The side we was put on was PACKED. Compared to the number of rooms, seems like they'd spread everybody out, especially since hardly no one was on the other side. Everything seemed fine at FIRST.... then my daughter noticed after she used the sink, the water just sat there clogged up and then gnats coming out of nowhere. Ceiling leaking over toilet from people using shower upstairs. Notified front, No refund and they don't want to switch rooms either so your stuck with what they give you. We had paid for a few days so we were just stuck and had to make good with what we had. We never seen any roaches, bedbugs or anything like that but it Would be nice if you got at least a discount if you were there for a good few days, like if you stay 4 nights, get one free or something atleast OR a price knockoff for problems in the room if they cant switch it! But nothing. We spent atleast a good $600+ on the rooms we had those 2 weeks, & NOT full weeks. We were never offered clean towels, toilet paper, trash collect, nothing. Had to end up taking trash to the dumpster ourselves, going to the front to get towels, etc and taking the used ones up front...which should be apart of housekeeping job. Even if the tenants turn down the service for them to clean the room, they still should knock on the door to give towels, toilet paper and collect trash. Rooms are outdated. Atleast some pretty paint and air fresheners in the rooms would improve it somewhat! Also as much money as you spend, checkout is at 11 BUT they start banging on your door a few minutes after 10 telling you to get ready to leave or asking if your staying again. It Ridiculous.

I stayed here while traveling for work last week and the room was clean and quiet, even though a whole company of construction workers were staying there also. They are obviously trying to upgrade. The outside looks very rough but the rooms were fine. Everything worked well with the exception of the hot water...took about 4 minutes for it to heat up for a shower. The manager was very nice and accommodating. Wifi worked well. No complaints really once you get past the exterior. Newer looking rooms with clean beds.

I was satisfied with my stay at this hotel.The building was conveniently located, and handsomely decorated. Likewise, my room was clean and functional. The staff I interacted with were friendly and attentive. I had no problems with my night there (though I did notice a roach-looking bug in the room), and would probably stay there again.My thanks goes out to all associated with this hotel. I am grateful for your service.

If there were a lesser rate to apply I would. We were not informed they put our two adjoining rooms in a smoking room. Both rooms had ashes on the side table of bed. The bathrooms both had mold on the ceiling with cigarette stains on tub ledge. The pillow cases had hair and stains on them. (Yes all!).The lamps were unplugged and one was missing a bulb. The coverlet on beds were stained white in blotches.I could keep going.... I feel they should have paid us to stay there during Co-Vid 19.Just plain nasty!

The room smelled old the bedspread had a black stain on it.The towel they had hanging was dirty the tub had cigarette Burns on it and was not clean.Back of the tv was dusty and the headbroad in the children's room was on crooked,And the air conditioner was loud,And the shower ran too hard and it ended up filling the tub up with water so i was standing in a tub full of water! Do not stay at this Inn.The lady at the desk was nice and tried to assist us as best she could.

Slum neighborhood; Check-in customer service not at a desk or counter in a lobby behind a window; entire exterior property appears rundown...... Customer service initially was cooperative and rate, tolerable but, I canceled instead of staying.Walkability: A mere few blocks from center of town but, not confident walking at night is safe around this inn......Not confident my vehicle was safe either.

I really like the owner although some individuals think they’re unfriendly but they have never been that way to me. I also love the remodeling they’re doing to the hotel!

I have stayed here once a year since 2011 for an event in town. The management is always nice and very helpful. In recent years the rooms must have been remodeled, it's a lot nicer than it used to be. It's not a fancy place, but if you need a reasonable price and a clean room with friendly staff it's a good option.

I have mixed reviews about this hotel during my stay. i will start with the pros.Pros- location was convenient with stores nearby and was not a far drive at all. peaceful location with not too much issues. owners were pretty decent and nice as well as the workers.Cons- hotel was still going through renovations so the rooms were not very decent or cleaned. linen was not cleaned nor were the bathrooms and vents of the ac unit. there were insects crawling all over the rooms and plumbing was not that great.the continental breakfast they had was not appetizing to eat.workers who were busting their backs to stay and work extra to wash mine and my fellow coworkers clothes who were helping out with storm relief had quit because they were not getting paid the full time they were working.All in all if the hotel was worked on a little bit better and the renovations were complete and fresh new linen was put in the rooms it would be better.But cant complain much because at least we had a place to stay while those who were affected by the hurricane had no place to stay.

