Chapin location- Placed an order online for pick up. Got home and this is the grilled cheese that I got. Looks like it was placed in the microwave to melt the cheese. The edges of the bread too hard to eat. Definitely not your typical grilled cheese.

We stopped in for a light supper and we were completely impressed and satisfied with Grouchos. We reviewed the menu and selected the Junior versions of several sandwiches. These will come on a 4-5inch sub roll that must have come from heavens bakery itself. Delightfully soft, it still has great chew and a hint of delicious yeastiness. I selected the turkey and ham, with a provolone topping. The meats were thinly sliced and juicy, while the cheese was perfectly melted over the top. The entire sandwich simply works perfectly in itself but then we found the dipping sauce. Ohhhhh, the dipping sauce. This is something so wonderfully put together and pairs so well with their sandwiches it's practically sinful. Think Thousand Island, times a thousand. Seriously, I think these guys can make their mark with the sauce alone. Highly recommend this place. Don't look here for some kind of foofoo atmosphere. These guys run a neat, clean shop that you'll be happy to have visited.

Arby's Restaurant in Newberry, SC makes a better Ruben sandwich than Groucho's Restaurant does in Chapin, SC. The potato salad & and cold slaw tasted strange. The potato chips are just served in a bag. I wish we had gone to Hardee's & got a chicken club than going to Groucho's in Chapin, SC today at least I would had a hot sandwich with hot fries. What I got was a room temperature sandwich with regular bread not on rye bread with a regular toasted bread. The dressing did not even come on the sandwich. It came on the side. I was not impressed. I think the next time we will try JR Cash as you can tell I was not impressed today & I doubt you would be either 👎

On-line order @ 6:15 p.m. Picked it up at 6:40 p.m. Young lady working the front acknowledged me when I walked in, got my name and in less than 5 minutes she handed me my order. Food & service was great!

Groucho's is always perfect for a workday lunch, whether I order online and pick it up, or meet a friend and eat in. The club sandwich is seriously enough food for two people, and it's delicious! The salads are also fantastic, especially if you love homemade salad dressing.

Really enjoyed the sandwich I had here. Had a club and it was delicious. The wife had the Apollo and she enjoyed it too. Her sandwich came with a sauce that complimented our sandwiches perfectly! Looking forward to the next time.

I am always so satisfied when we go in to the store to eat as everyone is friendly and the food is good but today my son is sick at home and I am at work and I have my mother in law picking up food to take him yet they wouldn't allow me to pay with my debit card over the phone this is not making sense to me as you allow those to order through grub hub and other locations but cannot take my debit card over the phone??? Disappointed will be having to rethink this in the future.

Once there no one was in store and was told to wait by the waitress that was watching TV and undoing carry out bags and putting them on a rack. After waiting awhile she finally came and took my order and told me that it would just be a little bit. While I was waiting there were 3 other customers that came in and picked up orders and 2 other customers came in and ordered as well. My waiting time seemed to be prolonging, so I went outside and smoked a cigarette. After finishing smoking a whole cigarette, I came back in the store and still waiting about another 10 minutes just for 1 sandwich. Finally, I received it and I checked to be sure that my extra sauce was there because I really did not want to drive all the way back to get the sauce that I paid for. Luckily it was in there! Good job to the preparator. The main negative thing was being somewhat ignored at first and then just being put on hold for a long time!

Our family LOVES Groucho's! Best sandwiches (with Formula 45 sauce), salads, and sides. Plus, a nice cold glass of that Groucho's sweet tea with the good ice! Friendly staff and servers and always a clean environment. If you haven't been...I suggest stopping by today!

Staff is great, food came out fast, but it's just meat, cheese, and bread. Just not my cup of tea. I imagine there's a secret club of picky eaters out there keeping places like this alive! I didn't look in the kitchen but I assume the cook is my grandma... Making everyone the same sandwich I got every Saturday at her house for lunch.
