I am a frequent shopper of this store. In the last month it has been nothing but issues. First time I had to bag my own groceries while the manger stood behind customer service talking to employees. When asked where are the baggers? She laughed and said on break. Then today two check outlines open. Even four employees stated that they need to open some lines and apologized as the continued to do online shopping. Managers response is I don’t have workers. It’s a Sunday people trying to shop for the week. I frequent other Harris Teeters in the west Ashley area and this store seems to be only one with management and staffing issues. This use to be one of the best stores in West Ashley. If I could give less than one star I would. We will no longer use this store.

Never been here, go to pay and go in what looks like the line. Go to pay for 1 gallon of milk and the cashier says line starts over there. Apparently your cart goes in one lane then you go in another so he wouldn’t ring me up and tells me to go back to the end of the line. But when I got there there wasn’t anyone in the lane. Frustrated never going back to this place and it wasn’t even busy and I only had 1 item.

Great store! Typical Harris Teeter.While I love the store, I encountered a very rude cashier named Delores. She was an old lady who looked sweet but was super rude. No greeting, no smile, and just rude in general. As an older lady, she’d be better suited to stay home and rest.

I visit this location quite often. I would say majority of the staff are quite helpful, but there is one person in the deli/bread area that is quite rude and consistently gives bad service.

Harris Teeter does not honor advertised, instore pricesOn February 13 while checking out at Line 1 with cashier Emily. the attached WW item rang up incorrectly. The cashier was trying to help but the bag boy continuously interfered and told Emily the item was not on sale even though I showed both employees the attached photograph indicating the sale price was good until 2/16. They would not correct the price.It dawned on me that if Harris Teeter just rang up one sales item wrong per customer per day the store would generate thousands of extra revenue each ,month without the knowledge of the customer. This practice is unethical and sleuth at the same time.

Shopping here regularly is one of the pleasures of my life. Many of the staff deli, butcher/seafood, pharmacy, etc know me and make me feel welcome every time I enter the store.

I went to customer service to check out 3 ítems and possible get some ítems from behind The counter. When i put my items on the counter the Manager Jerico said That he cant check me out and his reason is You cant purchase at the customer service counter. Customer Service doesnt have quanity for purchase nor is it 10 items or less. Not to mention i shop their every day. My Vic card will say the truth. This is my Second encounter with this Manager. Two weeks ago I left my LGV60 in the store at the customer service counter purchasing items. When i came back the for 1st time Jerico said no one left a phone up front. He didnt ask anyone nor did he ask management, Verizon put a GPS Alert on the device and they found it right were i left it at the customer service counter. This manager is horrible, this is how loyal customer never come back. THIS is how racial output happen Black man cant get check out because a another race says thats the store rule. So ill call Harris Teeter Head Office and Let Them know managers are Making Executive decisions on a store level..The other two Employes who wittness handle the situation and check me out.

Came in to Starbucks after 6am. The guy behind the register proceeded to speak to a women working for Harris Teeter, disregarding me standing in front of him. After a additional 7mins. He then says to me " We won't be open for another 20mins bc my machine is down. Assuming all I wanted was a beverage. Starbucks Please Do Better!!!!!

Pretty well-stocked store in terms of produce. Sometimes their international food aisles are missing some things for a little while. Customer service makes up for it though. Sales associates and cashiers are really nice and patient. Good grocery store! Recommend for sure.

Harris teeter is just like any other grocery store. It has its good, and it’s bad. What I find absolutely unacceptable, is they change their store hours at their own will. This is not a privately owned business, so I can’t for one second understand it. Anyway, they have good produce, good priced meats, and good deals IF you are a Harris teeter member, which is free. Back to the hours, they actually recommend you check their website before shopping there to see if they are open, Because they just have zero clue if or when they will be. Today, Sunday, they do not open until 11 am. Which is unacceptable for a grocery store, the level on entitlement is so so bizarre to me.

