Met a wonderful deli worker named Beth at the Chapin SC store and was incredibly impressed with her customer service. There were no potato wedges in the hot display and she made me fresh, hot potato wedges without my asking! It was great and what I look for in a Food Lion employee.

Pretty disappointed in the quality of the meat lately. Hamburger meat specifically has been reground dated meat with brown inside the middle of pack that smells. Started about four months ago and I've gotten several packs since that's unacceptable. If I was buying discounted meat it would be expected but not at already inflated prices. When I moved here almost 4 years ago the meat department is what made this particular Food Lion my regular favorite. Lately I'm driving out of my way to pick up my meat if possible. Another bad smelling pack today has me leaving comments on maps. Please Do better, I love the rest of store.

The management and staff are very courteous and professional as they accomplish customer service to those with questions and ensure the customer finds the products they need. And the turkey loin is my favorite. Keep up the great work. Peace be with you all through Jesus Christ 🙏

I am visiting from Canada and just love food lion... great variety and competative pricing. Reminds me of the big chain grocery stores back home. I like the loyalty program, it is like being appreciated even more with every visit.... Back again... still fantastic!

Store very clean and nicely kept. No employees asked if they could help customers, the customers has to find an employee to ask questions about an item or where to find it. Just really need to be familiar with the stores layout on where to find certain things. Not a long wait time in line for checkout. Kinda quick and easy 😌!

So poorly stocked. Shelves are empty they can not seem to keep food on the shelves. I am guessing the manager has no clue on how to forecast products. It's not like the other grocery stores in the area are the same. They all seem to keep the shelves stocked. So sad.

Very friendly and helpful staff in all departments. Also, item for item they have the very best prices of any local Grocery Stores in the area. Excellent butcher shop and if you get the chance, then get some of their lamb chops. These are not cheap, but they are excellent and often a great deal can be found on short dates.

The shelves need to be stocked with items, you can't find what you want because they're not on the shelves. Only two registers were open six people in one and 7 in the other, waiting to be checked out.I think I will start going down to Irmo exit.

1 cashier when I was there with a line of 14 people waiting. Store was clean and stocked, but the wait nullified all the positive. Took me over 35 minutes to get stuff for vegetable soup. Ill pay more at Publix next time to get in and out

The associates are all very nice but I want to publicly thank one associate in particular, Sterlin. She has been so welcoming and helpful. My family is not only new to the area but the state as well and she has been so kind and patient with helping me figure out a new grocery store. Thank you Sterlin!!!

Went today for the first time. Molded graded cheese in the deli area. Not much in the beef shelves as far as steaks . Couldn't even find zateran coating to fry sea food in. Disappointing

Cashier - young person with the 80s haircut had an attitude and paying attention to his phone other than doing his job. I asked for my 2 sodas on the other side of the safety sheld and he said grab them. Will be last time I go there. It's a shame last impression is the cashier - If you do not like your job get a new one. Do not take it out on paying customers.

This is pretty well located conveniently, you just turn off of Chapin Road into Amicks Ferry Road. Nice Food Lion that is kept very clean and is very spacious to shop in. Most employees are friendly and helpful. I believe most will like it here to shop. Prices about the same as everywhere, you will find the regular sales from week to week on different items. People whom are camping from Billy Dreher Island also go shopping here as well and find it pretty well convenient.

Always folks stocking but shelves are empty for some of my items so I wind up at Lowes Foods or Publix later. Only vanilla yogurt in Dannon for a month now. Finally found some potato bread. Wish they had someone full time in customer service. I have looked two times so far to mention a cole slaw tub that was opened. Gave up.

Great and friendly workers and their deli chicken is amazing, weather it's a baked whole chicken or their fried always delicious and great for a quick bite or a meal for the family. Great produce and always a great price!

I accidentally left my wallet at the checkout. When I returned the next morning, I learned that the Manager locked my wallet in the store safe. Very greatful to the staff for looking out for their customers.