Fairly easy to find the rooms are pretty decent aside from holes in the wall the owners are not very helpful in directing you to find food in the area but it's a easy enough area to navigate. Most of the rooms seem to be smoking rooms so be prepared for them to have a slight smell otherwise an okay experience

Outside it doesn't look like much, but the rooms were actually nice and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was close to downtown. Price was very affordable. Overall a quality stay, would recommend.

I don't know where the denigraters were staying, but we took a chance and are glad. Our room was very clean, no bugs, no dust bunnies, no mold. Everything worked, tv, tub and shower, lamps and lights. The fridge was cold, the freezer froze. Can't say about the microwave as we didn't need it. I particularly liked the bed treatment. Instead of a big heavy bedspread, they used an extra sheet with a runner, like you use on a table, to relieve all the white. The flooring appeared new, both tile and carpet. The cleaner even left us a pretty folded combination of washcloth and bath mat on the tub. Breakfast was cereal, juice, tea or coffee and sausage biscuits.Now for the problems ... the ac was LOUD! Of course that meant it drowned out the street noise and train noise. And even though there was a blackout curtain, it couldn't reach over the edge of the window because the window runs right up to the door. So our room had light all night. All in all, an okay place to stay but not a 5 star property.

Dead bugs and glassshards in the bed, mold in the fridge air filters are packed with chunks of dust. Spoke with owner about problems and during the conversation he yelled at me, lied about having a clean room available then insulted my integrity before uttering something in his native language while storming off into his office. Professionalism and customer service was disheartening to say the least.

We have stayed at Inn Cheraw for about 3 yrs. on our twice yearly north - south travels to a 2nd home. We always get a ground floor king room. While not fancy the rooms have been very clean, everything works, some furnishings seem new. Beds are very comfortable. A couple good restaurants nearby. Room rate is very reasonable. The Patels are nice people and strive to please.

Gets a one star because I can't give it 1/3 of a star. My stay here was absolutely horrible. The bed sheets were stained and had strands of brunette hair on them. And the bed was infested with bed bugs! I suffered bites on my wrists, scalp, back, and neck!This place is deplorable.Final note, the TV only had analog channels.

I chose 1 star because -10 is not an option. First let me say that at least it was shelter from the storm but to be honest, if I would of had the money I would have bought a tent from Walmart and took my chances in an open field.Pros were.........give me a second while I think...(ten minutes later) sorry I can't think of any.Cons were the roooms were dirty! Linens never changed, the rooms smelled of cigarettes, piss and hooker sweat! The plumbing was horrible. 3 minutes into your shower you were standing in a pool of god knows what! Roaches, bed bugs, you name it they had it! It was like an episode of animal planet at this dump! The staff was polite but after one complaint to them they made themselves scarce and nothing was done. The oh so wonderful (incert sarcastic tone) continental breakfast consisted of over microwaved mini bagels, stale cereal and I wanna say coffee but I can't be sure of what it was. All I'm really trying to say is if you have to stay here then bring some Raid, plenty of bleach and lots of antibiotics!

Don't pay in advance they'll give your room away if your roommate cancels. They'll keep your deposit too...keep the better business bureau on speed dial if you plan on staying in this shady place.

The owners are amazing people with a great staff that made you feel like you were home. Very helpful especially Valerie. We stayed 2 weeks no complaints.

Cheapest, for a cleaner room, around this area. However, the phone didn't work, the smoke detector beeped every 2min, cigarette burns on the bath tub, and the pillows we're flat. We asked for a no smoking room, but it smelled like a bar. Other than that, it was okay. Oh, and it's $65 if you pay with cash, $72 if you pay with a card....weird, it's normally opposite.

Management sucks i worked overnight called to reserve room for the day was told ok come as soon as you get off we will hold a room so i get there and check in and pay head to room and just getting ready tofall asleep and she knocked on door saying by the way in 2 hours you have to pay for another day she didnt mention this till after we payed so one day cost me 2 days rooms sucked too dirty but i fixed the plumbing for them lol
