Switched to this CVS location after many, many bad experiences with the one on Clemson Rd. This one is a little out of the way, but they are always very prompt with getting our prescriptions ready and 100% worth the drive. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. This location has been great for us!

I came to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription for my dog Tippet. I came because I had the robo call from the pharmacy saying it was ready. When I asked for the prescription the girl (African American and it the one with the piercings ) said they did t have anything. When I said I had received a call that it was ready she was less than helpful. I told her I had received a call saying it was ready she just said again ‘we don’t have anything’. Now anyone else in that store would have (1) been friendlier (2) been curious enough to investigate the situation and (3) checked the drawers anyway. None of that happened. I had to call the vet again to ask them to send it in again…tempted to change pharmacies. Barbara Beard

I ordered a picture at this store I got a notification that it was ready for pickup after arriving at the store they said they couldn’t get a QR code for me to pay for it but I could go to another store and they can print it there and I can pay there but the picture was already printed and at the Camden store.

Honestly the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I haven't had a good experience yet with the pharmacy and unfortunately my insurance "prefers" is them. This is the second time I've sat here for over an hour waiting for them fill a prescription I called for earlier in the day and was promised it would be ready in 2 hours. Well, we're going on 4 hours and I'm still in the parking lot waiting. They can't call and let me know when it's ready either apparently. I would leave 0 stars if it would let me.

This CVS is not only lacking in customer service but they messed up my treatment by not giving me all my meds. I have a stomach infection that needs two antibiotics and another medicine to treat. Which this condition can lead to cancer. Today is suppose to be my 5 day of treatment and I have only been taking two of meds. for 4 days. Customer service rep from 1800 called to get my other antibiotics filled since they keep hanging their phone up instead of answering calls. This is my 4th time going back for meds I was suppose to receive all at once and was ordered all at once. This is not my first bad encounter with them. This is just too much not to speak up.

Received a text 2 days ago that my prescriber sent in a prescription request for me. When I went to pick it up the female employee told me they had nothing. She then walked away leaving me standing there. I again told her I had received a text saying something was ready and she told me with an attitude she had nothing but if I wanted something filled I needed to go to another window. Since I didn't know what prescription was supposedly ready I just left. Normally the employees are very helpful. Not this time.

My medicine was emailed around 1pm to them by urgent care…we waited till 2:30 to go get it was told not ready they didn’t fill it come back in 1 hour. Husband goes back to get it for me she says oh it never got put in won’t be ready till 7! He then says no I came up here earlier I’m coming inside. So then the girl running the pharmacy window runs and clocks out on break and disappears by the time my husband gets inside. Then the other lady says they are then working on it! WTH! That is not ok! I’ve been waiting all after noon it’s now almost 6:30 still don’t have the muscle relaxers for my back which I threw out. So been left in pain all day while they mess around and ignore our prescription! I’ll be transferring my entire families prescriptions elsewhere tomorrow!

My husband went to pick up a proscription for our infant daughter 3 hours after the doctor sent it. Not only was it not ready but the woman in the pharmacy stated she didn’t know how long it would be. He was on his lunch break and explained our 2 month old is running a high fever and needs it ASAP and it should be ready after 3 hours. It was an expedited order as well. She continued to say well they have a list and she can’t give him any type of time estimate. My mother in law switched pharmacies from this store due to the complete incompetence of the employees and we will now be moving pharmacies due to their lack of care for their customers.To anyone who cares for their children and loved ones, don’t waste your time with this store. They do not care at all.The manager Ebony is a complete joke. She also refused to give ANY type of time estimate on her medication and didn’t care less about having a corporate complaint written on her. Speaks volumes for their company and employees. Can’t wait to switch to a pharmacy who cares about my children and family! I’ve heard Hawthorne is great!

My have times changed. I remember the days of Mrs. Truesdale and how she showed it was a pleasure to serve you. It is not a CVS thing for I have gotten excellent service from other locations. It is a a pharmacist thing. And all her technicians follow her attitude and arrogance. Shot out to Med Save and all the independent pharmacies.

