Love Dog Tired! I used to go to the John’s Island location and switched to James island due to a move. Ashley at the front is amazing and has helped me so much in scheduling, comfort, care and ease of service. The new groomer, Beth, went above and beyond to help make the grooming experience for my 15yr old dementia pup the least stressful it can be for her. Ashley worked to get me in early so she’s groomed first, and as a team they both took the best care and kept me updated along the way with frequent texts. I love them and so does my pup! Her smile in the parking lot here (pic) speaks for itself!

Dog Tired is wonderful. We camped in Charleston for a week and used Dog Tired to walk our girl. Pauline was wonderful with her and we always received pictures and a note to let us know she had visited.Debbie was my contact person and gave excellent customer service. If ever we visit Charleston again I will be sure to use them. I would recommend them for any service you might needThank You again everyone at Dog Tired made our trip great !!!!!!!

My pup seemed very happy with his visit here. Received "pawgress" reports each night letting me know how his day was. Didn't see many pic posted of him, but he's not into playing and other dogs so they probably didnt have an opportunity to take many. The staff was very nice and friendly, made me comfortable leaving him in their care. The worst thing about the place is their parking lot. Between their customers and the people getting ice, there was barely room to get in or out.

Highly recommend! We were in a pinch and needed someone to watch our dog while we were out of town, Ashley came to the rescue and was able to get us same day overnight service for our dog. Tremendous help so we didn’t have to leave our puppy alone overnight. We will absolutely use them any time we need a dog day care, not to mention the facility was great and clean and dog was super happy when picking her up.

Dog Tire is the absolute best! They take care of my dog Cheesecake extremely well. My dog is super high maintenance and they handle her perfectly. Dog Tired is the absolute best. They are extremely accommodating with last minute emergencies and situations. We had our return flight home canceled and I reached out-they happily kept Remy another night (even though our reservation had ended) and provided dog food for her which was such peace of mind in a chaotic situation. They also accommodated us when we had an unexpected hospital stay and offered to come pick her up from the house for boarding. She is always so excited to go there and is tired when she leaves. I cannot thank the staff enough and recommend them to everyone! Thank you.

Staff took time to explain everything in detail and were attentive to my dogos. So much so they give reports on each dog at pick up. Which I must say were spot on to their personalities. I feel comfortable leaving them and trust they will be well cared for and enjoy time spent there.

Dog Tired James Island never disappoints! I was worried about keeping the grooming appointment I had this week, thanks to Ashley, she made it happen! She offered me other options including their Pet Taxi Service that could drop my sweet pup off at home for me! I ended up being able to keep the appointment and Riggs looks handsome as ever. Their services are impressive. The way they greet owners and pets is outstanding and way above the standard! I am so thankful for Ashley and the entire staff at Dog Tired. I don't ever have to worry about Riggs being there, I know he is in good hands.

The staff are always accommodating, patient. and so helpful. My pup Ticker loves going to daycare, he doesn’t even look back to bark goodbye every time I drop him off. Tucker comes home tuckered and somehow with better manners. Not sure who loves his going there, him or I!

Not only was the staff so profoundly friendly and helpful, they were also so very thorough with our dog for a first day assessment. We enjoyed the daycare report card as well as handwritten note about how our pup was today during daycare. It helped calm out nerves since this was her first daycare session. She also came back happy and very tired (which is tough for her breed) due to the mixture of physical and mental activities offered for her. With that being said, we are extremely pleased with our recent experience and we are looking forward to use their services again in the future (especially our pup)! Thank you!

We were originally recommended to use Dog Tired for the wedding nanny service so we did the day care and boarding option first to see how our dog, Sunny would like them, he loved it then and loves it now! The wedding nanny, Kate was fun but also professional and Sunny loved her too. We use them for boarding and grooming services now, if we've ever had questions or concerns they've been prompt in their response time and professional with their responses. We trust them with our Sunny and are more than happy we got the recommendation.

We love Dog Tired. The staff knows our dog by name when we walk in the door and seem genuinely happy to have him there. They are extremely professional and easy to work with - booking is a breeze and we love seeing photos of our dog during the day. My dog comes home from Dog Tired (James Island) a happy and healthy dog, which did not happen at other boarding facilities. He would come home from other boarding facilities with a urinary tract infection and hide under a bed for hours. And on one occasion he escaped through a fence and the details provided by that facility were vague. My boy is a high energy and goofy German Shepherd, and I can tell the staff at Dog Tired enjoys playing with him even though he can be a handful at times. Dog Tired will continue to get my business (and Blue's).

Dog Tired was awesome for our two girls baths and treatments. We couldn’t have been happier with the services performed.It’s frustrating on Google reviews that one person who was dissatisfied because their pets vaccinations were not up to date and their appointment was cancelled can post 6, SIX 1 star reviews for the same problem. As someone who relies on reviews I was shocked and disappointed to see this. Kudos to Dog Tired for your replies to explain and make things better on any low star review.

we take our great Dane puppy a few days a week. They came highly recommended from a colleague who takes their Dane to the John's island location. So far, nothing but great experiences. He always comes home happy and tired, and we get to look at pictures of his activities. Does not seem over crowded, and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

What an amazing service. My husband and I got married this weekend at Boone Hall and could not be apart from our child, aka our Bernese puppy Walt. The perfect solution was in Dog Tired Pet Services. We were able to have Walt at our ceremony and not worry about him because he was happy and safe with the dog watcher and we were able to have him in our photos when we were ready for him. Can or recommend enough!

Wow Dog Tired is such a cool and reliable service for those looking to get married and include your dog in the event. My wife and I desperately wanted to take pictures with our puppy after the ceremony, but didn’t want to burden any family members involved in the wedding with having to watch the dog while the ceremony took place. We called Dog Tired for the nanny service and it was great in every way. One of the workers arrived at the wedding venue and watched our dog while the ceremony took place, then brought him out for pictures, and then drove him home for us so that we didn’t have to worry about him getting overheated or scared during the ceremony. When our dog got home, Dog Tired took a picture and told us that our pup was doing great.This really is a great service and I would highly recommend looking into their nanny/taxi service if you are looking for someone to help out during the wedding at a very fair price.

We were thrilled to see Dog Tired take over this location when the previous doggie daycare closed down. The renovated facility looks great, and our hound loves to go and play with other dogs to get some energy out every once in awhile. I appreciate that they also have to dogs participate in more structured training/enrichment activities, and look forward to the report card provided at the end of every visit!

Really disappointed with Dog Tired. I paid for the enrichment daycare because I wanted my German shepherd puppy to have mental stimulation during the day. I never would have brought her here if they had told me before the first day that she would be spending half her day in a crate. They explained to me that they have 4 groups of dogs and only enough outdoor space for 2 groups at a time. She gets 15 minutes outside followed by 30 minutes in her crate. For an 8 hour day that means she spent 4 hours in a crate? That’s insane when I chose this place for additional stimulation. I am use to having my dog take a mid day nap while in daycare but she is high energy and spending so much time in a crate is not what I wanted for her. Maybe you have a low energy dog that needs frequent breaks and down time, but if not I would like elsewhere.
