I am so grateful for the staff at PetSmart by Citadel Mall. My sweet little dog went suddenly blind and my vet recommended noise activated cat toys. One of the employees, I did not get her name but she is from Indiana, was so helpful and knowledgeable. She recommended a bird 🐦 toy that makes chirping noises. Our little dog loves his new friend! Thanks for making a little dog's tail wag again for the first time since going blind. Y'all are the best!!

For the second time, I've been told over the phone that they have fish for sale, and for the second time, it was a waste of gas and time. The guy in the fish area says their not for sale they are under quarantine. That 's why hell we made the call first so it wouldn't be a waste of a trip that should have been said over the phone. But that's OK, your store isn't an option for us anymore!

We are always greeted at the door. Everyone has been so friendly over the years. We’ve bought dog items fish items and everything has been so easy to find. Staff are always so helpful if we are unable to find what we are looking for. I highly recommend this pet store.

I want to let you know that the staff that is handling the Santa pictures this year were fantastic. It was chaos and they kept things moving and took great pictures. They were very engaging with all the dogs. I have done this for over 20 years and by far one of the best. Thank you for doing this for your customers

The staff is always really great at the registers. Finding help on the floor though... Not the strong suit. I tend to find interesting stuff, but Amazon has way better prices and selection. In a pinch Petsmart is my go to.

This has been my favorite place to go to since moving to west Ashley. I’ve gotten a few gift cards for my friends to use here.Lots of products to choose from for dogs & cats when it comes to food and other care needs and their aquamarine section is just as well stocked.It’s always clean in here and the cashiers are always down to hold a conversation every time I go to check out.I’m leaving this review because today’s experience was the best.We got to speak to an employee Suzanne who was really knowledgeable about cat food and the brand we were looking for and spoke with us a little bit abojt the products. We got to speak even further while checking out the one kitten that was up for adoption and over all it was a pleasant time.Everyone on staff works so hard and does it so well, you can tell they work there due to their love for animals and love for the environment of the store.Love this place and I’m happy to shop here every time. Keep it up y’all! The community appreciates your hard work.

Great place with lots of pet items for all of your Fur Baby's needs! From Felines to Canines, Birds to Fish, Reptiles and more, they have multiple products and pets for adoption I believe they host a veterinary clinic inside for specific checkups. They have a Kitten adoption area as well!

Took our standard poodle puppy (9 months old) for his 1st professional grooming. They did a fantastic job. I think we found a great place to take both of our standard poodles. Bella goes on tuesday morning. Can't wait to see how pretty she will look. Thank you for the great service!

Fully stocked with everything one might need. I just got a kitten and found a small litter box and toys and mats and great food selection. Even cat grass although Iike everything else, price is over a buck more than 2 yrs ago.

I have taken both my dogs to the groomers here for 7 and 12 years. Today was not fun. Older dog couldn't get grooming done because I couldn't get rabies shot record from closed vet. Time wasted.

I just completed the Beginner and Intermediate Education classes with Christina for my dog, Nacho, on 3/20/22. I just wanted to review Christina and her wonderful impact on Nacho.Nacho was adopted 12/19/21 from Dorchester Paws and at 5 years old, he had no manners. He had no idea how to sit or lay down, or any basic manners that dogs have. I enrolled him for the January beginner class, and Christina was able to get through to him! 12 weeks of class later - he listens to me, is able to walk better on a leash, and follows basic commands (sit, laydown, stay, leave it, drop it, etc.) Christina was a really great teacher and really taught me how to teach Nacho things. I was fairly lost on how to communicate with a dog who had NO manners, but she was able to demonstrate and help me train him. I highly recommend her classes to any pet parent who needs some guidance for basic behaviour training.I am looking forward to taking the Advanced class with Christina to work on Nacho’s leash skills next!

What an amazing staff. I fainted in this store and two employees fanned me down by hand, got me water, a chair and crackers and made me feel so much better. Compassion and care at its core, and I imagine the same goes for our furry friends if this is how they treat the humans!! I will only be shopping at this store from now on. Thank you so much!

I needed help finding some new food for my very fat cats who are being put on a diet. The employee was extremely helpful and didn't leave until i made sure I found what I was looking for (much appreciated.) They have all of the specialty animal care product's that I cant find at places like Walmart. My boyfriend and I love taking his dog here, he gets so excited by the treats and toys, not to mention the other dogs...that in its self makes it worth the trip for me!

We just had a great grooming experience with Deanna recently. She did exactly what I asked for on my Yorkie and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! She was actually recommended to me by other dog moms first. Highly recommend Deanna for grooming.

The one thing that I love about this location is their amazing customer service.... Always greeted when I walk through the door, asked if I need help finding anything. Overall the employees at this location are cheery, are happy to help, seem like they want to be there, and generally have a good demeanor. The store also seems clean Everytime I visit, which is saying something for a store that allows pets lol.I normally visit the fish side.... The following is about their live plants and fish.The only live aquarium plants they have are those topfin ones in a tube that are an absolute pain to open.... Hit or miss on quality (got an anubias and two types of Amazon sword w no imperfections... Some packages are dead, some are half dead that would potentially grow but with no discount offered no one buys them. I bought a Java fern that had decent new growth but existing was brown. (photo attached is of the live plants bought from there minus the cabomba and duckweed from another of my tanks)The fish, it's kind of like any other chain.... The tanks look clean but u still see the random dead fish or 8, and the risk of ick and whatever else is potentially there but they haven't given my tanks anything since I've started restocking again the past couple months.Prices compared to online for fish supplies (filters, filter media, decor), I normally find better deals online honestly.

In line too long and ended up putting what I was going to buy back on the shelf, and then left. One register open, and the cashier was super friendly and nice, but he was taking a long time to close transactions, seemed unaware the line was backed up so far, greeting arriving customers and chatting it up with them, etc... Not trying to be picky and we like shopping there, we just didn't have time to wait that long today.