They're not worth the one star, I went to the doctor yesterday morning and waited until an hour before the pharmacy closed(figuring maybe they'd have done their job by now), I got there to find they'd only filled two and I'd have to come back tomorrow if I wanted the rest, the only reason i was able to get them filled was by returning rude and no cares given attitude the young woman i was dealing with had. If you can use any other pharmacy do it because this place is run by a group of teenagers apparently, I say this because I'd assume adults are able to properly perform a simple task like putting medicine in a bottle then into a bag but these fine folks have proven me wrong. If you want to die from not having your medicine go here but if you like having the pills that keep you alive then find literally any other pharmacy in the world, even the sketchy guy by the dumpster outback could fill a prescription better than these people.

Went online to have my prescription delivered my medicine was 10.00 they charge 7.99 for expedite delivery. It stated that my medicine would be delivered on 6/22. I waited till bout 4:30 and called because my medicine wasn’t delivered. The young lady stated that I had to call them so they can have the mail people come get it. Well first off how we suppose to know that if they don’t tell people this online when you go through the process for a home delivery.. so I went to pick my medicine up they then charge me another 10 dollars for my medicine. I told the young lady that I paid for it online. She told me that it don’t say that in there system. Well when I got my medicine bag it clearly said “Expedite Delivery PAID”. They clearly don’t pay attention, if it don’t say it in the system then how do it say that on my bag. I’ve had bad experience with this location for months. I believe it’s time to go else where for my medication.

Got a text saying meds ready for pickup. Drive to CVS. go inside, get to the pick up window and I am told. Oh!!!. your order is on back order and will not be here for 1-2 days!! My question is why the hell did you send me a text and waste my time! This location is total incompetence across the board. The only reason I go here is because I am directed by my insurance company. That will change and suggest others do the same! Not the first time this has happened. The pharmacy manager could care less!!

Doctor called in my script Wednesday am. I came by Friday afternoon to pick it up. The lady at the cash register said she didn't have anything for me then went to look up something across the room. When she came back I showed her the text from my doctor to confirm I was at the right pharmacy. She said "that's from the doctor" - no joke. I know that. But is the pharmacy named & number this pharmacy (since there are many CVS, I just wanted to verify). Oh. Yes. That's us. Ok and it's not ready? Right. ...Since Wednesday? Right. Is there a reason for that? Um...no just busy. I meant - did you need anything else from me? Any information? Nope. Just wait 15 minutes. Omfg. Their customer service and ability to hear is just really really bad.

Got my medicine home and realized it was 75 mcg instead of the 175mcg my doctor ordered! After phone calls and another 30 minutes in store I thought I was close to getting what was prescribed...wrong! When the tech was supposed to be filling it she came from behind the counter assist someone else. She walked by me scratching her head. With her long fingernails. When she was finished she. Walked right back behind the counter, picked up medication she was working on and went right back to work! Discusting!!! Never once did she was her hands or even put on gloves. Needless to say I let the manager on duty know I would not be picking up the medication from them. As other people have stated, the only reason I use them is my insurance requires it and they are the only CVS in the county!!!

When lived near this pharmacy and I had to go there I always received the worst customer service. So I made it a point to go anywhere but there unless I had to. As long as I can remember (at least for the past 10 years) there has been very few staff, no one answers the phone, prescriptions aren't ready. There was always some issue getting medicine. I have since moved away and was counting my blessings I didn't have to deal with them anymore. However, my Grandmother lives nearby I have had to start dealing with them again to help her. In just the latest example of their incompetence, I called them from my work phone to verify a prescription was ready for my grandmother. After 20 minutes on hold, I placed a simultaneous call from my cell phone and in the phone menu selected the option for "physicians office." At the 40 minute mark the phone call on my cell phone (I had waited 20 minutes by selecting the with doctor office option) was answered. The staff member who answered was as usual rude and unhelpful and now my grandmother doesn't have the medicine she needs that was prescribed the ER ON SATURDAY (IT IS NOW MONDAY). This place is a retail version of hell. There are no redeeming qualities. Do anything, everything in your power to stay away from this place and these people. Believe the reviews, don't trust the CVS brand!

literally the worst pharmacy. not only did they fill the wrong prescription for me, but when I called I was told to wait an an x amount of days and call back so they can fill the most recent one since there was a dosage change. I specifically asked several times if my doctor would need to call in a new one and was told no. now after waitinf yhr number of days I was told they cant fill it and my doctor needs to call. are tou serious? filling the wrong prescription first of all is apperantly ok here.

