Kasha and Delaine in Customer Center were very competent and helpful - I was able to add cash to Venmo card. This store is updated, clean, more like a great Target.

This Walmart is one of the closest to the Folly Beach area. It it seems to be nicely stocked for beach type activities, but you will not find a lot of the basic things you may need for fishing.We were looking for tackle, bait and other items for our fishing rods that were in other Walmarts in the area. Not here.Was there for a quick stop. At 8 AM it was extremely empty, but they had already ran out of ice.The location had wide aisles and sufficiently stocked shelves

Came here around 7:30pm to grab my toddler a bathing suit. Saw 2 associate just standing at the fitting area talking. Waited on them politely and the male alerted the female. So I ask for her if I can get a fitting room for my toddler. She said no they are closed. Like really they weren’t even doing anything besides chit chatting. Walk around and noticed one of the fitting room door was open and just took my toddler in. Seems like no one wants to do anything around here besides touching their phone or talking.

I work for Walmart. I have helped at many Walmart in trouble over my years working for them. This is the WORSE Walmart I have been to to shop. I have them many chances to impress me. Never happened. This store early evening looked like a one person staffed Dollar General. Freight everywhere. Still on pallets. In way. Nothing on most shelves. I understand this is a high traffic Walmart. They need help. Something is definitely wrong here. Even tried to order online and they screwed that up. And then says I picked it up anyway. All around bad experience. Cashier was sweet but associates on floor that I did see were no help and the odp associate that was dispensing was no help at all.

The younger dark skinned girl acted like she looked up our bucket of beach toys at 501pm may 19th and eas clicking produce I told her it was 7 isles up near registers she didn't say anything ignored me went and acted like she looked it up being lazy and made my boyfriend go get one with tag left screen up for employees which isn't responsible I've worked retail never helped us nothing she didn't say anything and rolled her eyes at me when I told her where the beach toys was to get us one with a tag. Lazy and really rude to be honest. But the older guy eith sunglasses who is at the door when he left NICEST guy ever very happy and shows he's in a good mood to work. I've never had someone not help or want to work.

I'm done with this place. There has been a long steady decline of this Walmart over the last year or so. Recently the shelves are pretty empty. I have a hard time finding basic things like milk, fresh veggies, frozen items or prepackaged deli meats. There are boxes of stuff in the isles waiting to be shelved. They have workers but they are all doing individual shopping for people to pick-up which clogs the isles with all the boxes of stuff waiting to be put away. They never have more than a lane, possibly 2 at the check-out open. The people that are checking things out are so in the weeds that they have no energy or sense of urgency to get the line moving quickly.They are completely miserable and I don't blame them. I feel sorry for them. The self check-out doesn't take cash. The floors are disgusting. I could go on and on but you get the idea.I've been coming here since they opened. The decline in everything is stunning and sad. The place just sucks. Cheap prices or not there is only so much a person can put up with. I'll spend more $$ at the Publix/Food Lion that are right around the corner. Avoid this store at all costs.

I'm the type of guy who likes to find good sales and epic savings. If you do too, DONT get them here. Twice I ordered online of an amazing deal and twice it was screwed up! Funny how they take my money so quick but as soon as it's time to fork over the product, there is trouble. They would rather waste over an hour of my time to try and "solve it" to only say: "Well the best I can do is refund ya". I had the receipt and proof of purchase, so instead of honoring it they honored lining the pockets of higher ups. Pathetic!

Great location. Amazing prices also. Offering everything from Garden Center to auto motive to sporting goods to groceries clothing and everything else. Great quick self check out too.

