Nice store with wide variety. My dog enjoyed the treats, though the birthday cake was quite hard. The owner was nice and personable, I enjoyed hearing about his very speedy dog and seeing the wonderful pictures of her in action around the shop. The birthday hat I got here must be very comfortable, my dog barely noticed it and kept it on for a while.

What a delightful Pet Boutique this is! These guys have a wonderful selection of treats, food, and toys for cats and dogs. As you can see from the pictures and videos this store is incredible and has a smorgasbord of options for your pet! I highly recommend visiting and taking a look around as you will not see very many pet stores that look this amazing. Good luck trying to make it out of the store without a bag of delightful treats for your furry loved one!

I have taken my dog to Woof Gang for over two years now. I no longer will be taking him here after a poor grooming incident. Supposedly, the groomer is new. I wouldn't recommend Woof Gang if your dog requires attention to detail. Instead of clipping/trimming my dog like I asked, the groomer used an electric shaver...on my golden retriever. Needless to say if you have a golden don't trust this groomer.

The store is cute. But DO NOT bring your dog here to get groomed. The groomer hacked into my poor babies fur and shaved all the hair in between his eyes. There are chunks of uneven hair everywhere around his nose and eyes. BEWARE!!!!

Amazingly friendly and accommodating staff! Our dog literally pulled us off the street to go in here and had the biggest smile on her face during our visit. All of the treats are made with great ingredients and are so unique and cute! Thanks for making our day!

Pics below are pics from after my Goldendoodles groom. I am EXTREMELY disgusted with our most recent grooming visit to your King St, Charleston, SC location. My dog came home with actual wounds to both ends of his ears. Unfortunately, this is not something we noticed until we got home and he laid on our white comforter and we saw a blood stain after he got up. Aside from the fact that our dog was left unrecognizable from being completely shaved. The groomer could care less about what he had done to our dog, he told us that Porter had a “small nick on his leg.. that will definitely heal up..” the groomer FAILED to mention the other wounds (on BOTH ears.) These are wounds, not nicks. That were actively bleeding. I had to go to my vet to get an antibiotic to treat these WOUNDS and to avoid infection. This is unfair treatment to my dog, who is my child, that I trusted in the hands of the male groomer at WoofGang Bakery, Charleston. This is a sad way to end our relationship as we loved going to Woofgang to get treats and socialize our new puppy as well. But at this point we will not return for grooming or treats, and will certainly not recommend.

I would have given a far better rating if this were just for the groomer - she was fantastic!! Very helpful and kind. One of the gentlemen who works behind the counter is also very resourceful and nice and knows the product lines inside and out. They also have really great products and treats inside.But we have now had FOUR grooming appointments booked by Woof Gang that we have shown up for, only to find out they do not have the appointment in their books. It's a pain in the butt to try to park there on King and to load our puppy into the car, unload him and go inside, only to find out there is no appointment. Then, when this happens, they are so booked up that you can't get an appointment again until about 2 weeks from when your appointment was supposed to be. I make my next appointment when I leave the current appointment and I put it directly into my calendar before I leave the store, so I know it's them and not me. We will definitely be taking our business elsewhere - a grooming service can't have these sort of scheduling challenges, especially when there is software out there that makes scheduling super easy for all parties - this is the 21st century, after all. My friend tells me this has happened to her at Woof Gang as well. Charleston Pet Resort in West Ashley was just highly recommended to me by our vet and we will be going there moving forward.

Stopped in with my dog on our walk downtown. The man working the shop was super friendly and offered complimentary treats for my pup. I purchased a few of the cutest dog treats as well. I also loved how there was a board behind the counter with a list of dog friendly restaurants in Charleston. This was a life saver and came in handy during my trip with my dog.

Wonderful groomer, very shady pricing. I took my dog and recently for a full groom because I had been to a different Wolfgang and a different state and I’ve been very happy. The groomer did a wonderful job and was very attentive to my request, but when it came time to pay, there were several added on fees well above the original quote. What was supposed to be a $70 total ended up being $95 before the tip. The groomer said it was because my dog was matted, but I assured that she did not have any big mats in her hair before I brought her in. There might have been a couple minor ones on her legs but nothing that should cause an extra $10-$20 in addition to the Groom. Part of grooming is dealing with minor mats. When I asked them about it, they said it was their policy. Had I been made aware of this before, I would’ve understood, but there was no sign anywhere in the store nor was I made aware of this of up charge. While I really liked the groom, I have a hard time supporting a business in the future that is not transparent about their pricing.