Bought a faulty covid test (test tubes had no solution at all in them) and they wont give refund after i called and they said bring it back to return it. They gave me a new one that I dont even want or need and just handed it to me. Plus it expires really soon so I wont even use it. So now im out $25 because their team members cant communicate. I was basically told they dont know what to do. Will NEVER step foot in this CVS again.

Front staff is nice but I’m confident some of them are incompetent back in the pharmacy. I arrived to be told my daughter’s prescription was $70. As I was about to swipe my card I asked how much did insurance pay and the young lady looked at it and said they didn’t run it through. Why would you not run it through insurance??! Especially when it’s already on file!! Ugh Can’t think of any excuse for it...

My dr sent two prescriptions to CVS Broad St in Camden, SC. I look on my app. The prescriptions are there in process. I live 30 miles from this CVS. I have tried to call all day. No one answers in the pharmacy. This is bad business. I really need my medicine. I am sick. They really need to work on customer service really bad. This is so frustrating, to say the least.

I went to get a COVID test what from my understanding was free or covered by most insurance. A week prior they were free with insurance. I believe the pharmacy staff at this location way misinformed or was just to lazy to run my insurance.Their attitudes was off-putting and very dismissive.

If you’re going here to pick up a prescription be prepared to spend about 45 minutes- 1 hour. Doesn’t matter if there’s 1 person in line or 10 (yes, I’ve been in line with 9 people ahead of me), it’ll be a serious time commitment to pick up your prescription. I’ve also watched everyone working in the pharmacy ignore the phone ringing for 10 minutes straight and ignore cars in the drive-thru (long enough that the cars just leave). If you’re able to go to another pharmacy do yourself a favor and don’t pick up regular prescriptions here.

Only reason I go to CVS is because my Health Insurance makes me. And wouldn't you know it, its because they own the insurance company. There should be law against this. Seems like unfair trade practices. Would much rather go to Hawthorne better customer service.

They DO NOT DESERVE EVEN 1 star, but u can't leave a review if u don't...!! This is thee WORST PHARMACY I have EVER encountered... The staff is beyond rude and incompetent... The customers and clients are NOT a Priority at all.. They have no desire to help or go that extra mile ( actually not even an inch) to make sure customers are taken care of. It's as if we're an inconvenience to them... Prescription are NEVER ready even though we get a message stating that they are. We are switching as we speak, run if you can!!!

Online they said they had the Johnson's vaccine and no appointment was necessary. Drive up here from Bishopville and I'm told the Johnson's is not available and the rude girl behind the refused to give me the other vaccine because I didn't have an appointment.The website appointment process is a joke.

This is then worst place in South Carolina. They are very rude and whoever is working the drive thru pharmacy needs to fired. I can for a Covid-19 test today and my appointment was at 3:30 I kid you not, I waited in line for AN HOUR AND FORTY FIVE MINUTES. I got up to the window at 4:45 and she says “reschedule because the person who had a 4:30 is gone” GONE?! What does that have to do with me ?!? I even got there 30mins early before and the lines didn’t start moving until 4. I will not come here again.

This CVS is where dreams go to die. Of course we were just there because my mom’s insurance requires it which is incredibly annoying. These people DO NOT care about you, your medications, and they treated my mom like a criminal because she was wondering why the price of her insulin was higher and wouldn’t you know it, it’s because cvs didn’t have the insulin available in the required quantity for the insurance company. So it was their fault but they were defensive and rude wheni feel like we were really understanding.Avoid these soulless robots at all cost.

The only reason i put a one is because there is no zero. This is the worst pharmacy i have ever seen. They never answer the phone. They never have your medicine ready even after they send you a text saying it's ready. I don't think but one person in there actually knows what there doing & i wish i knew her name. She is a sweet young black woman. They really need new management!!!!

This CVS location isnt too great... Every time I call to check on my RX's, I have to wait on average 10-30 minutes. The physical store is spotless and somewhat modern. I've made quite a few purchases here before. On the other hand, hire some employees who actually answer the phone.

First time using CVS pharmacy. The young lady at the drop off counter was very nice and helped me get my meds that were transfer from Walgreens. Had a 10 minute wait but all smiles here..Thanks CVS pharmacy staff..Big up!!!
