Amazing work to clean my filthy rug!Rug Masters exceeded my expectations to clean my off-white rug which had very dirty wear areas and a stained circle from dog vomit (chocolate no less). It looks nearly new again and no sign of the stain.

Not only was the service exceptional but Rug Masters got my oriental rug so clean it came back with vibrant colors I didn’t even know it had. This rug had been through it (kids, dogs, family gatherings etc) and hadn’t been cleaned in years but they got out every last stain, including what I’m pretty sure was a paint stain that was 10+ years old. Plus they were priced very fairly (but honestly what they did to this rug was priceless)

I’ve been using Rug Masters for 20 years. Their expertise in caring for and cleaning oriental rugs is the best I’ve ever come across from San Francisco to Charleston. And to top things off they have an adorable dog to greet you. (I hope the dog is still healthy and happy since my last visit!)

I've had great experience at Rug Masters. They took wonderful care of my heirloom rugs, and were able to tell me about the history and story behind my rugs just by looking at them - origin, meaning, etc. Very knowledgable. Beyond that, they were able to get out difficult pet stains and also did a home visit to "diagnose" my rug and provide a thoughtful recommendation about how to care for it. I am so happy we choose Rug Masters to care for our family heirlooms.

I had a great experience with Rug Masters. They did a great job with my old rug that desperately needed cleaning from being stored, moved across country, and inadvertently punished by two dogs. Their prices are very competitive, and when I return to pick it up, it felt and look brand new. I was very pleased with them and will certainly use them again.

I would never take my rugs anywhere else for cleaning or repair! Multi-generational family owned & operated. They are incredibly knowledgeable. Cleaning rates are very reasonable. Repairs cost what they cost, & you get what you pay for with repairs. They will give you honest opinions & advice. All of their work has been exemplary. I haven't ever purchased rugs there - I've gotten very lucky at estate auctions - but I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this family.

We looked at thousands of rugs online and in other local stores before buying a hand knotted wool rug from Rug Masters. They made it super easy to try out the rugs we liked in our own home, with no sales pressure or gimmicks. That gave us the confidence to purchase one, already knowing it works great in our space. I purchased a rug in Israel, and wanted to get it appraised. Kurt used his expertise to give me an honest, professional evaluation. The rug was not of the quality that I was told / sold... Kurt was so kind and apologetic, and didn't even charge me for the appraisal. Fortunately, I didn't really lose too much money, based on the value of the rug, but did not get the deal I thought. Due to Kurt's appraisal, I was able to put in a dispute with the credit card company and will likely get my money back. THANKS, KURT!!!

9-25-13To Whom It May Concern,I brought my wool rug to rug masters to have cleaned. After I received the rug back the tuft backing was permeating to the front of the rug. I spoke with John, the owner and told him that my wife and I were very upset on how our rug was returned to us. He explained to me that the rug that we had cleaned was not very good quality and this was a common problem with this type of rug. The owner was very professional and curteous through all of our conversations and stated that he would remedy the problem just bring the rug back. I did so, and was extremely pleased by the extraordinary customer service that was shown to us. Rug Masters went through every inch of carpet with hand shears and trimmed the exposed tuft strands. John (the owner) clearly bent over backwards to remedy the situation. Long story short, the rug was returned in better condition than when we left it. I would highly recommend Rug Masters for all my future rug cleanings and purchases. They were very knowledgeable and had a great selection at very reasonable prices.Michael N. Miller

What a wonderful place! I first went in here a few days ago to get a rug cleaned and then was told that they could fix one of my smaller persians. Well I went back today to get some new rugs and got a full tour of the facility and was delighted to find that they had finished the cleaning and repair. This place is by far the best place I have ever walked in and will send my rugs back to them every year for a cleaning.

Rug Masters worked miracles cleaning a rug that I thought was a goner. Over the holidays, I dropped a casserole dish of buffalo chicken dip on our brand new light blue rug. After, unsuccessfully, cleaning the rug myself, using DIY tips, I dropped off the rug at Rug Masters and then picked it up a week later. Not only was the stain gone, but they also took care of a shedding problem!I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Not only are they talented and efficient, but also professional and pleasant. Thank you!

Their expertise and knowledge is amazing. I walked in with a very old rug and the gentleman recognized it immediately! Introduced at Marshall Fields in 1929. He even knew the name and that it was Karastan! Can't wait to see it cleaned and bound.
