Mrs Victoria did a great job helping me out when I visit this location on Saturday. Mrs Victoria was very helpful and nice to me. She made sure I left the store satisfied with everything I needed. This is what I call excellent customer service and yes I will return back again because of the great service Mrs Victoria provided me with. Keep up the great work your the best 😊

I usually visit Home Depot at Northwoods, but I have been to the Summerville one as well. I find that the stock and the prices are pretty much in line with Lowes. Occasionally, one store will be out of something I need, so I go to the other store. Like Lowes, Home Depot has beautiful plants and flowers. However, I've not seen a plant clearance rack at Home Depot. The employees are helpful and kind at both Home Depot locations.

Scheduled a delivery for Wednesday, they rescheduled for Thursday. They cancelled the delivery due to weather and never informed me. I called Friday morning and rescheduled for Saturday. At 7:30 am, the tracker said two stops away estimated 9:30. 10 am, tracker now says I’m four stops away estimated delivery for 12. My $4000 order is not being taken seriously. Horrible delivery experience.

I have to say I was pretty surprised at the stuff still stocked on shelves that the "blue" stores consider seasonal. Definitely has a wider selection of choices on various items such as tools, shelving, and storage bins to name a few. Very nice Ryobi section with battery and gas powered items and the accessories. Thank goodness Home Depot realizes that people do use spray paint year round. Full spectrum of colors offered. Precut lumber sizes and wood types have broader size ranges for those with limited tools and/or workspace. Measure twice cut once 😁

Staff was helpful and friendly, a few of the items I went there for they were not in stock, I had to order online and they showed up damaged, went to the store the manager helped me out. The parking lot is large enough.Paint area was amazing and very helpful she was able to match the color I needed and get some tester paint. I forget the woman's name in the Paint area but she was awesome and very helpful so early in the morning. The Paint area is a 5 out of 5.Call a head to make sure they have your air filters they could be out even if they website said they had them.Great experience in store though.

Customer Service is unprofessional. You can usually find them gossiping amongst themselves, rolling their eyes, and cursing under their breath. If you ask for assistance from one employee, the others stand there staring at you. After you walk away they say "Anyways" or "like I was saying" as if their conversation is more important than doing their job. One or two ladies have been friendly, but the rest make it uncomfortable. When asking where something is we often get the response "I don't work in that department". These kinds of statements don't say sure let me find someone who can help. They don't make you feel valued

I ordered a Dewalt 3 combo kit online and pick it up in this store and the box had a hole on it I opened up the box the a tool and the bag had the hole too I returned it and they said they will send me an email when the new order will be ready they send me an email my wife went and picked that up and it was the same box with same hole awful experience with this store

I had a really great experience in the appliances section with a supervisor James Greene this evening. I had a previous appliance order that didn’t work out and had been told by online customer service, prior to coming into the store, that I would be allowed to apply a discount to a new order that had been applied to the previous order. It was late in his shift and not a straightforward situation, yet he still went above and beyond to get everything sorted out to order my new fridge and still get the discount I had been promised. He spent almost an hour with me making sure that everything was worked out before I left the store. I’m really grateful that there are still customer service employees out there who genuinely want to help people and make sure they have an exceptional experience and James was one of those people. Thanks for all of your help!

Was appalled at the lack of customer support in the garden area this past weekend. On Sunday I went and purchased 33 bags of mulch, and understandably asked for help loading the bags into my car. Imagine my shock when the young man who rang me up basically told me no- they were short staffed and he wasn’t going to call anyone yo help me because there was no one to help me. Upon further observation there were multiple workers in the garden area as well as at least 2 workers collecting buggies in the parking lot. We will absolutely stick with Lowe’s strictly for the sake of decent customer service.

I was in the market for a Dewalt 20v mower. I saw the one I wanted on the Home Depot app, and that there was one in stock in West Ashley. I placed an online order for in store pickup same day, and added the protection plan. I was told I’d receive an email when my order was ready.Two hours later, I received an email saying my mower order was cancelled and no explanation was given. I assumed it was because it was out of stock, but who knows? The employees at West Ashley didn’t bother to let me know. I also got an email to let me know my extended warranty, on the item which I am NOT purchasing anymore, is in the mail. Turns out they only refunded the cost of the mower when they cancelled the order.I immediately called Home Depot customer service and was sent to a texting service, where I can text back and forth with questions about my order. The person I texted said it was out of stock at the West Ashley store, and cancelled the rest of the order as well. They then proceeded to tell me that it was in stock at another store about 45 minutes away in North Charleston. I confirmed by going to the website to make sure. The website says that the North Charleston store has 4 in stock…FOUR! He proceeded to create another order for pickup from the new store, and said it would be ready in 2 hours. I told him that wasn’t acceptable. I shouldn’t have to wait 2 hours because Home Depot employees don’t know how to do inventory correctly. He said he would contact the store and put a rush on it. I thanked him and told him I was on my way to the store.When I arrived 45 minutes later, I was told by that store that they don’t even carry that item anymore. They don’t have it, never will, and proceeded to cancel my order. I get home another 45 minutes later, and see an email that the mower order was cancelled…but again, the warranty is on the way! Another store that can’t do inventory or cancel orders correctly!! HaHaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!!! Seriously, what a joke! I called customer service and the last person I talked to was very helpful and cancelled everything.Funny thing is…I’d given up on Home Depot years ago, because of the lack of customer service in store. I just started going across the street to Lowes. There’s always a Lowes across the street no matter where you are. Plus, I’m a veteran, and the military discount was easier to use at Lowes. Since it had been a while, and this was a simple one item curbside pickup, I thought I’d give Home Depot another try. Never again! Thank you for wasting 4 hours of my life Home Depot! Worst shopping experience ever!

Whoever is working at the service desk today has hung up on me twice I have simply asked to be connected with someone to help me with backsplash and every time that nobody answers it sends me back to her and I hear her briefly in the background for a second and then I told her the first time that it hung up and now she has done it twice very bad customer service I definitely recommend going elsewhere

I did ask for help with anchors for a kitchen sink and the person asking me if I need it help, he informed me that they don't sell them, but I found them by my self, also the men's bathroom was disgusting, and is really hard to reported it, they give you a number to call, after 4 different menus they informed you to call back on regular times.

Stopped by the flooring desk and asked about type of mortar or thinset to use and the flooring associate had no idea what I was talking about and suggested I google it. I promptly apologized for wasting their time and left the store. I gave one star as there was no choice for zero stars. I proceeded to the Summerville location where a knowledgeable sales associate helped me with my purchase.
