Words cannot describe how wonderful this practice is. We are new to the area with a 6 year old dog and a puppy. We had our first appointment a few days ago and every single person from the front desk to the tech to Dr. P was amazing to work with. Our puppy ran into a flee infestation and I called this office 10 minutes before they closed and they not only were happy to help me but also gave me great advice and worked something out for my puppy. Customer service is top tier!! As well as the clinical side of things too! 15/10 would recommend to anyone.

We have two dogs that are very comfortable with coming for their checkups. The techs and Dr P are great with the dogs and always take time to make sure I understand what is necessary for their care. I especially appreciate that any waits aren't long and everyone is easy to talk with and kind.An important note, as our girl Scout is going through a pretty rough cancer, her team has been so caring and gentle through her appointments, follow-ups and communications, and Dr P and the staff have let us lean on them as we pass through the stages.

I highly recommend Dr. Padgett and the staff at Clements Ferry Vet. They take excellent care of my three dogs ranging in age from 17 years to 12 weeks. The staff is kind and patient with, Izzie, my senior dog who is no longer able to see or hear. Vet visits can be scary for her, but the staff ensures she's comfortable and the visit is anxiety free. The level of care as well as aftercare and follow up are great. Thank you for taking such good care of my family! We love CFV!

I have never experienced such genuine empathy and caring in any vet until I met these doctors. Dr. Rains is such an amazing doctor and human. To see she goes above and beyond is an understatement. Dr Rains and the staff are so sweet and kind. I never once felt pressured to have any services. she was empathetic, knowledgeable and personable. My concerns were listened to and addressed. My little chihuahua loved the vet techs and doctor. I will definitely be taking all my animals here.

Dr. Padget and his staff are the best! I took my cat Remi to them for a second opinion when she was acting out of character. They did a great check up and found what was wrong. It led to surgery. I was so nervous for the surgery and they were amazing along the way. She had a very successful surgery and it recovering great. They all have fantastic bed side manner and call or text consistently to check up on Remi still. They actually care about getting your pet better and care about you. I’m SO thankful I came to Clement’s Ferry Vet!

As a first time pet owner, Chou Chou’s first vet visit was much less scary than what I thought it would be. The staff were engaging, helpful with all questions and made Chou Chou feel as comfortable as a rescue doggo could be.I started the process online and loved the easy chat feature that also emailed me when we chatted so I didn’t have to stay on their site. They also said I could text with updates which I love as a millennial lol. The cost of the visit with meds and a shot were affordable.I feel at ease with them and plan to keep Dr. Damon Padgett as her veterinarian.

I can't speak highly enough about this clinic. Dr. Raines and the team are wonderful all across the board. They are patient, kind and make you feel like they genuinely care about the well-being of your pet. My dog just had dental surgery and Dr. Raines went out of her way to call at night to make sure he was doing ok. I also received a call first thing in the morning for a second check in- Thanks team!

We absolutely love CFV! We started bringing our two dogs (Bernese Mountain Dog and Retriever mix) here about a year ago and could not be happier with our decision. As a retired dog trainer, I have very high expectations for our vet. Dr. Rains’ knowledge, professionalism and personality put her off the charts. Their staff is amazing with both our big goofy Bernese and our smaller, nervous Retriever mix. We really couldn’t be happier!

I’ve known Dr. Rains since we were kids; exploring her back yard that housed horses, cats, dogs and maybe a chicken or two. She had aspirations of being a veterinarian then. To now know her as professional and successful veterinarian makes me so proud. Dr. Rains and the entire staff are professional, knowledge, informative, but most important to me…. They CARE. I’ve never seen such compassion for my animals. Dr. Rains even called on her own time off to check on my 15 year old Sebastian when he was sick before he passed. And to check on ME to see how I was doing. This staff amazed me. Absolutely recommend!!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’ll make an exception for one that is truly deserved (good or bad). We are new to town and have been looking for a good vet for our 2 dogs and 1 cat for a little while. I’ve been to many vets, with many different pets, in many different locations and never had an experience worth writing about until now. Doctor Raines and her team were wonderful to me and my dog. We were greeted kindly by the lady behind the desk and quickly settled in to a room with a fresh cup of coffee. Doctor Rains was an absolute charm and made me feel like family even though it was our first time there. She was honest, very detailed, and took the time to sit with me and explain our pup’s complicated skin condition (something that I’ve never fully understood until now). They aren’t the cheapest vet around, but you get what you pay for I guess, and me and my pets will pay a little extra for quality service. Thanks Dr Raines, Victoria, and Lee (sorry if I missed anyone) for taking such good care of us. You’ll see us again!

