Great deals, clean store, nice customer service. Fresh seafood and awesome steaks!! Some folks think this is an expensive place to shop, but the VIC deals are so worth going. Yes, some things are overpriced and better prices can be found elsewhere, but....the fresh food, deli options, ready to eat items are amazing!! Love shopping here!!

Love how people give a bad review bc they had to wait in a line when they chose the busiest time of the busiest day to go grocery shopping 😂... I kind of expect to wait a lil longer in line at 1215pm than I would at 1215am but I guess common decency is rare now a days.The sushi is great btw, I always get it for lunch :-)

You need better customer service in the meat dept. Had I not already been in the store with a toddler I would have left and gone to Publix to get the items I needed. My mistake it won’t happen again.

This place is filled with the absolutely most unhelpful people. On a TUESDAY night, with customers few in the store, I accidentally drop a gallon of milk. Wanting to be better than all of the employees that chose to come to work and hate their job so much to the point of just not doing it, I head up to customer service to either 1. Let them know to have another employee bring a mop over considering half a gallon of milk is on the floor or 2. Getting paper towels to clean it up myself. I ended up going the ladder of the paper towels only after the woman at CUSTOMER SERVICE STARTED TO WALK AWAY FROM ME??? Mid conversation??? So I follow her and ask her what she’d like me to do and at that point she points to 1/4 full roll of paper towels. Now these aren’t just any regular paper towels.. no no no that would be too simple. I’m telling you, these paper towels wouldn’t even be used in a prison. It doesn’t soak up jack. Borderline sand paper. I do my best and while doing so 5 employees walk in and out from the back doors. Because did I mention this right RIGHT BY THE EMPLOYEE ENTRANCE DOOR. At this point I absorbed what I could from the floor, abandoned my cart, let a cashier know about the issue again. And proceed to leave. I truly hope no one fell due to the spill unless it was one of the unhelpful people I spoke to. Will be going to Ashley circle from now on.

This grocery store is always the most tidy of them all. Publix and Whole Foods are right behind the Teeter but it's so clean you have to search out like dirty stuff or even dirt. Hats off to the front line associates who are the true heroes. Definitely not the management who I've heard are actually allergic to hard work or dirt of any kind. True Story

Worst HT. If you have hours to spend in line waiting for an untrained cashier to take hours taking their sweet time scanning your times, then this is the place for you. Who ever the store manager is should be fired. If we were all this bad at our job, but still got to run a store, shows how poor the company really is.

Probably the worst Harris Teeter in the whole company.Went to the deli and it turned in to an all day affair. Clerk obviously hated her job. Was acknowledged and then looked over. Service was the worst that I ever had in 50 years of shopping.The working conditions at this location must be terrible as most of the employees have a terrible attitude.I will not shop at this store again.Hasn't been the 1st time for a terrible experience at this location.Had an issue with the produce manager and his customer service about 10 months ago.Stay away!!!!!!!

Usually things are easygoing and people are nice here, but not today.. Teach your elderly women cashiers some respect. I know times are hard but some customers are trying to do their ‘job’ as well; get in and out. No need for passive aggression and/or attitude.

The most poorly run store. No baskets at entry. Lines are 10 people deep to checkout. No one at service counter. Coin star machine is broken. Each time I come to this store I’m reminded why I don’t like it. Can never get out of there without a long wait.

Harris Teeter has the best selection of super market items in the Low Country.Prefer the quality, freshness, diverse offerings, custom departments.Not the cheapest or most expensive. I would say the best.

One of the staff members in the seafood department needs to be trained how to package steamer clams properly. I asked for the bag not to be sealed and explained that they will perish if no air circulation. She seems irritated with me.

The Asian prepped food section is better than local Chinese take out restaurants. The veggies are so fresh and flavorful. The orange friend chicken is to die for. I’m so happy I found this grocery store.

Nice new Harris Teeter location, very busy, good selections with nice specialty areas. Employees are friendly and helpful, dairy section is excellent. Main reason I cannot give 5 stars is because someone royally screwed up when they combined the pharmacy pickup lane and the online shopping pickup lane, so I have to wait for pharmacy customers (who sometimes take a long time) even though I am just picking up my online order. I much prefer the design of the Savannah Highway store that has a dedicated pharmacy pickup lane and 4 spaces near the front entrance that are designated for picking up online orders.

I shop at this store weekly/semi weekly and always have great service and have for the last several years I have lived in west Ashley (regardless, if it is deli/butcher/customer service) But today my cashier Peggy was so sweet and fast and kind and I felt very taken care this store like I usually do

This online shopping thing is not as advertised. They said “as easy as 1-2-3” Been sitting in my car for 30 minutes and they are still on the first car. I could have shopped myself in this time and not wasted my gas sitting here waiting in line.

Usually have nothing but great things to say about this one, but ordering from the deli online is something I will no longer do after the order I received. The ham was shredded, the turkey was too thick, as well as the cheese. The only thing from the order that was correct was to have the cheeses in separate packages. How that was seen and not the other msgs is beyond me. Other than that they are awesome. You live and you learn.

Self-checkout line consistently backs up all the way to the back of the store. It's 5 pm and there are 2 lanes open, giving you really only the option of doing self-checkout. Hate coming to any teet in Charleston anymore. If you can't hire enough people to work, then invest in more checkout aisles.

To say I am disappointed in this store is an understatement. My experience with grocery pickup was atrocious. Overcharged for items ($27 for 3 pears), waited over 20 minutes for them to figure out what they were doing while my frozen foods thawed and melted, and was met with the rudest associate, quite possibly the most unpleasant person I have had to deal with all year. I have shopped at Harris Teeter for the last time. Picking up groceries is a much simpler and more pleasant experience at any other grocery store in the area.
