I love Publix. Shelves always stocked. Always enough staff to help and checkout. Deli, great. Bakery, great. The only thing i don't like is the limited number of brands they stock. But I'm willing to endure this to help keep prices down. Bonus: the pharmacy is top notch also.

The entirety of the three stars given was due to the outstanding professionalism of the personnel in the meat department. Brian was able to provide several custom cuts, was very knowledgeable, and was the epitome of professionalism and customer service.Unfortunately, the rest of my encounter fell short. Ironically enough, the people whose responsibilities are entirely customer service oriented were the reason I deducted two stars. The cashier and the person bagging the groceries did not engage or speak to me at all, even when I said , "good morning". It actually seemed as if they purposefully avoided even looking in my direction.I will go back to the meat department for sure, but now I know to expect nothing beyond that.

I’ve been shopping here for years, but had such a bad interaction with staff the other day that I’ve decided to take my business to Harris Teeter. Walked into the store when it was raining, first shopping cart was wet, so I pushed it over to the side. Second cart had trash in it so I put the trash in the wet cart, and kept the 2nd cart for my shopping. An employee (a teenager) walked in and quite rudely told me to put the 1st cart back. I said it was wet and had trash in it, so he told me to throw the trash away. I told him I did not work there, he did… (I did tell a manger, he said he’d talk to him but didn’t seem too concerned.) Now, I understand that folks are having trouble finding decent staff. But if you hire someone with that bad of an attitude, you’ll lose customers. I’m taking care of a mother with stage 4 cancer, and I just don’t need any extra grief. Hoping the kids at HT will be a bit better!

I love shopping here. Such a pleasant experience from the fresh baked bread to the seafood country to the scratch made food. Good fresh selection of fruits and veggies and super nice people.

I went here around 7 pm. I picked up some chicken wings. I tried them on my way to Goose Creek, and the wings tasted old and stale. I had to return them to the Goose Creek store. No questions were asked when I returned them, and here is my feedback.

I use to love Publix, but lately the food quality has not been good. I went to purchase cheese, and noticed mold on it. My son went to drink milk which the date was still good, but the milk was spoiled. The expiration dates on food items are near time bought as well. My mother has been having the some issues. My biggest complaint is the rudeness of the pharmacy employees!

I recently had a disappointing experience at Publix due to the cashier's rude behavior during checkout. The cashier was dismissive and unfriendly, making the overall shopping experience unpleasant. I believe customer service is crucial, and this encounter fell short of the standard I expect from Publix. I hope the management addresses these issues for the benefit of other customers.

They have gluten free lemon cake in the bakery AND flourless chocolate torte! 🤩 Both are fabulous! Always clean and organized, fresh fruit and veggies, great selection of gluten free items! ♥️

You need to install self check out at this location. It's great that you employee older folks but it's very inconvenient to only have 2 lanes open 1 being express and both cashiers 80 years old.

Gave only one star because of the deli department. For years and years this location is having problems with their sandwiches. You place an order online and when you come to pick it up at time that said on a ticket you still have to wait for another 30 minutes just for them to tell you your sandwiche is not ready for all kind of reasons. Every thime is some different reason. The attitude is very poor, they get mad at you if you ask them anything. Ridiculous. Poor job, very poor job. You should hire more people to work at this department, it's obviously need more crew

I will never come back here. New to area and experience the worst embarrassment and angry to the point of tears.Accidentally got in 10 items or less line and the male white cashier said mam and pointed to the sign. I didn’t know at first what he was trying to say by pointing until he pointed again as if read it for yourself. Keep in mind they’re our customers in the line before and after me. I had a total of 11 items to be exact. He never said I will do it this time but.. nothing just stood there saying nothing. I said so you will not ring me up. He pointed once again to the 10 items or less and stood there. I grab my stuff off his line as he watched me and I went to another line. Apart of me was like leave the groceries there on his line and walk out.Went to next line and was greeted and my items got cashed out. You man that was bagging was very nice as well.Spoke to Sean the manager of this location and he was kind and understanding. He said he will coach the young man that denied me service. Actually that’s really not enough. He laughed at me with another white customer that makes it all real bad for me. This is not ok. It really made me feel a way. And in front of my grandkids. That’s not a great display that all people are good people.Something needs to be done besides coaching. He need disciplinary action taken on many levels and off the register period.There is more details but I will be happy to address personally.

Deli is fire and they frequently have hard to find ingredients or items that the other major grocery chains just don't stock anymore. Quality of all food items is amazing, never had an issue in 7 years

The In person deli experience has ruined this staff. Ordering online just happens to waste your time than save you some. This has happened twice in a row. Never a third. The deli staff need training and understand the value of someone’s time. The sub I received was slapped together in 5 minutes. Pressed inside the wrapper.The managers were notified. Sub was left with them. I left after they went to make me another. Not into wasting more of my time on others today or any other day.Hopefully this store will be back to the way it was a couple years ago. Full of a fun staff and always eager to please.

Just popped in for a few items, we are visiting from the Atlanta area. Ava at the Deli made us a sandwich and she was delightful, so pleasant and friendly. The sandwich was excellent. One thing I love about Publix, you can always count on them to have a clean, well stocked store and pleasant employees, whether in your home town or whilst on vacation.

Excellent location, good everyday prices, clean, organized, friendly and very helpful staff over many years. They are the ones that open during hurricanes and evacuations, when everyone else is closed. Thank you to the good people working at Publix!

Great place to stop before going to folly beach nice people and clean environment fresh food and just a ray of sunshine no matter what the weather stop buy a visit fresh produce hot deli dinners subs and sides great meat selection custom cuts and the bakery is sweet as can be hot fresh bread and cakes cup sakes and pies cookies and ice cream cakes love it here it's all a pleasure and the store manager Jared is everything cherry on top

This Publix is usually quite busy during the afternoon rush hour, I think it's best to get there in the early morning, before the real crowd starts mid-afternoon.

I ordered a cake online for my rehearsal dinner and that same day i placed the order i called the bakery to change the size of the cake. The gentleman i spoke with to change the size of the cake, did not enter it in properly to the system.It’s the morning of the rehearsal dinner, I get a call from a nice lady asking which cake i wanted because she saw to orders for me and thought there might have been a mixup. I told her the size, she said thank you! it’ll be ready tonight!with it being the night before my wedding, i had to send a family member to go and pick up the cake for the rehearsal dinner for me... well... it was not the right cake or the right size. it was round and red and nothing close to what i ordered online. I called the bakery frantically because it was the time of my rehearsal dinner on a completely different island!! After talking to several managers on the phone, they made TWO cakes for me and my original cake was definitely made (praise the Lord).. I asked them to come deliver it to me and they did. I appreciated their kindness and I wish I could remember the gentleman’s name of who delivered the cake— i believe he was the bakery manager. Anyways, I really appreciate it. That made my rehearsal dinner much better than only 1/4 of my guests getting to get cake with the cake i originally had gotten. The writing of the cake was sloppy, but it still tasted good.Thank y’all so much!