I have shopped at the Harris Teeter location on Savannah Hwy, in the St. Andrews Shopping Center for several years now and have stopped by this location sometimes twice a week. As it's time to check out, I am sure to look for the friendliest, sweetest, cashier, Brittnie C. She has the absolute greatest personality, definitely a "people person," with excellent customer service skills. No matter how many customers she's had or even if she's had a long day, you would never know it. If Brittnie is not available, I will go to self-check out. Harris Teeter, you have a "keeper" there. She is a great asset to your team.

I go here at least 3 nights a week to get something to cook for dinner from meat and seafood dept. Always a good fish selection. Also have heirloom bacon that's cheaper than buying packaged and 10x better. Probably regret this cause now it will be sold out every day. Oysters frequently too. Usually 79 cents. Highly recommend! Chad and Dakota good resource!

INSTACART. The people pulling the orders at the store are not willing to look for the correct items and are lazy, they will put off filling orders. So instacart at harris teeter is a joke.

Not sure why you guys decided to get rid of the veteran parking and the expecting mothers parking and also the mothers with children parking spots that were all conveniently right there in the front now you no longer have those signs so everybody else is now parking there who used to not park there so those of us who did need those spots such as my pregnant wife such as me being a veteran and days that my back and knees aren’t working like they need to now I’ve got to park further away and I do not appreciate that stop taking things away from those who need it Please put the sign back

Honestly, I doubt you will find another grocery store to truly compete with Harris Teeter. The have fundamentals in Customer Satisfaction, Safety, and Cleanliness. They are also determined to making sure you find and are satisfied with everything you need to purchase. Some prices may not always be the best, but you are really paying for the excellent service. Highly recommend the VIC program, which is their free rewards card, as you can get customized weekly deals that are hard to beat by any other grocery store.

Excellent experience today! Was shopping very distractedly in the meat department and picked up a package of chicken. An associate, Melvin I believe his name was, went above and beyond in pointing out how I could save money on my purchase today. I was extremely thankful for his friendly and helpful advice. Checkout with Casey was smooth as he carefully packed up my purchase. Thank you!Update January 1, 2022 this is still my favorite grocery store. I pass up a Harris Teeter closer to my house just to shop at this store.

S/o to Shanta- I came in around 5 PM, and the produce was pretty picked over by that point. She saw me struggling to find some cantaloupe, and took the initiative to go check in the back to make sure I would have the best looking fruit with best price possible. I really appreciate that she was looking out for the people in her store without anyone having to ask for help first- that’s next level customer service and she definitely deserves a raise! Thank you so much!

Their bakery has the best blueberry muffins! And its only this location! Today was the first day I went and they didn't look all scrumptious, with the sugar glistening on top.....🤩😆 But overall. It's a nice store. 🙂

I love this store! Meat mark down prices are amazing if you are lucky enough to catch them and their selection of items can’t be beat! Sometimes their prices are a little high but double and triple coupons and weekly specials are true money savers! LOVE The seasonal item selection, AND the convenience of a 24 hr store so close to my house! Also their clearance items are amazing deals!!!!

Well customer service is real good if you're not working employees yeah great day service I suggest you check them out sometime and I do believe when you fix the food it's impeccable electrical and with that said you got that from your boy peace we all right in the heart of Charleston South Carolina

Good service but most of what I was looking for was removed from the shelf or was limited in product for me to buy at that time wasn't back yet to check to see if it was restocked or put back in the store. Hopefully my next visit will be a better one and I can give them a five star. But for right now as far as I can go is a four-star.

What can I say WOW... first time I've been in a Harris Teeter in years, went there on my recent trip to Charleston. This store was great, beautiful on the inside everything you could want. The thing I like the most is how all of the refrigerated items we're behind glass doors, this made me feel better about food safety, unlike most grocery stores you go to that these cold items are in cases that are open to the rest of the store. Again I love my visit there staff was great, and oh by the way they had a Starbucks inside.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful - this store has the BEST staff! Their grocery selection is excellent and the store is always well-stocked and very clean. I love the VIC program and all the amazing sales! And the HT brand products are my favorite - amazing quality and very reasonably priced.

Best grocery store in town in my opinion. I always shop via the Harris Teeter app and it's ready in just a few hours. This convenience reduces my stress and saves my money. They can even deliver if you are in a crunch. The staff is always super friendly. I could not recommend them more!
