I usually have a pleasant experience at this location but not tonight. I walked up to the checkout line and I greeted the cashier named Emma and she ignored me. No big deal. After she scans my items she tells me to insert my card. I inserted my card and it’s not working. Instead of being polite about the machine not working she gets a nasty attitude. She calls for the manager. The manager comes, she blames the transaction not working because of my card. The manager then suspends the transaction and brings me to another register.. which my card worked the first time ?? if she does not like her job she can get a new one. Her attitude and the way she talked to me is atrocious. She should not be employed in any customer service position.

As basically being an single dad (this is important) after retiring 20 years active duty military with wife at training, I travel long distances with my 1 year old daughter. I like stopping at Walmarts and targets to use family bathrooms (so I can use it and change her diaper), loosen up legs and get her out of the car, buy a few things, get some food. Unfortunately I brought this location up in my Google. The family bathroom did not have changing station and when asked they said it was in the women’s bathroom. My question to Walmart why there isn’t one in the men’s or family bathroom?! It is honestly sexism, period. Does Walmart believe only women raise and take care of their kids?! Do they think all men abandon their kids? I love my daughter more than life. I just want the best for her…

I am a Veteran Amputee. I went inside to get a mobile cart to do some much need shopping and none of them worked. When I showed the Greeter and the Guy that gathers the shopping cart, they acted like I was Stupid!!! I told them what I did in my attempt to get on to start moving. They then repeated to do exactly what I did to the same results. There were 6 mobile carts (3 had bags over the controls and had been there for a week according to the shopping cart guy) (2 wouldn't even show power when unplugged from the wall) (1- the power came on and showed 100% power,but wouldn't move at all) I had to drive to Rock Hill to the Walmart there. I will not ever go to this Walmart again. It's not Handicap Friendly!!

When need help never can find anyone in there department if you do there going to lunch are they don't know what you are looking for but the only good thing I can say is that that the cashiers are Nice and respectful and Jason is always happy and makes a person day when you come in and check out.

Nice atmosphere as well as friendly and helpful employees. When I don't mind buying things made in another country I will shop Walmart again. I prefer shopping the local grocery store in Chester as Walmart is always just too congested and the wait to check out is too much plus you can never find anybody in the store to help you. I haven't noticed any changes other than it is now faster to check yourself out than to go and wait in line for a cashier as they don't have that many anymore.

The Chester Walmart is one of the best Wal-Mart I've been to. It's a smaller store so it's not a chore to find what your looking for. The guy in garden center is one of the nicest people I've met. He went above and beyond to help me out. Other Walmarts should be set to this standard!!!

A friend of mine used to self checkout and got accused of shoplifting she did not shop list I know it for a fact I checked the receipts everything matched I think I will sue Walmart know I will sue

Small for a “Supercenter,” but Supervisor Katharine, allowed me to park overnight on the perimeter near the garden center. Always ask before assuming you can (or can’t) park overnight. Twelve years on the road and I’ve never been turned down where there wasn’t a city ordinance against it.A limited selections of my favorites, but I made do with what they had. Just happy to be off the road in a safe place, away from the hustle and bustle of major metropolitan area.

Walmart has everything you want and need. Your one stop shop. The store managers and its employees make you feel really welcomed. It goes without saying that Walmart Chester is our town's lifeline. It's like a family atmosphere. You're treated like everyone knows you or your name. It's a great store to shop at . I appreciate the lower prices greatly. I think Walmart is like life essential.

I had an amazing experience with a worker today. Dalevon, was this man’s name. We were looking for nursing bottles for our kittens. He not only looked from top to bottom of the shelves and looked in the back but he also checked the boxes that had just came in from the order. This man was amazing. He made my whole night! I’m so thankful for him!

Please if you do go here, let the cashiers check you out. Those self checkers are there to take jobs away from people needing jobs and that is what are closing down stores to shop and making buyers pay for the bags that they are using. We will be in a recession if all good stores close.

Having worked in retail for over 20+yrs.. customer service is the Most important dept.. I just want them to know that Not All of us are thieves! My problem was finally resolved by a Manager I've never seen before, nor have I ever needed one before. But I will be reaching out to corporate to offer a few unsolicited suggestions on sensitivity.

If I was closer to this location, I'd go just to go. They have so much other locations doesn't. They have plenty of clearance throughout the store, more shoes, more styles of men's shirts, different fishing equipment and every employee I came across were so helpful and polite Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because nothing is perfect besides JESUS.

Great Walmart. Mostly friendly staff. Only took off a star because I accidentally put a Diet Coke back in the wrong aisle and the employees took me out back and started beating me ruthlessly with a sledgehammer. Otherwise, five stars.

I bought groceries with the Walmart app and picked them up in the marked parking spots. There seems to be an issue with the internet and Walmart wifi. I always try to tap I've arrived, but end up calling the number on the sign. No big deal. The associates are always kind and friendly.

Not my favorite, by far. Prices are marked up a lot more at this location since it's in Chester. They have a smaller store than your regular super Walmarts so there's a lot of items that they don't carry.

Tried to get two pictures printed for instant pickup. I was told it would be about 10 minutes. I checked three times over an hour period and still no pictures. Three different employees looked at the computer in that time not a single one saw that there was an error and the printer needed to be cleaned. I was then told it would be a couple more hours.