Took 3 hours but my dog came out with a great haircut. He’s very timid and shy so I was surprised to see how upbeat and confident he was when he re-emerged. I could tell he felt comfortable with the groomer and staff and that means so much. Will come again!

Great store for the woofers and the purr-ers alike! There is a huge selection of dog-friendly cookies in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and colors and for a wide variety of occasions and themes (birthdays, gotcha days, seasonal/holidays, just because). They varied in cost as well, I think mostly due to the size. There were also "regular" treats available with the ability to mix and match types and flavors.The store also sells a variety of accessories, including matching leashes and collars, bandanas, toys, and regular treats/food. I did see some dental treats and other minor first aid type stuff.Friendly staff, huge selection, and a fun atmosphere!

Nice little dog shop. It doesn't have the selection of a big box pet store, but that's expected. It makes up for it in charm. Even so, they had a specific style of collar I was looking for that I can't find anywhere else. The person working there was very nice and helpful. There was a big board behind the cash register with a list of dog-friendly restaurants in the area - very helpful!

Excellent service, and adorable store! We just got a new puppy, and were in need of a smaller collar, as the one we purchased was too big. I did a quick Yelp search, and was extremely excited to find Woof Gang Bakery! We went in, and were immediately greeted and given excellent help and advice by the lovely ladies at the store (seemed like they were the owners). They were extremely knowledgeable, and had a great selection of toys, treats, collars, and more. A true gem of a business! Thank you for all your help with our new little Jack Russel Terrier!

This is the best merchandised dog store I have ever been in in my 50+ years of living. From the name of the store, to the unique items that are sourced perfectly for dogs that are allergic to heavy duty additives. This is an amazing dog bakery! They have all kinds of treats and other pet supplies. The staff was really knowledgeable about their products and super friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be buying more treats here next time I'm downtown.

Very distraught over my grooming experience at Woofgang Charleston Downtown yesterday, August 24th. Pam (the groomer) did not follow my instructions and violated my trust. I asked her not to use any sort of electric clipper on my 5-lb long-haired Chihuahua, scissors only!!! And it was only after I paid that I realized my dog's beautiful coat was shaved. To make matters worse, when Pam was done grooming Coco and brought her out into the main shop she let Coco down onto the floor without a leash with her large dog 60+ pounds (I think it was a Pitbull?) who was also off the leash. Terrifying!!! I made it very clear that Coco is very scared of big dogs and her dog practically pounced on top of Coco, which caused Coco to run straight towards the door. Luckily the door was not open. I'm upset more so at myself that I put my dog's safety at risk bringing her to this store. I called the owner, Marcus, after to explain my concerns and there was little accountability or remorse for what happened. I really wanted to continue frequenting this location, but I can't stop thinking about the dangers that Pam subjected my sweet dog to yesterday. She should have never allowed her dog off the leash with my tiny dog in the same room. Accidents happen. Even if your dog is the friendliest Pitbull out there, all it takes is one misstep and my dog is dead.

I never write bad reviews but this warrants one. I asked them to take a little length off of my golden doodle after saying they cut her too short last time. When I picked her up I didn't even recognize her they completely shaved her from head to tail without calling me to discuss it before doing it. I have never been so upset; she has cut marks all over her and she was visibly upset when I picked her up. I will NEVER be going back there.

My friend and I arrived a little bit later when they were closing (due to COVID changes) and thankfully they were kind enough to let us in and browse! Got my pup some treats which he absolutely adored and also loved on the store pup while there. Definitely a must stop place in Charleston to get something for your pooch.

It's a pretty cool store, I wish he would've had no slip collars but definitely made up for by the wide variety of doggy treats and other healthy snakes and foods for your furry friend. I would definitely recommend this store to friends.

Excellent pet store in a great shopping area. We brought our dog in the shop when walking by and got him fresh treats that he loved. There are lots of good dog toys, collars, and leashes also. The owner was very friendly and gave us a lot of good recommendations for pet-friendly dining and local dog parks.

I thought about giving this place one-star because my dog is now so spoiled that I can't buy treats anywhere else! They literally make human-grade treats here, it's amazing. It may not be my proudest moment, but one time when I was hungry I tried one of their bacon/cheese balls. I wouldn't eat them on a regular basis, but it was pretty darn good. Your dog will love them.
