Ummmmm........Life is better with good coffee.And,....If you left the house stressed mad or uptight and can't shrug off the chore of grocery shopping, you can always just go have a glass of wine too!Have a few too many and decide you don't want to cook?Well goodness they have a deli that is better than many surrounding restaurants. (FYI it's always better to be of sober mind)The sign says locally owned so that is awesome. They have many specialty breads in their bakery. I picked up some rye. It's good. Huge selection of cheeses. Seafood looked awesome.Very clean store. It seemed like the staff are very interested in helping their neighbors. They don't see them as customers but friends. (Way to go management)Some changes in the health of a family member has propelled me into shopping in an unfamiliar place. The stress of it all has been a little unnerving. My coffee server knew I needed a hug and came around the counter and gave me just what I needed.Chapin is a small town but has grown so much you can still feel out of touch with community. That is unless you go to Lowe's.Great atmosphere great folks.

Usually stop by on my way home couple days a week. Priced high on a lot of things but they do have good sales. Problem is if you clip the coupons or just use the the Lowe’s card for the sales it does not ring up correctly. So there for you pay full price anyway. Has happened several times I’m not sure I’ll go back.

Did order to go. Ryan put it together and let me tell ya, he was FAST. The only place I've ever dealt with that was as fast as that was target--and I think he was faster. A+

The people that work the store are lovely and nice and I hate to be negative or complain but I probably will stick to Publix from now on. The prices are a little higher than some competitors but i found the convenience of curbside to be worth the price. I find that the store isn't usually busy like others and that may be the reason for the rotting produce (not getting it in and out of the store fast enough) but using Lowes foods to go, more times than I can count, I have received bad food. From Chicken bought the same day with the date good on it, yet could not be cooked due to the rotten egg smell, to shredded parmesan cheese that had mold all in it, fresh cilantro that smelled and was full of black spots, rotten corn multiple times leaving us with not enough for dinner, badly bruised bagged apples that were rotting and strawberries that weren't even worth cutting out the bad spots there were so many... you name it. Lately I've only been comfortable buying prepackaged pantry items and have stuck to a different store so my shopping here has declined these past few weeks. I decided to give it another shot today in a pinch and bought several ears of corn hoping for a better experience and was let down yet again. Very disappointed to say, it was the same. I really hope for better things in the future with this grocery store.

I was visiting a group of Carolina alumni at Brown's Landing and went shopping with a dear friend. The selection was great and was able to enjoy a craft brew while picking up some picnic items.

I walked in at about 8:50am on a Sunday, a young cashier and 2 youngbaggers were all on their phones. They looked up at me, in my face and didn’t smile or greet meet. Just watched me walk down into the aisles.

First time inside since being Lowes. I like the checkout lane names. The place carries a different look an outlook than bilo, and hopefully, the staff has changed. Also, the bilo staff were racist so I hope Lowes hired humans who aren't racist.

I live in Chapin and I am a frequent customer because of the experience. The coffee bar/bakery is top notch and employees are great. The store brand items like chips/frozen veggies, etc are an excellent alternative if you want to save money. Wine selection is the best- I get all my wine there. Everything is clean, and never too crowded so that's great. In fact today I'll be taking my kid over there for $2 smoothie day!

This store fancy! It's always clean and well stocked (except with my favorite vino 😉). Honestly, if you're on a budget, this isn't the store to pop into after work for a few things: you need to make a plan and shop sales.

Lowes Foods of Chapin has a large variety of anything you need. They have list of fresh food that's prepared in-store.

Over priced, odd place, felt unwelcomed by staff. I will continue spending money at Publix.

I just love walking in a dead store and getting stared at by cashiers and baggers. No greeting, just staring and texting.

My wife and I have not visited Lowe's for several years. Looks high-end to me and competing for Publix's customers. I can't say with a real level of accuracy, but the prices on some of their goods seemed to be about the same. The in-store coffee bar is a hidden gem.

The prepared deli items were not as fresh as I expected. When I requested a previous prepared quesadilla be heated, it was still half cold.

