We cannot say enough good things about Sugar Hills. We got our first fur baby from them four years ago. We get compliments about his behavior and coloring constantly. We loved him so much we decided to get his half brother a year ago. Sugar Hills makes the process of finding the right puppy for your family so easy! Our dogs go back to the farm at least once a year for boarding and it gives us peace of mind knowing how loved they are when they visit. If you are looking for precious golden retriever puppies, Sugar Hills is your place! The Joyner family is amazing!!!!

We had our daughter’s birthday party here and couldn’t have been happier!! Rene and her family are wonderful!! The horseback rides for the kids were awesome! I really like that the kiddos could take as many turns riding the horses as they wanted in the time allotted. The petting zoo was such an interesting experience for the kids, especially since they got to feed the animals! We will definitely be coming back for more parties and trail rides!! The kids didn’t want to leave!! Thank you Sugar Hill Farms for a memorable 8th birthday party!!

We hosted a birthday party this weekend and had an absolute blast! The owners were so kind and easy to work with and so understanding every step of the way! We had 3 horses to ride, a bounce house, and ended the party with a petting zoo/animal feeding experience! All of the kids had an absolute blast and the venue was truly fantastic! We highly highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and new birthday party experience!

We celebrated my daughters 8th birthday party today and it was nothing short of AMAZING!!! I am so thankful and Grateful for Renee and her family for being so patient and helpful with our large crew. We got our sweet golden Evie from Sugar Hills Farm in April ‘23, my dream of being a Goldie mama came true! Rene was a pleasure to deal with, we even boarded Evie there for a vacation later last summer. She had a blast playing with all her family ❤️ We are looking forward to adding a little sister to the crew later this summer!

Went here for my daughter’s 10th birthday and it was absolutely amazing. We had a blast. All kids got to ride the horses and they absolutely loved it. Before our time was up it started to rain pretty bad and they could have easily said we were on our own but went out of their way to make sure we weren’t leaving disappointed and that we got to enjoy our full time there. Super friendly and wonderful animals.

We love Sugar Hills Farm and Kennel!! I reached out to arrange for horseback riding lessons and Rene responded very quickly, we got a lesson scheduled and have been going weekly ever since! Rene is so kind and so patient with my daughter. Everyone that we have met at Sugar Hills Farm has been awesome! The environment is laid back and you really feel at home when you are there! Just in the few weeks that my daughter has been riding with Sugar Hills Farm, her confidence inside and outside of the arena has grown tremendously! We chose Sugar Hill Farms for riding lessons. Little did we know that we would get so much more. My niece and I have been welcomed by the owners, other riders, and boarders with open arms. And in today’s world, it ‘s rare to find a business that gives way more than you pay for.The lessons at Sugar Hill Farms are very structured. But even in a group lesson setting, it feels like individualized instruction. Most of all lessons are fun, full of energy, and the kids come away with a sense of accomplishment and encouragement. I can’t imagine my teen being anywhere else!

We opted out of the traditional birthday party for my little girl this year and headed to Sugar Hills Farm for a more unique, one on one horse/farm experience for the birthday girl! She got to meet and feed all the farm friends and do all things "horse-related" (which was her #1 birthday request)! 10/10 recommend!

i have a 2 year old who absolutely LOVES horses. she always watches them on tv especially the cartoon “spirit” ! She got to brush the horses, and she was skeptical about riding at first but rene and her daughter were so amazing with coaching her into not being afraid. Rene’s daughter got on with her & needless to say there was a LOT of crying when we left. She definitely didn’t want to leave. My oldest daughter had a blast also. Shes 13 and more familiar with horses. I am so thankful i found this place and Nova was able to meet a “real horsey” as she says and even rode one! i’ll be honest i did NOT think she’d get on. but Rene and her daughter were so patient with her and got her used to the horse and finally got her on it & she loved it ! i’ll post a couple pics below because they speak louder than words! if you’re looking for a place to see beautiful horses (and just a beautiful scenery altogether) this is definitely the place to go! 5 stars isn’t enough !!

My sweet husband surprised me with a horseback ride. It was a wonderful experience despite the cold. The horses were well mannered and Renee was the best tour guide. Will definitely be back when the weather is warm!

Sugar hill farmers is so beautiful and the people are so friendly and welcoming and very good with their animals and they are taking good care of them too and great at showing you what and how to ride horses . I really highly recommend going there it’s so much fun and the trail rides was amazing thank you suger hill farms for such a great time!!!!

We bought a puppy from Sugar Hills almost 3 years ago. He has been the perfect addition to our family. The folks at Sugar Hills were so easy to work with and we fell in love with their entire family. In fact….. we now board our “puppy” with them when we travel. We really don’t trust anyone else to keep him!A bonus….. we had our daughters birthday party there during Covid and it too was just perfect! A great outdoor celebration when the world was shut down!

We recently picked up our golden retriever puppy from Sugar Hill Farms and she is beautiful and perfect for our family! We loved going out to the farm and seeing the beautiful place where she was born. We were able to meet her mother, father, grandfather, and all of her litter mates. They were wonderful to work with and we look forward to going back to board her there and to go horseback riding with the kids. Thanks Sugar Hill Farms!

My golden retriever doggo is 2 yrs old now & he's a Sugar Hills Farm puppy! He's of the absolute best temperament: super sweet, so silly, very smart, great with kids, and such a beautiful handsome looking guy. He's also had zero health issues.You can tell their Goldens are bred with so much thought, love, & care & am proud to have gotten my boy from there. Rene is just great to deal with too, made sure that I had all the proper info & support when taking my pup home & also throughout the pup's life - I still contact her if I have questions. I recommend everyone I know looking for a gorgeous golden retriever to Sugar Hills Farm!

I went with my bf, my sister, and her bf. We had the best time!!! They were super nice and very hospitable. The horses were well trained and very fun to ride. Rena(the owner) took us on a trail, through a creek, and even got our horses to trot and run along with her. She kept in touch with me about my reservation, she was very reasonable, flexible, and even took some photos of us on our horses. 10/10 experience, highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back!!

I would highly recommend SHF to anyone, we got both of our golden retrievers here and they are literally the best! During the process of waiting to get our goldens, Rene was always super responsive to our messages and always knew the answer to every question you asked. We love our goldens and we always bring them here when we go out of town because we know they will be taken care of. We know where we will get our third golden baby from too! :)

Needed to board one of my dogs and chose Sugar Hill Farms which turned out to be a great decision!!Rena and her husband were very friendly and had great communication with me throughout.The telling tale was the pick up.While very apparent Foxy was glad to see me, there was no mad dash to the car like get me out of here Dad!Whenever the next occasion arises that I have to put up any of my pups for board, there is no doubt as to who I will be entrusting them to.Sugar Hill Farms!!!
