I brought my senior dog in for a bucket list spa day and she left looking the best she has ever looked! Not only was the staff beyond kind to take her on short notice, but they treated her with such care. She is 16 and typically struggles with moving around for a few days after the groomer. When we left Tails Gone Wild, she jumped right in the car and got out on her own when we got home! I wish I would have found Tails Gone Wild a long time ago. I wanted her last bath to be the the best bath she had ever had and it was! I cannot thank them enough for taking such special care of my girl.

Took my golden that has anxiety issues to be groomed here (due to his anxiety, have always used mobile groomers) but wanted to try Tails Gone Wild due to all their positive reviews. Was so impressed with their compassionate and professional service. And so thankful that my boy was able to be like a “normal” dog for once. Already have recommended and will continue to use their services.

Tails Gone Wild are the very best groomers around! Ms. Sue and Marie are super-talented, patient, kind, and professional! I started bringing my dogs there out of convenience (on my route to/from work) when they opened up years ago, but now I go out of my way to continue bringing my fur babies there! No longer on my route, but so worth the trip! I highly recommend checking them out!

Tail Gone Wild is by far one of THE BEST GROOMERS my poodles have ever been to!Sue & her staff are great. None of my poodles have ever been poorly groomed, none have suffered razor burn on their faces or feet or tummies. I recommend them very highly for any pet grooming needs! Susan Petinga

I know it’s hard to get an appointment with this groomer. The wait is worth it. Susan and Marie do great work on my dog. Molly loves going there and she always leaves happy, smelling good and looking great. I feel their prices are reasonable and the service is more than you would expect. If you go, take a minute to see some of the dogs they are grooming on the grooming stand. There are some beautiful dogs being taken care of by these two. What a talent!

Our golden doodle has been going to Tails Gone Wild for close to 5 years. She goes monthly, has always come home smelling fresh and cut perfectly. On top of that, she loves to go there, paws at the door to get in, so you know they treat her well. We call it her spa day.

Sue, the owner of Tails Gone Wild, is amazing. She is friendly, always remembers you and your pet, and great at what she does. Every time I pick up my dog she looks great, happy, and the work is always consistent. Would highly recommend this local business for your pet grooming needs.

They treat our 2 Aussies like they were their very own. (one is a senior dog with health issues) was hesitant when finding a groomer in the area and TGW is the best. Won't take the dogs anywhere else.

Took my dog here who was a rescue and afraid of new people. Sue was did a phenomenal job making him feel secure and he looks beautiful. You can tell she really enjoys what she does. Highly recommended to anyone!

Sue does a great job on our two dogs! We have two pure breed schnauzers and we get a very specialized schnauzer cut. She always remembers our dogs and our preferences (she takes notes) on skirt leg, leg hair length, and how we like to cut the schnauzers eye brow slightly shorter! Would highly recommend here.

We absolutely love Tails Gone Wild. Our dogs are well taken care of and come home fresh and clean! We moved over a year ago to Johns Island but still bring our dogs across town for their grooming each month. Highly recommend!

Sue met us and Lucy, a Schnauzer Standard puppy. She sat on the floor with her advised me on what they were going to do and some grooming tips for me at home. Lucy looked great when I picked her up, it takes me about an hour to get to their location but I am going back. Very friendly and knowlegedgeable.

I called to schedule an appt for my 2 dogs that are fearful of being groomed. Advised the girl who answered the phone that they particularly don’t like their feet touched or nails being clipped. I was told they won’t take dogs like mine?!? My dogs are sweet and well socialized, but if grooming is not at the top of your dogs favorite thing to do, call someone else.

Great place! We took our standard poodle Mozart and it was his first time at a professional groomer; they were very understanding and patient with him and made him look like a poodle again. He looks amazing and will be back every month now. Thank you!

I would not recommend this place as they refused our dog after 3 plus times of grooming him. They were very unprofessional and handled the situation poorly. They allowed us to make an appointment for our dog and then when we got there we were refused service.