Great fun. Outdoes Publix on the cakes. They use real butter. They will let you taste the icing. Call ahead to order your cake. It is always fresh. My son got a Publix cake and it was dry. Our second dry cake from chapin Publix. I complained to Publix in Florida and they had to change the buttercream icing due to M. Obama fat restrictions. I pointed out that if I am ordering cake I am expecting to serve cake that is consumed not thrown in the trash. He said his hands were tied. So I have to make the cakes which take forever. But not since I went in Lowes. All my cakes will come from them. The cake is moist. The icing is made as I would with butter and powder sugar and extracts. You can tell. Cake is no longer in the trash and it is decorated. I tried decorating but not the same as a bakery. Give Lowes a shot. You may find you have a new bakery too. I am also enjoying their breads and deli.

Store is clean and shelves are stocked. Food looks fresh and they offer a great selection. Food prices are on the rise everywhere. Would rather pay a bit more and get what I came for. Plus, if I still had small children, they would love it! They do well catering to the little ones.

I enjoyed shopping here, the customer service was exceptional. A lady by the name of Bayley helped me with finding what I needed and making sure I was satisfied. I will be bringing my mother and my kids here in the future. It is rare to find good customer service these days. The store was clean, everyone was nice and shopping here from now on.

A former Bi-Lo turned into a Lowe's Foods. If you didn't know it was under new ownership, you would assume you were still in the old Bi-Lo. But, maybe there are plans to complete the branding. It has what you need. June 2022 Update: The store is fully rebranded now. 100% Lowes.August 2022 update: still 100% Lowes.

I’ve been a regular of Lowe’s since it bought out BiLo here in Chapin. Despite the significantly higher prices than the grocery store down the street from my house, I drive the extra miles to come here. I have enjoyed shopping a neat store with the option to get ready made dinner, a beer or coffee to shop with, etc - Today, my experience has changed my mind.I decided to have a beer as I shopped, and was given a half cup. Literally. I didn’t say anything, as I was just getting it for myself as a treat. But I was not pleased with paying the full price and getting my cup filled only halfway.I proceeded to shop and needed some help looking for something. I asked one guy and he simply said “I don’t know.”, and went about his business. Two times I patiently waited for employees to finish unloading their carts into the freezers before being willing to let me get the merchandise I needed from said freezers. Then I got to the cash register and proceeded to bag all of my $300 order. Several employees walked by and looked at me. None offered to stop and bag my groceries for me. I don’t mind doing this in a pinch, but I don’t go to the grocery store and pay higher prices to do all the work. Finally, I asked the cashier where they had moved a specific item to that I had looked for (and asked for help looking for), And without missing a beat, he simply said “we’re probably just out of it”. Frustrated, I asked another employee that came walking by. She simply pointed towards the front of the store and said “yes, we have those”. I appreciated that she was willing to go and get them for me so I could check out and leave. But I was apalled at the lack of customer service in the store. For a store like this that costs more and prides itself on amenities for the customer, today’s service was sad and pathetic. I’m not a “Karen” that likes to complain. I’m an upbeat and positive person. Today was a big let down. I’m not willing to spend extra money for poor service. I’d venture to say that others wouldn’t be keen on that either.

A very nice addition to this area. They have a nice variety of products and friendly employees. The prices are reasonable and they also have really good fried chicken ready to go.

It is currently going through a renovation but was still an enjoyable experience. Look forward to seeing if the renovations will include some of the features of their other stores, like a drink bar. Renovations are complete and it is very nice.

Although this is a nice Lowes Foods, this one's kind of small because they're in a pre-existing grocery store space so they don't have all of the niceties of a full-blown Lowe's.

I loved Lowe's Foods back home. And please understand, the staff there is very friendly, the store super clean. If you know what you're looking for, sales can be found. But you guys got Food Lion literally right across the street. Have you compared prices? Some of your items, even when on sale, are $1.00 or two more than Food Lion's every day prices! Very disappointed with that. I can't do my weekly shopping, because you guys will kill my budget!
