This store is trash. Always no one at the registers and then when someone decides to ring u up, half the products don’t scan right and can NEVER load cash app or take coupons. The owners need to close this location completely down. Waste of time EVERY TIME u go in this store

Jennifer is one of the best managers every time I go in she is working her way around the whole store doing everything you can tell she wants to work an puts 100% effort into everything she is always polite an kind with customers anytime I can’t find something or need help i notice she is always the one helping me.

I really think our Dollar General must be going out of business. The shelves are empty I don't understand. The shelves have been empty for awhile but today was really bad. It was hard for the cashier to check me out and bag what I did find that I needed. She had her little girl behind the counter trying to hold her so she wouldn't get out into the store. I did see her running through the store one time. I don't plan to go back in this Dollar General I will drive to another one. If I could I wouldn't give any stars! I think the little girl was named Jessie.

The first time I visited this store, I was impressed! Clean! No stock blocking aisles!!!! Yaaaay!!!All employees spoke with eye contact!!! There was a guy doing some stocking but he was out of the way if customers! Not like most with all aisles blocked even with empty racks! I was in retail for 25 years and to be in the way of a customer or unfriendly was a HUGE no no for me! Reprimand. Verbal. Write up. Discharge! I know how to appreciate respect, friendliness, and being helpful. I give compliments where compliments are due. I will go out of my way to visit this Dollar General.A word of thanks to this management team and staff for being on a 10 with me! Kudos to the guys! They are great employees!!! Ladies as well!

I was so excited when the Dollar General in Chesnee SC closed the small store and opened a much bigger one. I had hoped the new one would be better at not blocking aisles with carts and boxes of merchandise that needed to be put on the shelves. I went in today and much to my disappointment every aisle I needed to go on was blocked some of them completely. This is ridiculous! I wonder if anyone else feels this way?

Went in there today to get a few things and I was glad to get out of there. That is the most unorganized DG I have EVER been to. & I've been to LOADS in different states. Whoever manages that store, does not manage that store. Hopefully someone can get it reorganized because a lot of DGs are loved by loads of people but I am willing to bet I am not the only one that feels this way.....

Update, this makes 2 months straight that I had to load my PayPal somewhere else, this is getting to be nonsense here, all of this started back in October of this year, there are 2 elderly workers there that don't know what they are doing half the time, they claim the card scanner can't load money onto cards.

Prices are about the only good thing about dollar general! Tired of all the carts always in the way on every other aisle! Sheesh! I mean cant they just bring 1cart out at a time? Stock whats on that cart then get another. Instead of bringing all 50 out at once and they being all IN THE WAY! Also sweep and mop the floors and clean better and more often. Dirty stores, poor service, unorganized!

Store is older and not as new and streamlined, but management was very helpful and friendly. Looks like they were setting lots of new plan-o-grams and pushing out stock. Would return just for the pleasant management.

One in middle of chesnee is always a huge mess. It hard to find anything in their. I prefer to go to the mayo store or the new one on Hwy 11. They always clean.Staff was very nice in chesnee. 1 of the worker from Fred is there now. Best customer service from her always. No matter where she at. Give her the chance and she will have that store back in tip, top, shape.

A mess as usual, not a quick place to shop. Bathrooms are a mess, but there's only 2 employees at any given time so that is not sufficient for thorough duties to get done, especially on product delivery day (Company Truck, and vendors)

Its a Dollar General in Chesnee but the selection is actually quite good. Friendly staff that were knowledgeable about the products they had on hand. The isles were packed pretty tight but that added to the variety and choices.

Store was a dirty older store. Friendly cashier. And I felt a little tight in there I'm guessing because a lot of stuff was in a smaller store. They definitely need to ship items accordingly.

Great store for a quick visit, and they have good prices. Check your receipt. Twice I was double charged for an item. They corrected it, but had I not noticed then nothing would have been said. New store, so they are learning.

Employees unpleasant and the store was in complete disarray. It was cluttered. There was nothing on the shelves because it was all in boxes, on carts. I'll go to a different Dollar General. That store is ridiculous and it's always filthy.

Dirty store overpacked with stock everywhere. Older staff rude and unhelpful. Don't waste your time. I would recommend one of the other Dollar Generals right down the road on either side of it.

Ive nothing but good experience @ this store. Thier helpness and kindness makes aday.but you must give it bac to them. We shop and they work in a crowded discount store. Dont be in a rush! Ask questions without be snappy.This not The Carl Ritz!.

Understaffed while I understand labor v income measures. The task to resource ratio is far off, leading to aisle clutter, low employee morale, quite possibly a high turnover rate. Meaning under trained and highly strained resources. Given the franchise the staff is possibly underpaid and disgruntled. The hiring apparatus seems more concerned with bodies on the clock than competency held therein. System could stand for an overhaul from shipping and recieving practices and HR practices. Upper management's time at the Gemba should increase. Real time customer surveys freon the Gemba provides more accurate depictions of customer experience than online surveys. Obviously weight the averages to compensate for the bias toward negatives responses. Due to the fact that people complain more than praise by a factor of roughly 4:1 if not more given the affluence of the populous.

This store always have empty shelves. It seems like they need toorder extra inventory.
