, great service.It's awesome to visit when they have their "open house" farm days. Local vendors are there, food trucks, farm tours and explanations of how the farm runs. The meat is great and you know that you are receiving a well cared for animal that has little manipulation that is currently going on in our US food system. Watson Farms is a great alternative for a safer, healthier product. The price is definitely higher than your mass produced grocery option, but that should be expected. I only wish that they offered more than 10% discount specials on a wider variety at the common man's budget. It would be great to have a few coupon codes like they used to do in the newsletter. A loyalty rewards program for every dollar spent would be awesome too!

I started getting monthly deliveries about 6 months ago. I had done a-lot of research on Watson Farms, so I knew that they were providing humane and natural conditions for their animals. I also knew that the meat would be nutrient rich and not susceptible to using chemicals or growth hormones to achieve desired end state. The animals are raised and fed naturally. I knew all that going in. I was surprised though by the high quality of the product, not just the quality of the meat (I assumed it would be good), but the packaging, the delivery, the customer service, the communications. They have not made a mistake in any of the orders, the delivery vehicle is clean, neat as are the boxes and egg cartons. Everything is done with high quality. The meat is very well labeled and very well packaged. You can tell it is fresh frozen and the color of the meat is very natural. It looks rich and healthy, unlike the pale meat that you will get at the grocery stores. The chickens are not puffed up with a saline solution. The eggs have deep yellow, almost orange yolk. You can tell that everything is fresh and raised properly. I love this farm and the products they produce. I'm almost afraid to share my thoughts for fear that too many people will sign up and they will have to ration the product. :)

The beef, pork, and chicken are some of the best quality meat you can buy! They also have recipe ideas on their website. The pork breakfast sausage is the best. You will never want Jimmie dean again! The pork chops and steaks are so flavorfull and the bacon is a clean slate for any seasoning you like. It's nice to be able to support local farms and regenerative farming.

Placed a large order for steaks, bacon, sausage, pork chops. Order arrived as expected. Beef cuts are smaller than we have ever seen (2 cuts = 1 regular size), the beef is vacuum sealed which kills the texture. The cuts are tougher than leather, flavor is just ok. Bacon is weird. We will be going back to Ingle's (much better quality) or our local butcher.Our butcher's cuts are always better than average size, they wrap their cuts in paper, even after long freezes the butcher's meat cuts like butter and pops with flavor. we wanted to support a local farm and have local meats to prepare, but these folks have a long ways to go before we would purchase again.