Sam Walton would be rolling like a chicken in a rotisserie if he were to walk into this store.Never have we ever had a more bizarre retail experience. Set aside the fact that the shelves were bare and pallets of stock seemed to be almost purposefully parked to block aisles.The whole experience was like an episode of The Twilight Zone. Here’s the conversation with the most pleasant of employees:I smile -“How are you this evening?”He replies, “Yeah. Try lonely. Try mad at some people. And if they don’t let me take my break it’s going to be worse”There was an expired bag of carrots that were the consistency of baby food - actual mush.My boyfriend and I kept looking at each other and asking if we were both experiencing the same thing - the string of oddities just kept occurring, including as we were in our car exiting the parking lot.I could continue the list, but if you’ve read this far, you get the gist. I get it that staffing is challenging, but this place is Bizarro World.

Thank you to the lovely checkout lady who ran after us this evening as we had left our chicken on the checkout. She was the only checkout operator on an over 20 items checkout. Working as fast as she could with a smile and a kind word. WALMART. you need to support your staff. This lady needs to feel appreciated. We appreciate you. Ricki in electronics was a very rude person. He acted like it really bothered him that I didn't know the type of charger cable I needed for my phone. I had the phone with me I didn't see the problem. But thanks Ricki I now know I have a mini-c.

My two warnings for going to this walmart location.Pick up orders: Don't use it!! you will either sit waiting for about 45 mins in your car, or you end up having to get out of your car anyways and walk around the store looking for an employee to help. the problem? you will never be able to find an employee, if you do they are not on the clock. And there's a chance they either didn't fulfill it or it's out of stock but they didn't notify you.Check out: Hoping to run in and run out quickly? You wont.there's only one option 90% of the time and it's self check out. Which I understand now a days is the more popular option. But the issue is when the self check is 20 people deep and there's not a single lane open to help. Because all I've come in for is a box of tampons and some ice cream, but now I have to wait 30 mins to check out.

Not sure why I haven't learned my lesson after all the bad experiences here. Management is clearly absent minded. Every department is ran poorly. Grocery pickup is pointless as you will check in and then sit for an hour and wait. Don't even try calling, it will be in vain as no departments will pick up the phone.

A little expensive, But a wonderful experience. right on Chippewa Square and easy to walk or drive around. Make sure you learn the history and where the body was buried.

It's Walmart. What do you want me to say? I got lost and became suspicious that the layout is meticulously arranged for this scenario. But what they didn't expect was me, Ryan Bergeson, who doesn't just give up when surrounded by retail and buy a bunch of pajama pants and a nerf gun. No, I straight rage sprinted in a single direction with the knowledge that I would find a wall eventually that was solid and didn't clang or topple over. I did. And I traced that wall to the exit. And I left.I mean, it's Walmart, do you think you're going to make some sort of life decision from a review here?

I ordered 2 Fresh & Meaty chicken which were delivered to Apt 102. However NOt in building 409. There are apartments 102 in each of 40+ buildings. Your method for complaining about a problem is ridiculous!

It’s messy, hard to find your way around. Tide pods were not anywhere close to the laundry section. They only had two checkout lanes open and I waited in line for over 20 minutes. UPDATE: They forgot my sour cream and my bananas in the bags, so I have to go all the way back. ZERO STARS. NEVER GOING AGAIN

I only give one stars if it’s bad. All the produce was looking terribly rotten. Most of the meat was expired. I saw candy apples dated October 28 and today is November 10th … yet employees were outside, smoking cigarettes and screwing Most eggs were crushed and the ground chicken had 8 packs expired on November 5th. The oranges in the produce section were shriveled. The corn on the cob was dry and needed to be thrown in the garbage. It’s just not a case of one item. It’s a case of nobody caring about what’s on the shelves. You can call me a Karen, but I am not getting sick. What you put inside your body is important and I will not put rotten fruit, vegetables or meat in my body.

Almost 2024 and no Apple Pay. Several broken self check out registers. Workers standing around on their phones doing nothing for hours rather than opening check out lanes even with long lines on self checkout. Rude workers.

Huge thank you to Mister Darren, who helped us and went above and beyond to provide excellent friendly service near the end of a long day! He helped enhance our time visiting Charleston by tracking down some difficult-to-find beach supplies. We appreciate all of the other staff at the store that also made our visit a pleasant experience.
