March 2024 - Cassat deserves more than a blink as you pass by. The post office (open 2 hours daily), the general store (which seems to have more storage space than retail stock), and the Church (with 2 centuries of members’ lives memorialized in the graveyard). But the buffet at the diner was full of activity during my much-overdue first visit. I planned to just eat fried chicken and accidentally got a catfish nugget too. For my following trips to the buffet bar - it was all catfish nuggets!

Great little restaurant! Customer service is great. Food is so good. Who wouldn't love a home style cooked meal. Prices are great and so is the all you can eat buffet. The owner is super nice and make you feel comfortable as she is serving everyone with a smile!

This place is great! The owner is very friendly and inviting. I had a bacon cheeseburger plate all the way with fries. The burger tasted as good as it looked. It was made thick with fresh ground beef (you won't find those small frozen burger patties at this place). The fries were fresh cut and fried to perfection. This really is a place you need to try and it's a place Worth driving to.

We ate the Saturday breakfast bar. It was very good. They had three kinds of sausage, bacon, and fried bologna, along with eggs, grits, biscuits, gravy, bagels, fruit, and other goodies. The price was affordable. The atmosphere was well-suited to families. The staff was kind and efficient. We will be going back again for breakfast. I want to try their lunch also.

Nostalgia all the way. Great food. Great staff. I really enjoyed eating here. It was a pleasure. I would recommend anyone going through Casset South Carolina stop here. The food was great. The service even better. Good to see small independent restaurants successful today. Would love to know the history of this place. It was awhile so we stopped here. I have been driving bye here for 10 years and finally stopped in. I would much rather support this place than the big chain stores. This stop made a nice lazy day drive well worth it. It was great to see the amount of carry out going on there. I would love to stop in for breakfeast one day.

Surprised at the variety of the food and the speed of the service. It is basically a truck stop but very well known and their lunch buffet looked great and by the volume of people arriving as we left very popular.
