Doss Marine helped me repower my 1996 Monark pontoon with a new 60HP Suzuki. They were very open, easy to talk to, and informative during the buying process, and their prices were the best that I found in the Columbia area. I appreciated the fact that they quote every repower at one price that included everything from parts and labor to taxes and registration. The only additional fee past the initial quote was an optional extended warranty. (They also quoted me on a 70HP Yamaha, and that price was better than their competition.) The repower was quick at only three business days from start to finish, and the quality of products and workmanship was great. I recommend Doss Marine if you are looking to repower an older pontoon boat.

Highly recommend! Doss Marine is the most honest company I have ever dealt with. Our engine wouldn't "pee". Will problem solved every solution he knew with me over the phone to save us money and time. I was unable to fix it myself and brought it to Doss. The Tell Tale was missing and they replaced it. This is the second time Doss has come through for us and kept the service to the presenting issue. Last summer Will problem solved with us over the phone as we were stranded on the lake...and it was only a blown fuse(there was a replacement located right next to the blown fuse). (We now keep a set of new fuses on the boat at all times). I met two other members of the staff that were also helpful and polite! Thanks, Will & Staff!

Work is poor quality and over priced. You’ll pay twice for their work. Pay the first time, and then pay for it again after they don’t do it right and have to fix it because “you can’t prove it worked when you dropped it off”. Still having problems with equipment not working even after paying for it twice.

I have dealt with Doss Marine for many years. I bought my motor for my boat and was pleased with the price and service. There was some damage on the motor cover, but Will took care of it all. The mechanics were super. Then, more recently, I had a problem with some gauges. Will, once again, took care of issue. I highly recommend Doss Marine. I will definitely do business with them again.

After extensive shopping around, I found Doss Marine offered the absolute best price and service for repowering my Proline. The ordering process was seamless and hassle-free. Because of CV19, delivery on the new Suzi175 was delayed (that is NOT Doss' fault - just is the circumstance). Once the motor arrived, Doss was very quick to get the motor installed, a new hydraulic steering system, and a new electrical switch panel.Now that I have her back and been through the break-in period, I can tell you I could not be happier with the level of service and the way my boat is running!! First used Doss Marine several years ago for warranty work on my Blue Wave. Stand up guy that took great care of me even though I did not purchase the boat from him. His only concern was he wanted to be sure I was a happy BW owner. In my experience that is a rarity. Recently purchased a new boat and Will got me squared away with a new top on her too. Great job! Matches the style and curves for the boat. Work is excellent and done in a timely manner. Both times they added nice little touches that weren’t on the build list. Hard to find someone that does good work at a very affordable price. Would confidently recommend using their services.

After Shopping around for a New 25hp Outboard Motor. Doss Marine had the best price, they even beat the online Outboard dealers. Very easy transaction and they took care of the registration paperwork as well. The Suzuki 25hp I have is so good it's almost unbelievable. Quiet, dependable and SIPS gas, and a great warranty to boot. Give Doss Marine a try, you won't be disappointed.

I was very pleased with the treatment we received from Lane and Will at Doss. My wife and I made 3 trips to the lot (we live 1 hour each way) to see the boats on the lot, and several calls with additional questions about the boat we were interested in buying (this would be an order from manufacturer). Without hesitation they answered every question and discussed every option and provided their recommendations and the reasons why. Bought a motor from doss and had it installed. Overall I was very happy. Till after I took the boat out a few times and found that when they installed the hydraulic steering . The motor arm was rubbing a whole in piston. Sent the salesman a text about that I had a problem and still have not had a call. Fixed it myself said I wasn't driving almost four hours there and four hours back .

Great selection of boats to choose from. We love our Brand New Silver Wave Pontoon and the Suzuki motor is the quietest and most fuel efficient motor I have ever owned. Doss delivered it for us and came and picked it up for free when the 20 hour service was due. The best part was they brought it back the next day and had even cleaned it for us. I would recommend them to any customer looking for a new pontoon!
