This was the only pet store in town that carried the brand of dog food we needed while traveling. We were running out and I called and they put me on hold and verified they had it. In either 5lb or 28lb bag. Then offered to set aside for me up front at the cashier station so I could pick it up that day. When I came in they immediately cashed me out! Above and beyond and made my day.

Stopped in for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how clean the aquariums were. Staff members said they are cleaned every day, and it shows. Highly recommended store for aquarists.

100% recommend this place! The staff is exceptional, always so helpful and friendly. Not to mention their grooming station is adorable and their grooming services are great. Megan did the absolute best job! I will not go anywhere else again!

I’d like to start by saying that I like this store a lot, the location is very convenient, I love the products, and the employees are very nice. But, I do have a very big issue/concern.Almost every time I come in there is an employee who has the animals in the back out, the ferrets to be specific, and she seems to be making videos with them while they’re clearly in distress. I’ve also seen her up in the front messing with the cats on multiple occasions and they also appear to be in distress, I’ve worked with kittens in the past and when she’s up with them they do not seem comfortable or happy. While I don’t think this reflects the quality of the store I do think that this behavior does reflect negatively on the decision of the management and who they place in charge of the animals.

My gsd, just loves coming in here! After we've been out adventuring and him being a good listener, he's gets any treat. We walk the aisle with the treats and he sniffs out whichever one he wants.What can I say the customer service has been great, dog's welcome, and it's down the road from where I live.

Great staff and amazing service provided. We typically get the standard grooming package with the de-shedding treatment for our dog. Highly recommend!

Im reviewing the bathing area. Ive used other bathing locations for the same stores but this location is very dissapointing. The bathing area is fine and if all you want is a bath then for $15 you will get a washed dog. But the blow dryer is a joke. It blows cold air and is like a gentle fan. It is not a high velocity and you cant make it hot or blow any faster. Very dissapointing. I come here for the dryer, I can bathe my dog at home with no dryer and for $15 I expected the high velocity dryer all the other locations have.

Was very excited to finally have another pet store on the island and have been checking weekly in search of a particular color parakeet. The price has been $29.99 since they opened the store and I was hoping that a grand opening sale would include the parakeets. Yesterday I went to store with my grand opening coupon from the paper only to find that the prices have been increased (temporary price covering the original price)by 15 perfect and now the coupon I useless because now the the birds are $0.50 more than before sale…. I guess I’ll stay loyal to Petsmart!

Very friendly pet store on James Island. Every time I go in it is well stocked and the staff is super helpful. I love seeing the animals when there and the staff is very attentive to their needs and make sure they get lots of attention. The bath area is a plus too.