Dr Rains is wonderful! I’d seen multiple veterinarians trying to figure out what was wrong with my rescue pup, & she diagnosed the issue right away! With her treatment plan he was back to his happy self within a week after months of trying the wrong stuff! Couldn’t recommend her & this vet group more!

I can't say enough good things about this place. I live directly across the street from a different vet and still choose to drive 25+ minutes here. Dr. Padgett and the entire staff are all so nice and make me feel so comfortable. They always get super excited to see my dog and my dog actually loves going there because of how much attention she gets. She won't let me clip her nails, but she lets them do it with ease because they give her spray cheese and I can hear her tail wagging the entire time! It is fairly expensive (which is to be expected), but they always give me options for care and are very understanding.

Dr Padgett and his staff are amazing. They always email or call to check up on my 2 pups, even if it just routine blood work. Riley my yorkie was very sick one weekend and I called and they got me in as quickly as they could on Monday. We never have to wait long in the waiting area. Just over all a great vet. Kind, honest and knowledgeable. Highly recommend

I can't say enough good things about this veterinary hospital! They take such good care of my dog and two cats and are careful not to stress them out during their visits. Every one of the staff members makes my pets and I feel so welcome and their customer service is exemplary. Dr. Padgett is one of the most caring and knowledgable veterinarians I have ever met and was so patient to go over everything with me. They keep you informed on treatments that are recommended, are up front with cost and are understanding if you need stay within a budget. The staff and Dr. Padgett really know what they are doing and I am lucky to have found them. Anyone who gives this hospital 1 star, just wasn't paying attention and probably isn't happy with anything in their lives.

I had an amazing experience with Clements Ferry Vet yesterday! First time in with my 4 year old dog...from the Reception Manager to the Vet Tech to Dr Padgett...all extremely professional and thorough ...they all spent a lot of time getting to know my dog and me! I will most definitely use this family business in the future. The building is clean as a whistle and new....hands down best experience anywhere ever...and we have had dogs for 40years..give them a try! You wont be disappointed !

Good place to go. Only thing that bothered me was the fact it cost me $270 for a check up before I even got my cat neutered. Then you have to look at your paperwork to make sure you don't get charged for god knows what? Like a location chip and numerous things. They just treated are cat for fleas during their check up and they tried to charge us for finding a flea on him when we brought him for his neutere appointment. After they just gave him a treatment?So when it was all said and done, it was around $600 dollars just to get my cat fixed. Most of the stuff you need done you can do yourself other than the rabies shot. Will NOT be bringing are animals there again. IF YOU'RE on a paycheck to Paycheck income I would not recommend bringing your animals here!

We have been taking our pets to Clements Ferry Veterinary since we moved to the area, just over 2 years ago. We've always received great care and the team has worked us into the schedule for many last-minute appointments. We recently received a difficult diagnosis for our senior terrier, Doglet. Dr. Rains walked with us every step of the way, even calling to talk over options and offer support when he was in emergency care at another facility. When we made the difficult decision to let him go peacefully, Dr. Rains & the CFV team treated us with the utmost care. Their kindness and empathy made a really difficult situation just a little bit easier. Dr. Rains treated both Doglet, and us, with dignity, respect, and sympathy. I can't express how much their care has meant to us. I would recommend CFV to any pet owner!

We took our 2 baby dachshund puppies to Clements Ferry Veterinary yesterday. The staff was so friendly and organized. Dr Padgett spent a lot of time with us, gave us good advice and answered all our questions. Our first experience with them was perfect. Look forward to a long and close relationship with them.
